- A short side by side comparison between the original weapon sprites (left) and the ones in Doom 64 Reloaded (right). Doom 64 Reloaded is a mod for Doom 64 that essentially remakes the main game, revamping weapons, textures and lighting, and adding new levels and music.

I feel like the Unmaker is the only one that didn't need any changes, it probably would be better if the hand was underneath like with the plasma rifle

I remember talking about the BFG crank before it was made. I think it adds a lot.
It's amazing! It feels like the only proper firing mechanism for such a powerful weapon.

I wish the shotgun have a lever action cocking animation since it is depicted as one in the pickup sprites
The redesigned pickup sprite for Reloaded is a bit of a 'joke' sprite as it actually depicts all three types of action.
Lever/ Pump/ Bolt are all depicted. So now there can be no more arguments as to what type of shotgun it is supposed to be.

looks cool but I wish the BFG and the UNMAKER to be big they are the strongest weapons you have should they be bigger?
Maybe, but if they weren't scaled down you probably couldn't find the animations on them properly.
What you have to also consider is the addition of the hand. Which clearly shows that these weapons are held at the waist... not at the chest.
Chaingun, BFG, Unmaker.... all have a grip showing them to be held at the waist. So they would appear smaller because they are further away.

The fact you think that cosmic modifications to the game need to be 'necessary' is confusing at best. But then to be honest I don't really know what you mean by 'unnecessary'
Like you didn't critique the sprite changes to point out legitimate flaws in them. Simply state 'they are unnecessary'
That in itself makes your own comment rather 'unnecessary'

Don't just say something simple for the sake of saying it... and then pat yourself on the back for 'saying something' lol
Add some 'context' to that something. Otherwise it's a bit pointless. If you have an 'opinion' then that great.
Just... explain the reasoning for it.
Otherwise what we end up with... as we have here... is what appears to be a negative statement made purely just to be negative.
