Not sure if it's still possible but I used to main Annie and got her to a point where if Tibbers didn't die I could have him up 100% of the time. It was wild.

Damn, remember when 40% CD was the max you could get (45% with a certain rune)? And also how Riot said that converting cd % to ability haste wouldn't impact the overall cooldown reduction champs would have?
You could still get 70% ult cdr with ultimate hunter at it's peak moment before it was nerfed.
The problem is not the conversion from cd % to haste. The problem is that every item has haste now.

Me: THE AGE OF KASSADIN HAS DAWNED (without item its 5s. With malignance first its 3.2s. Build a bit more AH like seraphs and you can get the maximum ult CD down to an eyewatering 0.8-0.7s. While still having 1.1k AP and oneshotting everything while being able to teleport around the rift like a crazy rubberball someone shot out of a tank cannon

Yeah I've been doing this on ARAM for a long time now with Lux. Ult Lasers on a 14 second cooldown down a narrow hallway with maligma circles as wide as the lane are really healthy for the game.

Malignance would be way more balanced if the Ult cd reduction amount scaled with base Cd value. Higher the cd, the higher the reduction. Spammy ults get basically no benefit. EZ

Honestly the magic resist reduction and burning pool damage is what the item should be focused on. It's a fun item to think about building on people like Swain, or Vel'Koz. Does it really need the ultimate cool down too? It feels like an unnecessary addition just thrown in to make it stronger. Take away the CDR portion and focus on the magic resist shredding side of it.
I thoroughly love this item on Karma, Ahri, and Viktor :)

The problem of lux is her spells are very easy to dodge after you have tier 2 boots, so her base spells have to be extremely strong and her ult has to have a very low cooldown.
you must be playing against iron lux players, cause i guarantee you that a good lux is never going to miss her E, and that is pretty much what it takes to 100-0 you. Not to mention team fights, where she could potentially use her ult Twice and it's a game winner if lined up correctly

@@Krimo unironically facing lux midlane as anything other than fizz is pure cancer, it feels like you cannot farm regardless if you are under tower or not, it feels like you are playing a bullet hell game and not to mention the fact that melee champions other than zed or yasuo will want to GP Q themselfs after the game

That's actually not what grinds my gears. But the fact that Lux, aside from the short ulti CD, also got the Passive damage procc AND one of the strongest ultis in the game ON the lowest cooldown in the game. Ezreal and Jinx at least got Travel time on their World range ultimates
Well, cait lethality R with 2000 damage to squishies on 25s cooldown got fixed after 2 years, so with lux it should approximately take until the end of time
