You can bitch and whine about "waaaah, smurfing for content" but if you want to watch content where players try amusing or challenging builds and are able to keep up a running and engaging commentary throughout the whole thing then of course they're not going to be playing at their limit because they need to focus on the content. If you want to watch some super boring high elo play, feel free. I'll give you the breakdown, they all farm for the first ten minutes, then one team or the other will get three kills, and the team without kills FFs at 20 mins. There you go.

I'd contend that league isn't a pay to win game because you don't need all the champions, nor even most of them. You need 2, maybe 3 champions you're good at to climb to nearly any rank-and the only reason I say even that many is in case you get banned out or they pick a hard counter into your primary champion. Saying you need to unlock all the champions is strictly untrue. (please note this is NOT me saying league is a good game, just that it's not a p2w game)
This is why I've taken to visiting league like a zoo. I'll show up for a couple hours to watch animals be animals behind glass where I can be safe and go back having enjoyed myself.
I just want a casual mode that's permanent. ARAM is cool, but it's not it. Riot fucking hates casual players, hyped us up thinking nexus blitz would be permanent. Put so much work into arena only to take it away, etc.
