Thank you for that last part. I was wonder why in 2 nd kings Josiah was destroying the alter of incense.
I had a feeling it was about the burning of incense to all the other gods that he was purging.

Shalom Joanne our understanding is that the Holy incense can only be burned with coals that have come off of the sacrifice altar Num 16:46-48 Aarons sons took unauthorised fire and this was their sin.

What are incense ingredients that are NOT okay to burn?

Since the levitical priesthood has been replaced by Yeshua, and those of the assembly that make us the new priesthood, should not we now be allowed to make this incense? Perhaps not the exact quantity. But He also said not to make thr incense for the sake of smelling it (perfuming it) it shouldn't be treated as something common.

Shalom unfortunately the priesthood on earth that carry out ''physical'' Temple services has not been changed, our priesthood is ''Spiritual'' and has always existed, we see an example of this from Exo 19. With regards to the incense production we are forbidden from that specific recipe however any modified version of that incense would be acceptable as it is a different recipe.
      Blessings!

      SHalom Brooklynne
We believe there is no issue the problem would come in when one burns incense with intent to serve another god.

What about these incense such as good fortune or attracts money aren't those are a form of witchcraft

    • @ancientbiblicaloils908
      @ancientbiblicaloils908  2 года назад +2

Shalom Kelly ...The idea of witchcraft seems to be directed or linked to the idea of doing something via the power or another god to cause a result. It does not seem to be linked to simply changing physical reality via Spiritual power...source of power is the issue...if you burn incense unto YHVH (The LORD) and He accepts your incense and gives you your hearts desire that is a type of worship/prayer that has always been done.
      Blessings!

In short Yes it is a form of witch 🧙‍♀️craft any manifestation of luck is forbidden.
And often times incense are made in certain countries, or by people that worship and pray to their God's while they're making these incense.
they're dedicating the incense and the money they receive from the incense to their God.
In the Bible it says the town gathered 50 thousand of a day's work of idol items and burned it ---to be rid of devilish deceits.
Now the devil is crafty and a great imitator, other false gods are using incense.
incense is a burnt offering, but we don't have to do that because Jesus (through his sacrifice) is how we send our prayers up to God. Just speak the name of Jesus in every day situations and prayers.
Catholic priest use incense, but only the biblical ingredients myrrh, and frankincense.
In short if it not in the Bible don't use it.

Yes Malachi 1:11 says you can do so even as an actual offering. We burn as a tool and not an offering at this time.

Shalom I don't believe it is a sin as long as you don't violate a Torah Commandment, Mal 1:11 give us this fascinating witness
Mal 1:11 For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says YHVH (the LORD) of hosts.
