I heard them do this live in 1977 in Toledo, Oh, when 'Oops' first came out. They took the stage in front of a curtain, in black jeans and white T-shirts and opened with this song. After a break, the curtain dropped, and there was the Ra/Pyramid/Willie motorcycle drum stage set. F***ing Awesome! Will never forget the first of my 15 Todd shows (even interviewed him while a student at Ohio Univ.) This song has the same ferocity I remember from back in '77. Just incredible. Todd. Best. Ever.
This "power trio" tour was totally awesome. I have seen dozens of Todd shows, and this was tops. Second was when Utopia came out in white robes and played unknown tunes for the first half of the concert at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, circa 1985.

For all you guys wondering who the drummer is, his name is Trey Sabatelli. Yes, the guy smokes on the kit! Perfect fit for Todd and Kaz as a trio! All three are KICK ASS players and singers!! Been a huge Todd fan/follower since his Runt days and this is the ONLY time I've ever seen Todd do a trio act. Just freaking awesome! Love the whole DVD! Gotta love Todd "the man"!!

Yes, it's a roadie - but Kaz never did trip over cords - he broke his ankle from synchronized jumping like a loony. What a powerful, powerful, punchy song! Full marks to the drummer (who is it? - can anyone tell?) for keeping a solid groove, rather than rushing.
Yep! This album, and Todd's "Hermit of Mink Hollow" (released only months apart), are my favorites. The combo of these two albums really show the beauty and ferocity of both "Todd alone" and Todd with Utopia". It has always fascinated me that they were recorded and released so close together!

Todd - the king of the "festering" guitar - and I mean that as an enormous compliment. His guitar festers and rages with his vibrato and tone.
