Fitted today, great kit. I only needed the one smaller and one larger for mine (2008 A4 B7 BPY). A bit confusing as the 3 legged looking gasket "would" fit, but it didn't have one when removed, and this video says "only for the 3.2L". Hoping it fixes my leak. The hardest part is the fiddly removal and reinstall to the car, a good test of patience lining the pump back up with the cam. Let's see! :)
Just installed your kit today and I highly recommend it to any 2007 Audi A4 owner that has a leak coming from the vacuum pump. The dealer was wanting to charge me 800 dollars for a new vacuum pump due to the oil leak. The vacuum pump works perfectly well but the problem is that there is no gasket between the vacuum pump and the engine which results in an oil leak over time. Metal on metal with no gasket. Again, thank you for your product which saved me 800 dollars!
Unfortunately here in germany it is absolutely impossible to get a resealing Kit like yours. But thank god i found you guys ! Big thank you , Kit worked super Fine !!
Hi, Just wondering why the 3.2l doesn't require the o-ring seal on the main shaft that slides into the front of the engine? it has the groove where the o-ring fits.
Audi for some odd reason won’t let me see videos on 2006 A4 3.2 Quattro oil pressure sensors nor how to replace the oil pump on the above mentioned model.
Wyatt Biker, check out the Humble Mechanic channel, TONS of good how-to’s. Just changed out the pump last week with the RKX kit. ruclips.net/video/EvfFk3ZJP6o/видео.html
If the outer seal is leaking it will usually not affect the ability of the pump to create vacuum (unless it is a huge leak). If you are having low vacuum problems it could be a failed check valve inside the vacuum pump or at the brake booster. It could also be a leak in the vacuum line. Many times the plastic hard lines will split just slightly at the ends and cause a vacuum leak.
2008 was a change over year on that model so it could possibly use 2 different kits. You can contact us at: rkxtech.com/pages/contact-us and we can help you locate the correct kit for your GTI.
Ok so i got a problem with my brakes after doing this. Brakes worked fine before fixing the oil leak from the vacuum pump but now my brake pedals gets super hard when driving at low speed under 20mph. Brakes work fine at normal speed but dont know why when baking out of the parking spot or driving in bumper to bumper traffic the brakes fail. Brakes still stop the car but the pedal gets very hard. Please let me know if u can help. No brake light or any other warning lights on the dash. Also its a 2010 audi tt 2.0tfsi.
Did this rebuild today on my 2011 Audi A6 3.0, worked great so far!! Super easy! Saved me $600 from the local mechanic, $950 from the dealer!! heres a link to how to remove ruclips.net/video/0DntHmDXUxU/видео.html

I purchased your repair kit and installed it today. No leaks whatsoever. An absolute 'no brainer'...no need to spend $hundreds$ on a new pump.
How is it after 1 year? Still no leaks?
Great kit. Simple but effective install on my MK5 GTI (w/ FSI), took 45 minutes total, and solved my oil leak and funky idle hiccup while I was at it.
How bad was your oil leak
What nm value is coorect for screw ?

Dam that pump is clean! Must be magic!
Yes movie magic! Don't want oil all over our studio.
@@RKXTECHcom thanks for accepting the humor
How is changing a seal and gasket rebuilding it?
Is a replacement check valve available? Mine failed and is allowing massive amounts of oil to be pulled into the intake.
Going to buy one of your kits for my mercedes, thanks for the video
what nm is optimal for cover screw ? I have torque wrench but don't know what NM is there needed
Does this kit help when the brake pedal is hard and the issue is confirmed vacuum pump failure (pump is hardly making vacuum)?
Does the pump need to be removed from the car? Seems it can be done without removal.?
Where can I get new paddle end caps? I can't find them. Mine look oink it might be letting oil pass by. Cheers

Hi what's the torque setting for the cover plate (x5 bolts) ?
I believe 9-10nm
What’s the difference between the oem seal(orange ) and the one you sell?

How long does it usually take for this job?
On a 2.0t in a transverse engine (Jetta , GTI) it takes about 20-30 min. The A4 2.0t takes about 30 - 50 min and the 3.2l A4 takes about 30-40 min.
@@RKXTECHcom Do you know where I can buy the kit in Europe?
Do you have video shows how to remove it from the engine? Does the blue O ring come with this? Thanks

Do you have a kit for a 2012 Beetle 2.0 turbo ?
If the outer seal gasket leaks, the vacuum pump fails? I want to know because my car is having issues with the brakes...

a code for this gasket, please
Will this fit 3.2 A5? (2008)
