I really wanted this to work, but my niece a 15 year old whom I am taking care off, got really smart (had 11/12 graders for friends) and figured out a way to bypass any apps, restrictions on phone, making these apps pretty much useless in the hands of smart kids. I had to go to the drastic measures and remove all technology from my niece, period. It's unfortunate that I had to result to this, but parents have to do what is necessary.
PS: I even had the Verizon Smart Family app in conjunction with this, and on top all of this, I set up a screen passcode on my niece's phone to enable her from downloading anymore apps. The apps on her phone is already sufficient enough for her to communicate with anyone she wants too.
Question am I able to view my child's text message conversations after they have been deleted?

Hi my mom recently got a bark phone for my little brother and I keep trying to send family vacation pics to him (he asked for the ones I took) and its not even sending?? Is there an option to select? 🤔
If its not sending then that would be something with your device -- if the pictures are sending but he isn't receiving them then that would indicate his line may not be provisioned correctly on the network side of things
Apple's screen time feature is pretty good but I'm hoping applications like this become even better as time goes on and that Apple/Google don't block their features. As a parent that grew up in the wild west of late 90's early 00's with full unrestricted access as a teenager, I seen some shit that I don't want my kids seeing.

Yes, they can. There are videos all over RUclips that kids post about how to get rid of it or prevent it from tracking things. The best way to stop this is to get the Bark Phone. it is built in so cannot be removed.

Trick for the kids dealing with this bs, if you try to sneak you’ll fail, what you need to do is get Pinterest or a similar art app then try and get access to your perants phone and make the alerts a sensitive as possible. Say you like video games or a show or something. Try and save a bunch of stuff daily. This will blow bark up with random crap ie violence for a cool sword. Your parents will get tired and never check my parents subscription ended and they never re did it.

There's nothing malicious about monitoring your kids content consumption, on your own devices you provide to them, for their own protection. Especially when you notify your kids and set expectations beforehand.
Kids need a level of privacy, unless they're a toddler. It builds trust. You could argue that the app is malicious.
This is just a safety net for children. Not for parents to stalk their children.
