+Dominick Brown hi everyone ,if anyone else is searching for asthma therapy try Knewreck Asthma Eradicator Guide (do a search on google ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my buddy got great results with it.
Thank you! I'd forgotten how to use it (It's been 2 years) and this video really helped. I watched it all the way through, then I did the routine at the same time as the video.
Recent BBC report showed that only 19% use the right technique, resulting in asthmatics suffering and even hospitalised much more than necessary. Thankfully my doctor had shown me the right technique since childhood (35 years ago) and so have been living my life in relative comfort since and running regular half marathons. BUT I didnt know about rinsing mouth out after using inhaler! I actually always have a bottle of water with me everywhere I go for drinking but now I know if I have my mild asthma attacks, I should use it for rinsing my mouth too. Thanks very much for the video...(UK).
Hi, the rinsing does not help with the asthma itself, rather it prevents certain types of mouth infections wich the inhaler itself can make some people prone to
thank you for this video, its my first time using an inhaler even tho ive had asthma since i was 6 months old, i was definitely NOT gonna do the proper steps if I didn't search how to do it.
Thank you deeply, i was diagnosed over 4yrs w Blood Clot in my lungs, then had Covid twice the 2nd round hit me hard over 1 Month, unfortunately i still have lingering effects such as cold that won't go away and when i cough i have issues breathing afterwards so i am 🙏 an inhaler is going to be my saving grace!
I just got mine yesterday cus i got a cold and was suffering from breathing. Went to the er and they suggested i use one of these . He xeplained to me hwo to ise it but i was so out of it i forgot. Thankou for this vidoe
Are you supposed to taste something? Mine has a number on the bottle that I imagine is supposed to move after each click. I did all the steps. Heard the spray, but the number didn't move and I didn't taste anything. How would I know it worked? Sprayed my hand, but it just felt like dry air
I have a virus that causes bronchial hyperactivity so I have to use one of these, but when I use it, it just goes onto my tongue and it doesn't make much difference, please help!!
So to clarify, you don't swallow it after you breathe it in, just breathe deeply for 3-5 seconds, hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly, correct?
My prescription says take 2 puffs every 4 hours. I thought you were supposed to take 2 puffs each time you use it. Can you just use it once, and you'll be good?
if it contains glucocorticoids, you should definitely rinse your mouth using a saline gargle in order to prevent oropharyngeal candidiasis and hoarseness of voice
I'm not sure about putting your mouth around it. Other doctors say that most of the medication will get absorbed in your mouth and not go to your lungs that way. That's why they say to hold it an inch away away from mouth while spraying and inhaling.
Those inhaler things have medication? That explains it. I literally thought those inhalers were just plastic and some weird science made it easy for people with asthma to breathe. I don't have asthma I just wanted to know for sure how those things worked.
You know whats the worst im learning about my inhaler plan (lung infection) today that this video actually confuses me on? My instructions told me to blow all my air out then put to my lips as exhaled as possible then press down on canister into back of throat then try to breathe in AFTER its shot, not beforehand like in video here. Day 1-2 and I'm already feeling lied to, by who I'm not sure anymore. No wonder I already feel like this medicine is useless.
Can someone develop asthma? I am 31 and I was just diagnosed. I was diagnosed with asthma and having breathing issues after quitting smoking. This doesn't make sense to me
This is not the proper way to use an inhaler. The inhaler should not touch your mouth. It should be held 3-4 inches away from your mouth and depressed after you start to inhale deeply.

Just got diagnosed with pneumonia, never used an inhaler before. Thanks for the lesson!
I’m here for this exact reason😅
@@nicolebry get better soon!
I jus smoke too much my lungs Cant take it
I was just diagnosed with pneumonia too and had trouble breathing got an inhaler absolutely clueless on how to use one
Why on earth would they give you an inhaler for that? They should give you an antibiotic if severe
What's up my fellow athsmatics

tilt the inhaler upwards
Thanks for showing me how to use my inhaler (:
That's what I was doing wrong! I needed to start inhaling first and THEN press the dispenser during the inhale
thank you, this helped
So to clarify, you don't swallow it after you breathe it in, just breathe deeply for 3-5 seconds, hold your breath for 10 seconds, then exhale slowly, correct?
yes, i believe!
I'm scared I don't really know how to use it properly
Do you breath in with your mouth upon pressing the inhaler?
My prescription says take 2 puffs every 4 hours. I thought you were supposed to take 2 puffs each time you use it. Can you just use it once, and you'll be good?
King Tutt yeah take it like this and one would be enough
thank you
i always be using it wrong i would just breath into it and in a few hours my chest would be heavy again
thanks!
Helpful
Does asthma really starts with a cough??

Thanks
Thanks soooo much I'm gonna tots subscribe alysaa
Thanks :)
No one has ever mentioned rinsing after using my inhaler. Is this a new thing or old thing?
if it contains glucocorticoids, you should definitely rinse your mouth using a saline gargle in order to prevent oropharyngeal candidiasis and hoarseness of voice
@@latifah7833 Very good answer.
I got Bronchitis and was prescribed an inhaler temporarily. I couldn't breath during wrestling or cross country training😂
Thanks for this got bronchitis smh
for every directioner
Now I know lol thanks!
am I supposed to swallow the air/smoke or? thank u!!
Sheila Oh just picture the medication as a mist or a fog, and youre trying to get it into your lungs. just picture that, and it's easy.

Yo what's your guys esnophile count, mines 24.2%
It is a good video but I felt use-inhalers correctly a better option

My Doc said to use a spacer.
Those inhaler things have medication? That explains it. I literally thought those inhalers were just plastic and some weird science made it easy for people with asthma to breathe. I don't have asthma I just wanted to know for sure how those things worked.
I breathed out completely, sprayed it. Then tried to breathe in, couldn't hold for even 2 seconds.
Maybe next time I'll try to do this properly.
would be effective if using a spacer
I actually need an inhaler bruh
That’s why I am watching this
Good job 👍 okay 👏
SAME!
First time I used my inhaler I didn't breathe in, I let all the smoke out

There’s no difference, that’s what the video said, breathe in after you push down…
thanks i had asthma i was scared
i dont even have asthma i just can not fucking breathe right now lmaoo
holy shit why am I still sick
Thank god for modern medicine!!!
M cousin told me abt this and we were telling horror stories and it was nighttime and i was like 7 years old and i wasnt scared
@1:09 exhale through your nose (not your mouth like he did in the video).
I do not have asthma but this is useful
you are not supposed to put your lips around it. There are suppose to be two finger distance between the inhaler and the mouth
My specialist told me to always use a spacer.
hey my doctor didnt tell me this.
no one talks about how to position your tongue , i feel like most of it hits my tongue...
I'm so freaking scared
Me also
i dont have asthma but inhalers look much more complicated than i thought
But if you close your lips over the tube, don't your tongue get in the way as you spray?
Jennifer lopez
@@philbarber1011wow, did your humour change, if it was today would you have still said Jennifer Lopez?
My dad said he had asthma and I said “ you have a nascar??”
I was doing it so wrong. no wonder I wasn't getting relief
I've been doing it wrong for years 💀💀
Why do u need to rinse ur mouth after?
Kxng Kash to clean up the medicine from mouth as it isn't for mouth and can cause problem
I feel that the spray keeps going to my tongue 👅 I close my lips just like this video. Does anyone else has this problem?
you don't close your clips over it, you leave it an inch from the mouth, press canister and inhale
I do too as well. did you figure out how to keep the spray going away from your tongue?
@@dvsagree7554 Angle it upwards as you inhale.. you should get the maximum amount of medication in your lungs.
I use an inhaler and spray some in my mouth (Not in the wrong way) and blow it out to look like I'm vaping
Im scared.
scared of what

Healthy reminder, cheese is yellow
i have asthma im using my inhaler right now
Can someone develop asthma? I am 31 and I was just diagnosed. I was diagnosed with asthma and having breathing issues after quitting smoking. This doesn't make sense to me
Yes. I'm 41, active, never smoked. Lots of reasons we can develop this. Adult onset. Also, it might not be asthma. Make sure it's properly diagnosed.
So if it's not asthma what could it be?
@@merlemuller4583 COPD is common in heavy smokers.
i havent used my inhaler in about two months. completely forgot how to use smh
Jessica a Darby
RUclips this is not a time for an ad 😭😭😭😭😭
After watching this video, I don't use an inhaler right.
i don’t have asthma, i’m just a writer that needs to know how inhalers work
Lol i always swallow the water after that
Ok but do u have to wash ur mouth after lol
yes..because steroid inhalers increase the incidence of oral fungal infections etc and washing your mouth thereby would aid in preventing the same.
beware of organized gangstalking !
i just spray it in my mouth
noooo not in the mouth! sheesh
Oh you put it in the mouth? No shit, where else am I suppose to put it ?
This is not the proper way to use an inhaler. The inhaler should not touch your mouth. It should be held 3-4 inches away from your mouth and depressed after you start to inhale deeply.
That's only slightly true. It's a doctor to doctor basis. Some doctors recommend it...Most don't.
who has a new fetish?
