This is a great show, with great actors and well written scripts. It still stands the test of time. It is head and shoulders above anything on TV today.
What a nice show. I wish that we could turn back time and erase all the wrongs. But since it did happen, wouldn't it be nice if it was forgiven and forgotten?

It was taken off the air because the NAACP labeled it as racist. As not being an accurate portrayal of black people". They finally succeeded by threatening to boycott the sponsor, Blatz Beer.

Yes they were the best thing on the air back in the '50s and the '60s. I love that show. It was very entertaining. Good acting❤❤
