best damn black show that ever was or ever will be.everyone of the actors were born for their parts in the show.i am white and i love everyone of them although they are alll gone to heaven.i cannot for the life of me see how any white person could be cruel to any black people
The proper title is, “Kingfish at The Ballgame,” Season 2, Episode 11, aired 16 April 1953. Alvin Childress as Amos, Spencer Williams (Jr.) as Andy, Tim Moore as Kingfish, Johnny Lee as Calhoun, Nick Stewart (as Nick O'Demus) as Lightnin', Joan Henderson as the Little Girl, Michael Jackson as 1st Boy, James Jackson as 2nd Boy, Walter Woolf King as Mr. Wentworth (as Walter Wolf King), Lois Austin as Mrs. Wentworth, Arthur McNeely as Boy's Father.
It was impossible to get a ticket for 35 cents to this game since the film clip is of the fifth game of the fifth game of the 1951 World Series. The player hitting the homerun is Gil McDougald, the 1951 American League Rookie of the Year. The home run was a grand slam off Sal Maglie, only the second in World Series play up to that point . The first occured in 1920 and was hit by Elmer Flick of the Cleveland Indians..
ITS A CRIME ON HOW BAD THE VIDEO LOOKS ALL OF THESE SHOWS SHOULD BE RESTORED AND PUT OUT ON BLURAY DISCS ITS A CLASSIC SHOW LIKE THE HONEYMOONERS AND I LOVE LUCY IS.😢

After awhile, one would think that Brother Andy would catch on to Kingfish's schemes! Love this show! LOL.
tyty274 YOU WOULD THINK 🤔
Yeah he’s always getting over on Andy!SMH!
Andy was able to double cross him in "Kingfish Sells Andy a Lot" which made it one of the best of season two.

Poor Kingfish, he always loses out in the end!
Because he's such a crook!! Lolll
Aww, the REAL, ORIGINAL Yankee Stadium. The one that was across the street from the trash heap they built to replace it. SMH
Classic comedy you can't get any better.
They redone that whole area!
Kingfish can't outsmart a little girl yet he outsmarts Andy almost every week.
Kingfish and Calhoun.
Amos and Andy.
✝️
Everybody check out John Miller page, he's colorizing the shows one by one...
Jack mulhall gem
Wish Amos had more lines. He seems to be the smartest!
Calhoun spectacular! Old movies always had a shyster lawyer, especially The Thin Man movies, but John Lee was the best in a series to good ones.
Love Cslhoun
Great Stuff C.C
Da Kingfish do be litters
