I've had both. Traded my 2016 5075E OOP in on a Premium Cab. I like the Cab, the AC is nice. I don't use the radio much because I like 22:24 to listen to the Tractor especially during break in. You will appreciate having a top at least. It will save you from getting burned up. The seat in the cab is much nicer as well. The Cab may be a little higher COG but it still cranks over on the banks fine. I did trim all the low hanging limbs around the fence rows. One thing about a cab is that if that bush hog picks up a stone or limb and it gets past the guarding, the cab may protect you. FFT.
I have looked into zero turn mowers but I'm concerned that they will get stuck in the sand and the mower is a finish mower and my brush may be too much for it.
How about rain bird sprinklers running off your well? Mount the camera on the roll bar to free you hands. Save your money and give your kids a weed eater for the tight spaces.
I've thought to use the water in the "lake" to water the pastures. I have no fish in them and they just breed bugs so why not put it to use. Rain bird sprinklers are a great idea. Now to get it to work with the lake....
You get a soil sample? That can help answer question and produce more forage.

All good reasons for a cab. I just mowed a bunch this weekend and my allergies are killing me. Another reason for a cab. :)
Jeff maybe a small compact tractor & brush cutter or a small skid steer & brush cutter?
I have a 6" mower for my 5075E. Works great for tighter spaces. Won't cut an open field as quickly as a wider batwing though.
May be the best way for me to go. Lot cheaper than another tractor.
2,4-D will kill those broadleaf weeds but won't kill the grass
Broad leaf spray.
Jeff, how about a large deck size zero turn mower or a golf course mowers with a finisher mower on the front?

Have you thought of using a sprinkler system to work off of your well system to help grow your grass?
I have but hate to run my pump that much. It's got me thinking of water tanks or the lake
Jeff, do you have ground wasps bees, hornets in your area? We do here in ga. I like open tractors but I need the protection of the cab.
I have not seen those ground wasps yet. They worry me. If I had those, I'd have to reconsider my cab views :)

A 5075E is not a heavy tractor especially being an open station.
