What i really hope is that those na'vi will acknowledge Spider saving them in the next movie. He deserves some recognition for the insane level of loyalty he showed.

They wasn’t shooting. When Lyle spot Sully Boys and Spider they was just standing. The whole movie Quatrich been making it clear to his team to not kill the kids. So it was kind of off that he would be more hesitant to shoot a Navi woman and shoot First think later when he sees the three boys Quatrich told him not to shoot at, hell he could’ve hit Spider.
I like how they humanized the marines. They weren’t and didn’t gonna kill any children or any innocents

fr. the old quaritch, would laugh at him. true, he still burned their ancient homes, but the fact he didn't kill is really interesting. as someone who's supposedly a villain in all the future movies, he seems a bit too soft
Sad scene. But before learning Jake and his family have fled to one of the the sea clans, wouldn't Quaritch and the RDA have done this same interrogation to Mo'at and the forest clan?

Spider didn’t bring them there. The only reason they know they were on one of the islands of the sea people is because when Kiri gets hurt, they got a signal it was somewhere in that area. Spider didn’t give them up. If anything he helped save those people. If he weren’t there, a few definitely would have gotten shot
Quadritch is definitely less evil than before, he would’ve massacre that village the same way he did with the giant tree to prove his point but now he only burn the place down and spare the people. Miles’s presence definitely affects him personally to some degree.
Immediately using flamethrowers would've yielded much better results. The straw would burn, and leave behind any tech that could possibly be in the structures. Of course, there would be less of them to interrogate. However, just using the strategy of eliminating all the Na'vi in the area also means there's less of a chance for Sully to escape, or have help doing so, and also protects RDA fishing and mining assets from Na'vi attack. It also prevents any Na'vi from uploading info about any weaknesses of RDA technology to Eywa.
What I'm saying here is, if they weren't written to be so incompetent, they could be playing like the average Stellaris player, and already have taken massive regions of the planet by the time of the second movie.

Spider obviously doesn't care about himself. Even though he brought the RDA here, if he had known they would torture and humiliate the sea people, he never would've done it.

Their is no denying that spider is quaritch is son and saving quaritch from his watery grave is probably a close suggestion that spider his a small once of love for his father na'vi or not
