Thanks Scott, this video is like taking a tour of your best buddies new boat and enjoying it with him to the max. I like the idea of the lower weight batteries. Guys I'm sure Scott won't mind me mentioning this, but Roland has a couple of recent very nice videos out and I'm sure he would appreciate the views and comments and hitting the subscribe and like buttons. He's a true legend of fishing and enjoyable to watch. And really amazing for me to watch . I'm 61 and my rear end stays pretty much parked in the boat seat. 502L has a shorter rear casting area due to the increased seating area. The console is different (better in most peeps opinions), and the front deck lip is taller from the carpet to top. Few other smaller differences, but those are the major ones. Also holds 8 more gallons fuel than the 520C

Awesome boat scott. My buddy and i crank up the tunes on our way to our spots too. Usually turn down or off when the fishin begins. Couple times we thought it attracted them.. I would be prepared for tough conditions and cold water at Cumberland. Not many lakes in Kentucky right now are in the fiftys. I only live a couple hours north of Cumberland but all of Kentucky has been cold this winter and spring. I hope you do good when you get there!

You already know but I gotta say it - that is a Sweeeet new ride you got there! Maybe the only thing left is to hook up the HydroWave to the Kicker system :-D Oh yeah THAT should really put those fish into the mood and call them in from miles around! :-D ha! Keep up the great work.

Helpful video for anyone going for it with a sweet new boat. In the market to replace my 80 something Princecraft aluminum fishing boat. Looking at a 2012 Ranger but I live and fish on Lake Champlain so deal a lot with waves and like to go up the river near goose n gander often so thinking to stick with aluminum with a bit deeper V than a fiberglass bass boat. Anyway useful info thanks for all the videos. Not looking forward to running out, hope they get me to the thaw!

I fished at dale hollow today and caught a 6 lb largie and I’ve been catching 3lb small mouth down in lake Cumberland
i will be leaving the house around 2am to get there and see you guys off. finally got a day off so i will be there, hopefully i will see you there and get a pic with my son,,,, good luck

Nice boat, Scott! Did you sell other one? My Dad always had Ranger Boats, in fact he went to Flippen for one of them. He passed away in April 2010, so I received most of his fishing stuff. I have many lures boxes and boxes. Some are wood, some were my Grandpa's too! My sister has my Dad's last Ranger boat, plus he had the aluminum Cherokee, which was a nice boat as well. Good luck at this tournament !!!

Yo Scotty TJ! My vacation falls in line with your practice days on Cumberland. I know I'll be in some areas you'll be checking out. Hope to catch you on the water. The lake is about 5 FT above summer pool and a lot of areas are mudholes. Cleaner water will be key methinks.

I would take a paddle board over the headache that is a bass boat any day. Sit on top of a cooler, and just fish.
Same baot, lol. These bass boats are kitted, but have more wiring than the pentagon. I always like bare minimum. I have a tiller steer manual start out board, a trolling motor and 1 fish finder. 2 wires run my electric. The only problems i have to worry about is staying on the water to long. 5 gallon gas tank, ive never used more than 2.5 in a day.
HOOKEM IN THE MOUTH.......Hey Bro, go check out "the TWIN TROLLER X-10" small fishing boat......TRUST ME. Tons of videos about em right here on youtube, including their own "Twin Troller" channel. I'm 56 yrs old, been living & fishing in central Fl since 1969, mainly for bass. I fish for bass now more than ever. I've owned boats from canoes & jonboats to a couple bass boats, one of em I bought brand new back in '04, had to sell it 7 yrs later to save our home during that recession. I had no choice. That SUCKED. Bought my Twin Troller in October of 2016. I LOVE IT. I can assure you, there is NOTHING "gimmicky" about the Twin Troller. BEST small boat with AWESOME patented "in-hull propulsion" system you run & steer with 2 simple foot pedals. It spins circles ON AXIS. You can go straight BACKWARDS. You can hold PERFECT positions in wind & current EFFORTLESSLY......all with 2 foot pedals that steer & operate the 2 HIDDEN & PROTECTED saltwater-grade MotorGuide trolling motor heads. 2 men can't capsize the Twin Troller if they tried, seriously. UNsinkable too. VERY comfortable & 2 anglers can sit or stand. You can add an optional small outboard like I did. FISH ALL DAY on a single battery charge!!! Buy the BASE model. It comes ready to fish......just add a series 29 deep cycle marine battery. I did the math, if ya buy the base model & add your own simple depth finder, cleats, 2 rod holders, & onboard battery charger, you SAVE $300 from buying the model that comes equipped with those. 10' long x 4' wide.....VERY stable. It runs in only 7 INCHES of water. Goes right over & through fields of lily pads, maiden cane, Kissimmee grass, & most other ROOTED weeds. Also goes right over floating logs. I can carry 8 baitcaster/rods & plenty of tackle & gear. Say goodbye to paddling, possibly capsizing, & fighting wind & current. This boat is SICK!!! It took me about 8 months to save up & buy mine. SO GLAD I DID!!! SEE ALL THE VIDEOS & START SAVING UP BROTHER, YOU'LL BE ALL SET......TRUST ME!!! But for future models I would like to see the whole rigging process, basically the drive of picking it up stock an u taking it too get rigged up with all the equipment and getting it wrapped, an maybe let us know of what companies you use to get that all done cause when the time comes I would love to rig my boat up like yours.
