I came back from one week holiday where I’ve used my Alpha 6400 + SEL18135, for my very basic skills and needs it worked good but if I had a 6700 I could have enjoyed the sensor stabilization, the AI chip for the AF, the new menu, these are the 3 features I actually don’t have on my model. I also consider the deeper grip, the UHS-2 card slot, the 3:2 display and the brighter viewfinder a “nice to have” features. Of course the video options are top notched but I’m a beginner so they are something I could learn in the future. I think I will do an upgrade :)

I bought the sony a6700 after years of using Sony A6000 series cameras. I also have the Sony 70-350mm, Sony 18-135mm, Sigma 10-18mm, and sigma 35mm 1.4 lenses. The camera body and four lenses fits into the Amazon Basics sling bag (very tiny). I agree with the reviewer that the camera plus lenses is a great combo. It IS heavy and bulky compared to cell phones or tiny cameras such as the RX1000 VII (or the TG 5 TOUGH camera). If you are trying to move into semi-pro/enthusiast levels for both photography and videography this is a great camera.

Hello, I’ll be using my camera for 60-70% for RUclips recording and am strongly considering the zve10. However, I when I see the side by side comparison of images between the E10 and the 6700, I prefer the 6700 in image quality, but if I’m not A/B comparing I probably wouldn’t notice.I also like the option of EVF for pictures/ bright environment, but I’m not sure that’s even a real issue with the E10.. Keeping in mind the majority of the time I’ll be using it for RUclips, do you have an opinion on which one would be better for me?

Lastly any suitable zoom lens from Sony if you’re gonna be relying on Active Stabilisation for video, the differences are night and day.

Not for vlogging…just too jittery IMO, but I say that about most cameras. Stick with an action camera for vlogging (or the new Osmo Pocket 3…pretty much all you need except for zooming or serious outdoor work). Otherwise this seems to be an almost perfect camera; strong specs, light and small and a good selection of lenses to match. . Nicely done and really enjoyed the opening!

I'm a novice to cameras and looking for this one as something powerful and compact enough for a travel camera, the only thing I'm unsure about is mounts or gimbal accessories. I was headed for the ZV E10 still saving money, but 1 week ago I shot outside with my friend a dance video. He got an A6100 and I saw the footage it was already nice , so when I got home I just researched the A6000 series and I understand why most people use that camera. I changed my mind I am ready for the next step and I had in mind that the price A6600 is still good but the A6700 is the flagship of them all I definitely buy that camera. In my situation, I filmed a lot of gunpla videos but I am also planning to make more cinematic videos with my dance art in the future so I was thinking further and came up to take the A6700. Fullframe Camera like the A7 are better but it is expensive and attractive for thieves. The ACSP Camera on the other hand are small, compact, and easy to use. Thank you for sharing your story I had the same situation back then when I was a teen my first sony camcorder with the flip screen was easy to use. Btw this was the video that Im talking about in my other channel ruclips.net/video/mfWnEruMrLk/видео.html

Hey! I’m considering this camera over the Sony alpha iv as a hybrid! I will be using it for my art work, everyday videos and photos, and really like the size on this camera, and the size of the lenses! Why can’t this be a professional a cam? And should I get the Sony iv instead? With the Sony cash back offer in Norway, the a7 iv is only 400 dollars more.

Hey there, I would go with the a6700 and sigma 18-50 f2.8 for what you’re doing. Yes the A7IV is close in price but you’ll also have to purchase full frame lenses and 2 v90 cards. The 4K 60 on the A7IV is cropped at 1.5 as well so you won’t be losing much. Hope this helps

I’m not sure if the a6700 is good for a beginner who wants to learn. The camera does so well, it’s hard to make mistakes. I think it’s better as a first upgrade, after you’ve learned how to get good shots from a less intelligent camera.

Depends what you need a camera for; a6700 pros: better image quality, lens options, low light performance, will be able to grow into for a while… cons: price,size/portability,a bit of a Learning curve… dji pros: simple, size, price, discrete, stabilization… cons: low light, lenses, easy to grow out of …
It depends what you need a camera for,and if you ever want to become professional.
