Wanna piont out Op in Spaghetti, If we do the math Form the beginning of the story she stated she 20 and her boyfriend is 26 they dated for 3 years. That means she was 17 and he was 23 when they started dating. Her family were cool with this and paying the rent? The spaghetti being made right is the least problematic issue in this whole story.

  • @StaySiren

I think the key point in pasta girl’s story that made bro a predator is the 6 year age gap and fact they’ve been together since she was a minor. The pasta sauce is the least of their problems.

OP in the spaghetti one is a psychopath and you won't convince me otherwise.
Side note, OP can actually buy spaghetti noodles that are made with tomato included if you like your noodles to taste that way. Then they can have their taste without expecting them to be cooked in such a WTF manner.

@@Seecada oh I definitely still think it's an ahole move for him to lie like that and then pick on her the way he did. They needed to break up and all the extra stuff she learned about him cemented that.

I was stuck in a terrible DV relationship for almost 7 years so I’ve called 911 dozens of times… I have also lived in several cities in the Midwest and in the south. Definitely have noticed that certain areas have better quality 911 dispatchers and police response times. EMT almost always beats law enforcement, which sucks whilst in a DV situation with a runner. Ultimately ended in 2017 with my ex on the top 15 most wanted fugitives in the US… sooo yeah they should probably try to fix that, at least for clearly stated DV disputes.

I think OP wasn't thinking about the fact that she lived in the US for years, so moving back to her home country wouldn't be that easy because everything she has was in the US and she had nothing in her country. Who knows if she even had family or friends to move in with?
I bet it felt like it was all too much, she built a life in a different country, probably thought she would marry OP, only to have it all taken away. The whole situation is so sad.

I called 911 after a storm rolled through.
I was headed to pick up my kiddos from school and noticed a power line draped over someone’s parked car and when I followed the line it was so low over the roadway, a school bus could hit it.
I made that clear in the call and it was fixed before I returned home with my kiddos.

I've read this story before and I absolutely think OP made the update up to get sympathy. I think the original fight and breakup are real, but when she saw everyone was clowning on her in the comments she decided to go ahead and slander her ex to make herself look more sympathetic. So my view may be skewed because i’m autistic but personally, I would have just preferred the bf in the pasta story just said “no i’m not doing that.”
The issue is he spent this whole time taking the piss out of his gf instead of being honest with her. Yes she is making unreasonable requests over her food preparations. But he could have just told her “if you want it that way you can do it yourself”
The lying and then making fun of the fact that she never noticed is the problem. Sure he proved his point but it doesn’t change the fact that he likely left her feeling humiliated. Idk what he expected to gain by carrying out the bit this long other than to upset her. Because nobody is going to respond to smth like this with “oh wow your right i didn’t notice guess i’ve been stupid this whole time!”

Called 911 several times, most of them were related to my mom's health issues, and once after I saved her from choking(an interesting story for those that don't believe in coincidence). The only time that didn't involve my mother, was a house fire I saw in the middle of the night a couple blocks away. "Today smoking is going to save lives" I had gone out to smoke because I couldn't sleep.
Also, Sam, what do you mean maybe he is just not that in to her as a justification for his lack of effort???😂 This girl spent a lot of money and time traveling to a different country. If he wasn't that in to her, he should have cut her loose, instead of letting her drain her bank account and waste time! It crazy up in here!

RIP JOHN. I've heard the sauce story before, and even if she's a picky eater (I think she's being immature), I don't understand what he gained from telling her. He could've just continued to pretend for her. I think it's a weird power thing. But the reason they called him a predator is because she was 20, he was 26, and they had been dating for almost three years. This means that, at BEST, she was freshly 18 when he was 23, and at worst, she was 17. Which is again sketchy on the boyfriend's part for desire to control her.
TL;DR: A guy in his mid twenties sought out a teenager to control and lie to and got caught because he couldn't hold in something about effing spaghetti. I'm glad she's free of him and matures in her dating life (and just starts to eat spaghetti noodles plain).

I lived in a SD for the majority of my life so I’ve definitely called 911 a bunch of times. Top 5:
    1. Was robbed at a 24 hour fitness I worked at (they took my personal wallet too, the bastards)
    2. A drunk driver fell asleep in their car on the 94 E freeway and rolled to a stop in the 4th lane of a 5, maybe 6 lane, portion of the road.
    3. A drunk driver in a Dennys parking lot hit around 3 cars and drove over a bunch of bushes in the median. While speeding off, they hit a light post concrete base and totaled their car.
    4. A car in a very dark, secluded area of Jamul was running but in park, with the driver door open and the back passenger door open and all the lights were off. I pulled up slowly and cracked my window to shout if anyone needed help- we were in a no service area near MX (near Otay)- but I didn’t see ANYONE. No tint on the windows either it was completely dark and there were no sounds coming from around the immediate area. I felt super creeped out so I kept my eyes out and shouted one more time if everything was ok and when I got no answer I backed up to shine my lights onto the car- no one anywhere- but like I said THE CAR IS RUNNING!!
So I decided to drive away- I was 19 so I wasn’t getting out of my car alone. I called 911 once I had service about 10 miles out and reported it all. Never got any info about it and never saw the car the next day on my way back from work- I checked.
    5. I was a bartender for a long while and I’ve called 911 on men trying to roofie women, for parking lot fights, and for people drinking and driving blacked out after being told that they WILL be reported if they don’t Uber/lyft home.

My 911 story - about 10 years ago I worked at night cleaning an office after dark in a bad neighborhood. On my way there I was behind a truck that was all over the road. At one point the truck went up onto the sidewalk and almost hit someone on a bike. They had to fall into the bushes to avoid the truck. That is when I called 911 to report the driver. Once I explained what I witnessed they asked me for the license plate. After giving it they informed me that the person the truck was registered to had their license revoked and had a warrant for arrest. They asked me to follow the truck and tell them his movements so the cops could locate us. I did but after a while the driver seemed to realize that I was following him and started to weave through traffic and speed. When I told the dispatcher they instructed me to speed and follow, even to run red lights! The dispatcher lady said "I'm deputizing you, just go!" After about 10 minutes of following the truck I saw blue and red lights and she told me to pull into the next plaza and disengage. It was so exciting! Then I hung up and went on my way to my boring job.

I had to call 911 multiple times. The first was for my father (who has passed away) because he originally woke up to get ready for work but realized the world was spinning and he felt extremely light-headed. He had vertigo but because he was so disoriented, I called 911. The second time, I called 911 was for my twin sister who suffered a grand mal seizure (she has now been diagnosed with epilepsy) and the third time I called 911 was when I was walking home from helping my former boss at the IHOP I used to work at. I came across a young man who was, what i thought, getting something from his back seat. I didn't question it because there was Jersey Mike's to my left, so I was like ' Oh he's getting something from his car' and continued walking. Well, he suddenly pops up next me and starts asking me questions that would seem innocent but when you're a young woman walking home at 10pm by yourself...It's a bit uncomfortable. Then he grabs the handle at the top of my backpack and starts trying to convince me to stay with him and saying that he is my boyfriend. I quickly realize I am not safe and started pushing him away while walking. He moves to block me by standing in front of me and i used the water bottle I had and started pushing him towards the front of the grocery store that was still open, and people were coming out. He realized what I was doing and decided to leave me alone and went to his car. I called the cops, and it turns out, it wasn't his car but rather that he is breaking into the cars parked in front of the car shop. I had walked up on him while he was pilfering through the car.

For the sauce story, i dont know if that was enough reason to break up but i would be pissed too. If he didn't want to prepare pasta that way he should just tell her, so she could do it herself or reveal hownhe did it after first time (without making fun of her, just showing that there is no difference). I think the lying for so long and then taking so much pleasure in tricking her was the main problem, not the sauce itself.

I called 911 as I was making my turn and the operator said that they had already been alerted. Thankfully the nearest fire station was less than a block away and nobody got hurt that day. I called 911 twice. First time was when I worked as a bus aid for a special needs school. As we were on route we passed a library with cement stairs and at the bottom of them was a elderly man face down, not moving. We pulled over no one was out as it was winter time, and a low traffic area. I went up and tried to see if he was okay it took a minute but he said something and I put something I had like my coat or something under his head and we called 911. He was bleeding from his head. We stayed until paramedics and police came. We gave a statement and they took him away. IDK what happened after that we never found out if he was okay.
Second time was I was waiting in Preschool drop off lane and a VERY pregnant lady tripped and fell on her stomach. I got out to see if she was okay. She said she was in pain and couldn't get up and she was worried she hurt her baby. So I called 911. They came and got her. A few days later she was back and said both her and baby were okay.

I would help the people in the crash, you never know the impact you could have.
I had to call 911 when a kid got stuck in a waterfall. I looked around and no one was on their phones. I asked if anyone had called 911. We were all without service and I had to run and find the nearest landline. To add to the terror the people in the house didn't want to believe me. I had to beg them to call for us.

I’ve called 911 quite a few times actually … one of the most memorable was in the evening about five days after I moved into my first solo apartment and I heard gunshots right out front.
I was 25 and living completely alone for the first time. My apartment was a garden level unit in an old house and the unit upstairs was unoccupied at the time, so it was really just me and my dog in the building. The house was right across from a high school and apparently a student had brought a gun to intimidate another student. He fired off a few shots above head level to scare said person. They were intentionally barely off school property by being on the sidewalk across the street (aka, about 10 ft from my front door). When I called the police, dispatch said they had gotten a bunch of calls from people in the neighborhood and they were there within about 5 minutes. A cop came by that evening to interview me about what I heard/saw.
I’ve also had to call 911 after a dog attack, a homeless woman wielding a lawn aerator and threatening people (think a long stick with a wheel covered in spikes at the end), a man coughing up a LOT of blood on the street during the Covid pandemic who needed an ambulance, and more unusual events that come from living in a city.

The sauce one- she didn’t need to break up with him because of the sauce… But the sauce was basically her opening her eyes to his true personality. So it’s not because he wouldn’t do the sauce the way she wanted, it’s because of the fact that he knew he wasn’t doing it the way she liked, lied about it the whole time, and then still thought It was funny that he was lying to her, and didn’t care how she felt. Which means he had no problem lying to her about anything else. If a man will lie to you about something as simple as sauce on your spaghetti, he would lie to you about who he’s hanging out with and what he’s doing. It was never about the sauce it was about the lies and condescension… also, he’s lying cheating POS.

911 in the Los Angeles area during a holiday weekend (I think it was around Thanksgiving in the early 2000s), a really bad accident occured on the 2 freeway. Got the busy signal and had to wait (recording) about 4 minutes. Called 911 maybe a couple more times after that. Usually car accidents, once on accident with the emergency button combo on my phone.

She ended up unaliving herself and he still only cared about himself and didn't think he did anything wrong. I really hope it was a fake story and rage bait. If not, I wish him the life he deserves after screwing someone that he claimed to love over like this and ruining her entire life.

911 story: I’m technically not the person that called. I was a dumb tween who was being all edgy, listening to music with a candle lit next to my boom box. At the time my mattress was on the floor( idk why i wanted that but i did)
My brother called me downstairs as recently I had rediscover his N64 that our mom had taken away( and forgot were she hid it), and he was about to beat banjo kazooie. So i left my room thinking it would be quick but totally forgot about the lit candle ADHD.
I guess the candle heated up my boombox which exploded. Honestly kinda glad I wasn’t in the room, I wouldn’t have noticed.
My brother and I didn’t hear the boom cause at the same time the power went out. We were confused. And our parents were at a football game ( go Bears).
I heard an odd hammering sound and think it’s somehow my dad. I go up to my room and open the door, black smoke hits me like a wall and I can only make out two fires in the distance, one tall near my wall(boombox) and one on my pillow. I shout out to my brother and then run to our parents room. He eventually finds me and tells me to find water, i hand him the half empty glass on my dads bedside table. He yells at me and eventually i run to the basement to fill up a mop bucket and he tosses it on the fire and runs out. i ran back in and tried to open my window, they we’re always an issue and I only got it open a bit before I couldn’t breathe. I go downstairs and my brother said the phones were down ( this is just as cellphones we’re becoming more common but still black and white with just call functions, and we couldn’t find ours. I ran outside around to the front to hopefully flag someone down. luckily, someone had seen the smoke and was worried. They called out to us and I used their phone to call my mom. Then realized our dog was still in the house and panicked to go find her. I took her outside, held her and cried, she was fine. The good samaritan had called 911. And then my mom again to update us. Fire and paramedics came. We were shipped off to the hospital. Damage was mostly soot damage. I lost most of my childhood toys and my cloths. My family made jokes about me and candles for a few times after that left their scars. The fire department confirmed the boombox got overheated and blew. Probably not anything that would have hurt me, but nothing i could have prevented if i had stayed in my room. Im still iffy about candles around the home. I didn’t get punished, mom and dad figured losing most of my valuables was punishment enough.
911 story number two: I currently live in Japan. Since 2016. This past march I was having health issues which got worse and resulted in a PE in April ( pulmonary embolism ). I tried to call 119 but I couldn’t breathe to speak, so I had to text a friend. The PE was caused by a blood clot due to my birth control and I spent two weeks in the hospital recovering. 👍
Also yes I would try to help if I saw a helicopter crash.

Once because the woods between us and the house next door were on fire and once because I was 6 hours through a 10 hour overnight drive and I came to a construction roadblock. I stopped and sat for a solid 15 minutes as people lined up behind me. It is in most cases linked to car accidents but applies to any witnessed accident. If the crash site was dangerous to help them directly they should have at least call an ambulance immediately. Like wth...

The sound of a campfire is stuck in my mind. 3am I hear crackle! fire noises and woke up😬. I look across the street and a bunch of trees and bushes were on fire in front of a house. Since it was 3am I was probably not a lot of people would notice so I called. An empty building nearby had a death because a squatter set it on fire recently so I was already a bit on edge

@@EsoteriaHealingit's not just about being labeled an asshole for AA/ Black people, at least not in the US. The police are an active threat every time someone calls them and it's a decision on of it's better to call or worse to call. And that's just for *anyone* calling in the US. It's so much more precarious for a POC, especially Black people - whether they are "called on" or they call themselves for help.
Shit, remember Breonna? She was a 911 dispatcher just hanging out in her home and he was killed when police mistakenly and therefore illegally entered her home without notice and she was murdered by those LEOs she *worked* with, and that were supposed to "protect and serve".

I think the problem with the sauce story isn't that Op's boyfriend didn't make the sauce the way she wanted but the fact that he lied about doing it her way and then smugly showed that he didn't. The behavior shows a certain level of toxicity. It's not about the sauce it's about the shitty way he handled her request as if it wasn't important because he didn't think it was worth it.

I had a neighbour with a serious anger problem and I called 911 once on them. They were screaming, slamming (something?) in the walls so hard it was making my bookcases shake, screaming "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU" and etc, and I was worried that someone was being hurt, so the cops came, and after their door being buzzed a few times and them not answering (thin walls lol) I buzzed up the cops and they talked to my neighbour, and turns out they were having a complete and utter meltdown over...A VIDEO GAME.
I wish that was the only time, but they had frequent angry meltdowns over the course of two years, screaming so loud and for so long I began to refer to those times as "scream o'clock", which was fun. Eventually he moved out, which was a huge relief for me XD

I lived in hud housing in my 20s. I have a disability, most everyone esle was elderly. One day im out walking my dog, and i see a woman on the ground. He little high energy dog had pulled her down. Of course it was one of the few times i didn't have my cell. But theres always one nosey neighbor watching from there window. I yelled for yhem to call 911. I took her dogs leash so he could pull her anymore. She was able to sit up and i just waited with her until the ambulance arrived. I later found out her family had just kinda dumped her there. She really needed to be in an assisted living facility and definitely didnt need such a high engery dog. Another time, i yet avain didn't have my cell, i was in my powerchair coming home to this same apartment building. One of the tenants had been walking in the cold after dialysis to the post office and collapsed. I booked to the building managers office and told them and they handled it. She was my acriss the hall neighbor. Idk y she would try tovwalk to the post office after dialysis. Sweet woman. She had a little dog like mine who, whenever we happened to open our doors at the same time, hers would run into my apartment and great my dog. Now my dog didn't not like other dogs but for some reason tolerated Buddy. He wotukd sniff Buddy and Buddy would sniff him, get a little pet from me and run back to his apartment. One time i was going down the hall and i saw him just chilling by himself in between the double doors at the end of the hall. He ran off on her and she showed up two seconds later looking for him.

I came out of my house to see a man passed out on the street. Running over I dial 911, checking vitals and starting cpr. 911 operator comes on tells me to do as I am doing and starts counting. Now in ontario, pharmacists have to be certified in cpr and have a difibulator. I live across from one. They come out to yell across the street at the whole 120 pounds, 20 something of me trying to break this 200 pound+ man's ribs (you have to break ribs while doing cpr or you aren't pumping blood) "we already called"
I am in no mood, already screamed at a car rubber knecking; you bet your ass I'm screaming at the medical professionals for doing nothing. All while 2 little old ladies are coming to do whatever they can to help. My neighbor came to trade me off on compressions while I cleared his airway. I have no idea how long the ambulance took, but he had died in the time between the pharmacy calling and me calling.
    People's reaction time does matter.

I had to non emergency police for a stalled vehicle on the Bay Bridge on my way to San Francisco. 40 minutes later, I park my car, and I start getting my stuff out for school. A women from the fourth story window opens it, looks at me, and screams "CALL THE POLICE". She looked terrified and went back into the apartment. I immediately called 911 and continued to watch her window in case she came back. The dispatcher told me to stay there so the poice officer would know which building he needed to go into. The dispatcher hangs up and I wait a couple minutes until a single cop in his car shows up. I wave him down, he stops in the middle of the road, gets out, DRAWS HIS WEAPON, and says "WHERE?!" I say 4th story in that building. He runs into the building without saying anything else. I just stood there. I legitimately didn't know what to do, was I supposed to stay there? Do i really just walk away from a clear emergency, or do I call someone else? I finally walked to school and told my teacher why I was late to our lesson. I wish I had more of an update after my classes, but I never learned anything more.

So I have called 911 before... my mom, sisters and I were in a city a can't remember which town (road tripping) and we made a wrong turn and we ended up in a neighborhood instead of the highway and we saw a girl and guy clearly arguing. she starts walking away and he grabs her and throws her to the ground. My sister jumps out of the car before my mom could come to a complete stop gets between them and the girl runs off. Another guy comes out of the house and starts fighting with the guy so we pile back in the car drive down the road convince the girl to get in the car with us and she starts telling how to get to her aunts house. Well the guy had gotten in his car and started following us.. he cut us off, gets out and starts yelling at us to let her out.. we keep yelling we didn't have her... we finally get around him and he starts following us for like 30 minutes. So we stopped at a gas station because were almost out of gas at this point. My mom and sister get out and the rest of us stay in the car... the guy shows up and starts punching the car window so I call 911 and while I am on the phone with them another couple pulls up and sees whats going on and the lady comes up and pepper sprays him... he gets in the car and leaves after and the cops show up and they end up taking her to her aunts house.... I think about her every now and then and hope she didn't go back to him.. Maleah, I hope you found a guy that treats you right
