Amanda Randolph, as Mama, been In show business for years , kudos and thank you Ms. Amanda, for your contribution to this great show, that so many many people love. You may be gone, but I guarantee you, your work lives forever, I'll never forget you and I hope we'll meet one day when the lord calls me home.
I've watched every episode so many times, I know practically ever word. Moreover, I still can't get enough of these great Actors, because there's nothing today, that can't compare to these great Actors. Damn, where has our entertainment and Great Actors, gone..??
I wonder am I the only one hearing them destroy the English language and I'm laughing my butt off and they never break character and laugh... Great actors great writing
I think Carroll O’Connor “stole” their humor mutilating the English language. His jokes with changing words is identical to The Kingfish. “All in the Family.”
“The Kingfish Finds His Future” Season 2, Episode 22, aired 30 Apr. 1953. Alvin Childress as Amos, Spencer Williams as Andy (as Spencer Williams Jr.), Tim Moore as Kingfish, Ernestine Wade as Sapphire, Johnny Lee as Calhoun, Amanda Randolph as Mama, Roy Glenn as Walker, Bill Walker as Mr. Gladstone, Milton Wood as Mr. Harper.

Sadly enough this show seems true to life. There is vast difference between a Morehouse graduate and a hustler like Kingfish. Laughing at it was also kind of sad.
Didja laugh at naive, stupid, but kind *Woody* on *CHEERS* 🍻 in tbe '80s? Never watched? Watch it. You'll laugh at the *White Woody* from Iowa. *The difference?* One be White an' da other bee's Black. *The similarities?* BOTH are FUNNY! *LAUGHTER AIN'T SAD!!*
The story could have ended differently and I thought it might. Nowadays "primitive art" fetches big bucks and I really thought Kingfish was going to find his future.
This show is hilarious 😂 and did you know the NAACP and black churches were the cause of this show going off air ? Crazy why are people so jealous. These are the best black actors and actresses ever; they are very passionate about acting; not a pay check
That really angered me. Yet, they never complained about Redd Foxx in Sandford and Son, Good Times and the racist portrayal of Sherman Hensley in The Jefferson’s.
Enjoying the Amos & Andy show I realize the negative way they explored people of color. I sure pale face wouldn’t have it any other way degrade people you have to act the way I want you to Why because I said so also I pay you to do what I want you to do, or you want have a job oh that dealing still exist today.

The actors and their wonderful timing is so natural , that it almost seems like we are eavesdropping on them .
Johnny Lee, no one can ever replace him either.
I love these guys.
The NAACP had this censored but not hip hop rap music
In US modern culture, porn is OK, but the slightest negative rendition of Blacks, even in comedy, is deemed inappropriate.
No one could ever play the part of the " King Fish" other than Tim Moore.
He was a great comedian.
Like no one can replace Carroll O’Connor.
"Kingfish you knew you were a failure before, but its never kept you up this late" LOL now that's funny, these are great fun to watch classics.
This is one of my favorite episodes although a little sad but funny, too.

I thought the Kingfish's horse was pretty good. A lot better than what I could have done, but those kiddie pictures of his were hilarious!
U txt

For once I feel really bad for Kingfish... he really tried honestly, rather than by conning or tricking. :(
Wasn't a bad horse he drew, either!
They don't make em like this anymore!
I love da fish!
This featured actor plays everyone... the guy taking the test, the neighbor, the Dr, the theater actor lol
this is one of the funniest episodes
Kelly Sutton ...I totally agree .
Great show
Thanks for the video.
Where did Sapphire and Mama get money for shopping ?
I enjoy the movie 🎥
Kingfish, did you ever hear of a country called Longtitude? Hilarious.
I cracked up when I heard that line. I’m going to steal it.

maskedavenger777 so real and down to earth
There are Morehouse graduates who are hustlers, too. It's not hard graduating from most colleges nowadays.

The faces king fish makes are funny - to bad he ended up poor because they took advantage of him
Very good show

They are all really good actors. But why didn't George start house painting?
One of my favorites. If you don't love this one, you have no sense of humor, and need to find other reasons to exist.
So sense of humor is your "reason" to exist? What a poor life of yours.

Listen to Frank Zappa ,"Thing Fish"
Great
In this episode, the Kingfish becomes a Tom Sawyer.....ala: whitewashing a barn.
Why tell the end? Useless.
King-fish had a smart-ass mouth own him to his friends and he treated LIGHTING like shit,I wonder why the writers played it that way.
mavericktn tn n
Lighten up. The whole show was just a comedy.
People now days,do not have a real sense of humor.
@@peanut24cute49 AMEN TO THAT!

What?
You need a course in the English language !
Kingfish’s and Andy’ English is better than yours. Quit bitching. It’s a comedy show.
No worse than Picaso
Anybody know who lightning was
Nick Stewart
The credits say Written by (a young) Bob Ross!!
