I have tried out a ton of pistols, i will have to try it out! So far my favorite is an odd choice, Da/Sa Hk P2000 9mm. I can shoot it better than most of my pistols with optics
Ernest Langdon brought this pistol back from the dead. years ago nobody took it seriously and did not want it. Well done LTT. If I was not invested in and very happy with the CZ P07 & P09, I would check out the PX4 for sure.
Cz P07 is half the price of these new PX4’s after putting the trigger in. For a polymer hammer fired, Beretta should make it desirable under 700-800 dollars.
Nothing against CZ. I love them. I own a P07 and a P09. All I can say is this PX4 goes to the range every time I go. I haven't shot the CZ's much since getting this compact Carry PX4. I don't think you would be disappointed if you got one.
If you have huge hands. Don’t mind it being obscenely heavy, thicker than holding a brick because of that rotating barrel, not optics cut and even after you PAY for the optic cut you have to use a plate system (outdated almost as much as not being optic cut), the texture is non existent so you have to add aftermarket adhesive grips making it EVEN MORE BLOCKY. Yeah. Mhmm. Perfect for carry. I have. 5.3” barrel comp’d shadow systems that’s 21oz, direct to slide mount optics, great texture, good trigger (I said good) takes Glock mags that are everywhere in every capacity and is pretty slim and trim unlike the beretta brick. Hey there’s the new name for the unchanged Px4 when beretta releases the same one again as a gen3. The beretta brick. Yea I bought an ltt version in 2022. Was what I thought was my dream carry gun. I sent it back. It was dogshit.
I've owned and carried a full size PX4 a few years back. I had around 2000 rounds through it and I've never ever had ANY malfunction of any kind. Also, it was the most accurate pistol I have shot, especially when doing fast follow up shots. 17+1 just made one huge hole in the center of the paper target. I sold it only because I really hate the inverted safety lever - up shoot, down safe. Could not get it disengaged without altering my firing grip. Other than that, PX4 IMO is an underrated masterpiece of a handgun.
I got the Baretta APX A1. Flawless, reliable and love shooting it. My big hands don't like small pistols. I gotta have full size, with the larger back strap on it.
I've had mine about a week, about 300 rounds through it. I did buy and install the Beretta Skeletonized trigger, didn't care for the bobbed one. It shoots great, has almost cured my accuracy shortcomings. It's now my EDC, and probably the last pistol I will buy for my collection. Nice video review!
The PX4 Compact is my EDC. I am absolutely enchanted with the Full Size (4 inch barrel). BUT, I decided to stay with the Compact primarily because of concealability concerns. Great review 😎
Finally back into production with nice new features. Begin to see them on the shelves. They are now on the shelves and I’m sure will be picked up by Beretta lovers. I myself am looking forward to picking up fresh used Models that will be traded out for the new one. Those will come in at an excellent value For a price of around 400. Thank you Beretta I love them all
Great video and beautiful gun.. I had the opportunity to get a PX4 or 8040 cougar.. I went with the cougar being that I carried one for 6 years and the option of .357sig barrel.. still a beautiful gun
After a lot of research, this was my first handgun purchase. No regrets! I'm a lefty and the slide lock is a little tricky at first as it's not ambi, but I got used to it pretty quickly.
Hands down, my favorite pistol to shoot. My only gripe is that it's a little chunky to carry AIWB comfortably. But there are people who can pull it off.
I would like to note that the pistol is approximately the same size as a Glock 19. So there's no difference in weight than other compacts comparatively.
I will not load and attach a handgun to my body UNLESS it is a DA/SA or DAO _hammer fired_ handgun (semi-auto or revolver). I prefer a DAO hammer fired with no manual safety (and no need for a hammer drop) but a DA/SA with hammer drop only (such as this G model) is fine.
It’s the EXACT SAME ltt colab factory Px4 storm compact I returned 2 years ago. Nothings different. It’s all the same that was on the collaboration LTT model from 2,3,4 years ago. Just relaunched with a new 2.0 name.
Is this a serious question lol I mean come on think about it. How much does 50k rounds of 9mm ammo cost. If you can afford that much ammo you can buy a couple PX4 CC LOL
@@chrisragone8785 I agree with that point 11 times out of 10. However the claim is out there. Prove it or don’t claim it. It’s a unique barrel. Maybe beretta will keep the heavy profile 9mm barrel available? I don’t know. What I’m saying is 50k on the rest of the gun is all serviceable it would be a shame to not be able to just replace a barrel and keep going. Even if you do have another spare complete gun.
Yes but unless you're staging the trigger into single action there's no need to be able to cock back manually. The Double action is so good on these (mines super smooth 6lb) it's all but unessacarry.
The hammer spur is the part of the hammer which protrudes to be manually cocked, if desired. Since these guns are designed for concealed carry and close range self defense, removing the hammer spur ("Bobbing" the hammer) eliminates a protrusion that can snag on clothing and single action fire is not usually desired for close range self defense. So the "spur" is not "the hammer", it is part of the hammer. It has no function in _firing_ the handgun and no function for double action firing. In a concealed carry handgun, the hammer spur can be more of a liability than a benefit.
I bought one directly from LTT and it’s a beast. Out of my favorites, 229 Legion, P-01, 19X the LTT PX4 is my favorite.

@@peterreily1490 Easily the best shooting gun on the market. But I guess it's not for everyone. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

STOP MAKING ME WANT TO BUY MORE HANDGUNS LOL
Yeah PX4 Storm creeping up higher and higher on my wish list
You won't regret it. My top 2 favorite handguns and I got a whole safe of them are the PX4 Storm Full size G-SD and the PX4 Storm Compact Carry.
What timing for a video. Building out a PX4 know that I found at Cabelas 2 weeks ago for $300...😁
Great pistol but Beretta needs to add texture to the grip area of the frame of the PX4.
Hands down, my favorite pistol to shoot. My only gripe is that it's a little chunky to carry AIWB comfortably. But there are people who can pull it off.
Picked up a used Compact Carry recently, I had the older compact a few years ago. I'll probably be sending mine to LTT.
You have to give it up for the PX4...
Since i saw the fiest px4 i always wanted one, i loved it, and this is great to have alongside the og model. Screw the uk gun laws.
Great review 👍 awesome firearm
All those upgrades, but they kept the plastic trigger? I’m sure it works fine, but I prefer metal triggers. Feels less cheap.
Weighs 3.5oz more than a Glock 19 and you consider that heavy?
Is there enough hammer that you could manually pull it back to single action if you wanted to
I would like to note that the pistol is approximately the same size as a Glock 19. So there's no difference in weight than other compacts comparatively.
Hmmm my PX4 compact is significantly thicker and heavier ….

The only downside is now you have an extremely rare slide and barrel. Some people train a lot. What happens when you shoot out a barrel?
These guns can go 50,000 rounds with no parts breakage according to earnest Langdon.
Cool tell him to post a video of how a px4barrel groups after 50,000 rds

What is the best round.. my CC hates 147 hst
124
What does it hate about it? Is it unreliable and/or inaccurate with 147 HST I’ve never had any issues with it.
