Great, awesome review! I'm looking for one for my eight year old as well, but I don't want him to be on any apps or the internet. I need it so I can text or call him whenever I have to, and for his grandparents who live in another state as well. So this is great.
I just ordered my daughter one of these. But I ordered it using my email address. Do I need to update that to her address in my profile on the website?
How are the camera and video features? My son likes to create videos and so I’m trying to decide on a regular phone and just use the Bark service or this phone that includes the bark service.
On my child's bark phone, I see my email address and her name. This is on the Bark app that you go into to show that you are connected. She has been able to go in and somehow approve the contact herself. How do I fix that problem?
Another video I watched shows that you need to create a Google email address for her. So you may want to do that and then update the email address through the bark app
When you started up it will start up like a android Because it is technically a android However If you put on a notification bar you will see the notification telling you that the Bark VPN is on
Youre in luck!! That's who they use :-) "We are excited to announce the launch of our newest product, the Bark Phone, with cellular service powered by T-Mobile,” said Brian Bason, founder and CEO of Bark Technologies.Sep 7, 2023"
The payment of this phone is a minimum of $49.99 a month. That Includes the phone. But at any point is the phone "paid off" and the monthly fee goes down?
I said the same thing but the bark Phone is safe enough that I feel comfortable with him having the phone and i can track him when he is away with family and can have constant contact with him as well. Believe it or not they allow them at school so it's nice to be able to communicate.

@@Tailsmonk Uh, this is about kids not being distracted by the damn internet, not taking away things that kids enjoy. Are you saying you want the kids to be distracted all day on their phones and be zombies to their screens because it sure sounds like you are.
@@robertcampbellii9787 Well maybe that "damn internet" is something that the kids enjoy. Just because you pay taxes doesn't mean you need to take it out on the youth, ya old hag.
Lmfao, kids don't need privacy, what goes on in the world today u can never tell. When a child becomes grown enough to pay their own Bill's then they can start getting privacy. But no, I've had to deal with some 12 n 13 year olds talking about privacy when parents start doing that, it means that kids wanna do what they wanna do without getting caught.
@@aceforeclosure9556kids do need privacy along with trust and respect i understand your concerns but you should also focus on talking with them and building an honest reletionship. these apps may only worsen things and help them hide things because they feel violated and want more respect, stand by your kids not behind glaring at there every move.
What my child does, IS my business until she is grown enough to pay her own bills. That's the problem, too many parents trying to be their child's friend 😊
I’m not a child, but considering you said that, you are clearly not giving enough privacy to your kids. I am also not saying giving the full spectrum, but i am saying that you need to set boundaries for both of you to gain not only your child’s trust, but their respect. again, not the full spectrum.
well you are a bad parent for this as a kid i would hate that and woudnt use a phone and bought a phone behind your back because i dont want the be monitored by my parents
Does this phone have its own service or do I need to connect it to a service such as T-Mobile or AT&T ?

This is better than a Gabb
What about the new gang phone its way better than this 😝😎
For real bro .
awesome!! can't wait to check it out
My son loves being able to have a phone, and I love being able to always know where he is and love to always be able to reach him.
i just got the bark phone And i have one other question for you can i have the Oculus app on the bark phone
Thanks for sharing! Does this come on an iPhone?
They do have an app for iPhone

I need to know too
Samung typically uses the same camera sensors across devices so it should be almost as good as there flagships
Do you have to have a BARK phone to monitor your child bark phone?
No. You can use the parent app on your phone or the website on a pc
@@DroidModderX thank you so much I’m really excited to get this for my kido and everyone be comfortable and safe !

What is the logo when powering on after set up? Is it obvious that this is a monitored phone?
u also don't want people to know? I think the samsung logo comes on

I am speaking from personal experience as I am currently making this comment on a bark Phone
I forgot If your friend is going through your phone they can still see the bark applications
Can you use a bark phone with any service provider? We have T-Mobile
no
If you buy the full price of the phone from Bark You can set it up with a mobile provider instead of doing the plan with Bark

I’m going to buy it for my son
Why not just get a Wisephone II that has no internet browser? Then you don't have to worry about your kids having access to the internet.
And that folks, is how you get your kids to hate you.

I saw Serbian propaganda on the devices!
I understand the drive for this device but this is how parents end up into a retirement home
I feel this should only be for children learning the new world of self independence

Children are not entitled to full spectrum privacy nor should they be. You must be a child 😂
