@@alexsandrolopes3113 O well, maybe that's a nice subject for me to talk about in another video. Thanks for the input! But I did nothing special, when you photograph on a black or white background, you can play a bit with the settings in Photoshop, with the black and white slider, and the highlight and shadows.
@@AppelmoesArtandPhotography maybe you can show us how to take black background photos using your smartphone, as many people only have smartphones to shoot.
@@alexsandrolopes3113 That’s a good idea, I’ll write it down. I’ll have to figure out how to shoot with my phone myself, I mainly shoot with my camera. Do you use editing programs?

Wat een leuke ideeen! Ik vind het lampionplantje iets hebben met die schaduw. Met welke lens en instellingen heb je dit gefotografeerd aub? Gebruik je nog ander licht dan van de smartphone ? Hartelijk dank, het geeft me weer inspiratie om te experimenteren.
Dank je wel! Het is al een wat oudere video, uit het begin van mijn RUclips dagen. Ik zie dat ik er inderdaad geen instellingen bij heb vermeld, dus dat weet ik niet meer. Maar ik heb geen dure lenzen gebruikt. Je kunt dit in principe met elke lens doen die je wil. Hangt ook van de grootte van het object af. Als je iets heel kleins wil fotograferen, is een macro lens misschien wenselijk, maar ik vermoed dat ik deze foto’s met mijn standaard 18-135mm zoomlens heb gemaakt. Om ruis te voorkomen schiet ik zoveel mogelijk met iso100, en wat diafragma betreft, dat is afhankelijk van de scherptediepte die je zelf in gedachten hebt. Als je zowel de schaduw als het object scherp in beeld wil hebben, gebruik je een wat kleiner diafragma. Ook dat is afhankelijk van de grootte van het object dat je fotografeert. De sluitertijd kan wel oplopen als je binnenshuis op iso100 fotografeert, dus misschien is een statief wel handig. Ik heb alleen het lampje van een telefoon gebruikt voor de belichting, dan ben je mooi flexibel met waar je de schaduw wil hebben. Als je een extra lichtbron gebruikt heb je kans dat je meerdere schaduwen creëert. Ook leuk, maar ander effect. Of gebruik eens een andere kleur lamp, is wellicht ook interessant! Kortom, een middagje experimenteren is een goed idee. Veel plezier!

What object is the last one?
I think it's called a Chinese lantern, it's a skeleton of a plant. They grow in a variety of countries, I think you can bought them online too. I hope my answer is helpful for you. But it's just an idea, craft stores sell also skeleton leaves. Thanks for watching, have a nice day!
