One of those most important things I've ever learned is how to realize that I'm lost in my own thoughts. I like you say, once you turn an objective eyes to them, you can see them for what they are, and separate yourself from them (as much as is possible). So much anxiety and suffering can be elevated from that simple practice.
This video just made my day! Positivity IS a choice and it does take practice. I have to tell myself that if I can exercise to make a positive impact on my body, then that same philosophy SHOULD work on my mind. Thanks for the great videos, Al!
Nice work Al, i think it is really good to sometimes watch a video like that to remember us to stay positive and not let the things in life affetcs us negatively. Keep with the great work!
edit: after several weeks of research and time I have now learned I went too hard too fast practicing planche progressions. This caused costochondritis which comes and goes and healing is very slow and there are triggers like close chins and dips that never caused pain in the sternum before. Take it easy guys on the joint skills like planche and FL but feel free to annihilate yourself if you are just doing simple exercises like pullups, pushups and squats.
I think negative thinking isnt really bad too, i mean I know a Lot of positive people who are in a fantasy of positivity and they don't do anything real for solve his problems, In the " fitness " context if somebody have cardiovascular problems but think too positive about his condition he can fall in habits than cause this, I mean people need to be positive to take the action, but be negative enough for be conciouss of his weakness and problems, life isnt a rainbow. Al youre a great guy! And a huge example for all the BW community, cheers from the ass of the world chile! Stay healty dude ;)
Hey hey hey Al! What do you think about pushup progression? Like, waiting until I can do a certain number of plain ones before I move on to harder variations or something like that? Thanks and as always, We're Working Out!
