You need to try some stand up comedy, it just feels like you'd be good at it. The way you're always so cheerful and laugh at the simplest of funny things.

Another stupendous video, Will! The "Secret Red Suspender Society" has only one secret. Little old men have no a**. Trust me on this. I am looking for some red suspenders at the thrift shops. When you're turning 70 like me, belts don't work anymore. It's a polyester jump suit or elastic waist shorts and a leotard. LOL! Keep the videos coming, Will. I'm a fan!

But seriously, thanks for this. I´m sure that for me and everyone who watched this till the end it has been extremely helpful to hear, I feel much much calm and mature just from hearing, looking foward to be able to be firm and put it all in motion.

Spending 40 minutes of my time with you was well worth it. You have excellent insight into what it takes to be successful in so may ways. Much of what you learned was at the school of hard knocks, but at least your learned. Good for you. I see a bright future for you ahead. Thanks for your time.

this is the first ever video of yours i've come across and just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to give all this advice. it's very useful and to the point and you seem like an awesome person. having just decided that i want to make a living on art, i feel really lost cause i have yet to finish a completely different degree, struggling to find my first job cause i have no experience and i feel scared and helpless. your video put me a bit at ease and you're just radiating sweetness. i wish you all the best and your drawing style is lovely

Big heartfelt thank you sir. For years now, I have been building up my portfolio, honing my skill, saving my money at a day job. I've been building my reputation as a honest, hardworking employe, and doing my best to be as plesent and enjoyable to work with as I could. I often get discouraged at the idea of freelancing, because it's this far off concept that seems to be unattainable; however, you have given me a great deal of hope and encouragement that it is possible.
Big wall of text, and I'm sorry if it takes up too much of your time. I just wanted you to know that this video, and your advice means a great deal to me. That all of my hard work and patients, with a little luck, has a chance of success. And that chance is enough to go for it. I'll take your advice to heart.
    Again, thank you Will!

Hi Will, I think many of us starting out make the mistake that our "time" is worth more than the "product" we produce. We have to value our own creativity and the time it took us to get where we are. When a client selects us because they appreciate the work we do, that has real value. Clients should see the value we have in ourselves much like a business owner values the product his company produces. You've heard the old saying, "I'll trade you my treasure for yours." If the client values his treasure more than we value our own, he's not going to want to trade with us. Just a thought.
Thanks Will, working my way trough your videos...each one a treasure. Take care

Will, this was a great video. You give great advice which is more compelling that an average 'seminar' because the information is solid, but it's also real. You are not relating advice from books, rather it is from your life. So its believable and connects in a deep way, plus just watching you draw is absolutely fascinating. Thank you.

Ahh, yeah... I also love your tips and your shading techniques. Ive been trying to do some art myself, but im no so awesome as you. In the country i live, artists literally die of hunger... That has no market here. Nevertheless, you are extremely inspirational. I just wanted to say that.

I dont think that maing your first comic book on credit card was dumb thing. You made a move, you wanted to do something with your abilities and skills, so this is something really awesome. It is better to make mistake doing something to achive your goals, than hesitating about your possibilities. You never know if you don't try. What I want to say: Sometimes you succeed, and sometimes you learn the lesson :)
I use also an app to count my calories, but when I have like hell lot of work I usualy forget to do that. But it is also good to be a little lazy with those calories apps, I dont get junk food when I must write it down, because I am to lazy to find all the ingridients and write it down, so I just dont buy and eat it at all :D
Appreciate you videos, keep it going!
