You're an inspiration Will :) the irony is yesterday I decided I spend way too much time on Facebook. I just go on there and get caught up in commenting on other people's posts about politics or whatever the main stream media wants us all to get obsessed about next. Lately I've started to realize afterwards it just leaves me feeling empty and frustrated. I just wasted my time and energy having discussions that are quite meaningless. As if me spouting my opinions on social media will change the world. I could've been drawing and painting instead. Especially since I'm still a beginner and need the practice. So yesterday I decided to do that. If I get good enough I can make my images tell stories that potentially have a much greater impact than countless of endless rants. Nobody likes a grumpy critic anyway. While someone who inspires is usually liked. That is what you do and you're doing a great job at it as well. So keep it up!
A quote I got from the book "How to win friends and influence people" is... Grow up. Don't just grow old... and we should probably all take that advice to heart

+Will Terrell I'm your biggest fan! I'm one of your subscribers. And actually, I'm an artist too, but these days I'm learning how to draw like you. And thanks for making these videos for all of us I really appreciate it so much.
      Thanks.

At the time of me writing this, I've just done something really horrible to a good friend of mine and I'm not sure she will ever forgive me, or if i'll ever forgive myself, and I don't remember a time where I've ever felt so bad (i seriously considered just jumping off a bridge for a second or two sometime ago). Watching your videos again is making me feel just a little bit better.
Your stories about all the mistakes you've made, how much you have gone through, and the fact that you soldiered on and became such a cheerful, inspirational person, gives me faith that maybe someday i can at least begin to forgive myself, atone for the terrible things I have done and become a person that contributes something of value to other people's lives, whether that be through or art or just being a good individual.
Moreso than any kind of artistic advice you have given me and other people, it's the stories and guidance you share about life, hardship, forgiveness, and sacrifice that make this such a great channel.
    Thanks for everything, Will.

You've made me realise a lot about myself lately, Will. How critical I've become; How judgemental; How miserable and lonely... I never realised why before because I always try my best to be caring and always polite, respectful, which I honestly always am! But something wasn't clicking, and I've noticed it for a while now, so I kept blaming others but there's no way it can be everybody, so it has to be my fault to a degree. You've helped me come to terms with the reasons why. It seems like it's going to be a slow process haha But an invaluable change to happiness. That's really what I've lost over the years - Happiness. Excellent drawing, by the way!

I'm so glad you love how adorable old people are as much as I do! I love all the drawings of old people. I grew up in a trailer park where all my neighbors were senior citizens and me and my brothers were the only kids. All of the old people you draw remind me of those people who I grew up with, whether I knew them or not. I think you're also one of the most realistic artists I've ever seen. You're so honest and will admit to your mistakes. Loved the Melon guy, absolutely amazing : D

I'm so glad I found this channel! You're so unbelievably talented and an overall great person! You're funny and kind and it always shows through in all of your videos. I've just had a marathon watching so many of them. You're absolutely AWESOME.

This opened my eyes so much. I recognized myself from your stories since I've fallen into the sour trap myself after starting a dayjob few years ago. I noticed growing very bitter since my art stuff got pushed back since I couldn't find time or energy to do what I loved the most. About few months ago I've started really pushing back and I decided to start MAKING time for art too and I decided to consciously try and cut back on my bitterness and negativity and try and focus on creating and enjoying the free time I have with my art.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. You are such an inspiring speaker and a great artist too! Keep up the good work!

I'm glad to finally find someone who can share some insight into the hows and whys on being a jerk to people regarding things like this. I've experienced people who feed on critisizing others to an uncomfortably unfair degree, and I myself critisize a lot with the improvement in mind. Been wondering for a while where it hit'd wrong every time. Thanks for sharing your thoughs!

I love the message in this video. One thing I might add is that there's a difference between being critical and being OVERLY critical, or being critical in situations that you ought not be critical in. Criticism can help a group if it's rooted in objective observation and not ego, but again, it has to be used with discretion and it will not be helpful if the person being critiqued has too big of an ego himself to take the criticism. Love your videos, Will. :)

I adore you, Sycra, Jet, Seage...I love all of you so much. I've just been watching your videos alone for the last like...three or four days, and I've gained more respect for you not just as a person (now I've watched your actual videos, I found out about you via Sycra's streams) but as a teacher, a mentor, an artist, and a friend. When I watch your videos, I feel like I have more of a purpose for doing that because I always just feel...I don't know, guided. It's a long story, really. I guess it's worth a P.M. if you're interested in knowing what's up...But, it's not that big of a deal.

Where/how did you get started? I love your style. I love the feel of these videos too. I want to improve on my own art skills, and you inspire me. So thanks and keep up the great work!

Hi Will, Discover your work few days ago.Like your sketch alot. Especially the hands of the character(person) you capturing. Maybe you can make a hand sketching video someday if possible? Hope to learn that. BTW, always good sketching and coloring. Ya, forgot to mention, the "how to get good at drawing" on your blog is nice too. Thanks for creating all of these.

Hi, Will! Thanks so much for your video and I'm happy for your new subscribers, sure they'll learn a lot here as I've been learning...
I like to receive/read critiques, I think is a matter of how you do it...as an artist, I think the styles you don't want to follow are a important decision too, is part of your own vision, and you just need to stay respectful and open to things...But I understand when you say that it can be a dangerous path to follow...
Thanks so much for these thoughts! =)
