Full Flight: Delta Air Lines A350-900 Seattle to Atlanta (SEA-ATL)

- Hey guys! Time for a full flight special. In this video, I fly aboard a Delta Air Lines A350-900 for the first time along with a bunch of aviation enthusiasts from around the country. It also just so happened to be the captain's retirement flight so what would've been an ordinary flight had a ton of different things to go along with it. I truly enjoyed this flight down to Atlanta from Seattle as the A350 is a remarkably smooth, quiet, and graceful airplane. Delta has their best hard product on these birds as they're now the flagship of the airline and it is 95% really good. The only hiccup I'd mention is the Economy seats...specifically the upper half of them. Is it just me or do they look a bit strange? Other than that, I really enjoyed flying with a bunch of folks just like me and enjoyed all the festivities and announcements surrounding the captain's retirement. A full list of everyone on the flight can be found at the end of this video on the end screen and links are below. Hope you guys enjoy!

I absolutely love how you along with several other aviation enthusiasts joined together like one big family. You are all so amazing.
enthusiasts
I haven’t even watched it yet but I know it’s going to be another amazing video!
amen
You know it is amazing if it is made by thejazzguy13 Aviation.
Yessir
@@crazycoollady You’ve got that right =D
awesome video! out of all those avgeeks filming you're still by far my favorite!
Awesome video! Congrats to the Captain on his retirement. You can tell he’s a really cool dude. And way cool they let you you sit in the cockpit!✈️
Love the cookie “fly by!”..........
There is never anything dull about catching a domestic widebody these days! I remember seeing you all featured in Matt Cochran’s spotting video a while back when he captured your arrival
I was not feeling good today but your video helped thank you, keep on flying😁✈️🛫🛬
when driving and flying from Seattle to Atlanta you would pass through Rapid City, Omaha, St Louis, and Nashville
Thanks for another awesome video! I love the variety of screen shots and appreciate your leaving the in-video comments on the screen for a sufficient amount of time so I can actually read them. In many other videos, I've seen the comments flash by so quickly that they're practically unreadable. Your channel is one of my aviation favorites.
Thanks a lot mate! I appreciate it 🤙🏻
It took me a few weeks to watch it! One of your best reports. Not had then op to fly on this beautiful. Hopefully soon! Amazing video, mate!!!!
Thejazzguy13 aviation, thanks for sharing your video about flying Delta Airlines flight nonstop service from Seattle to Atlanta!
Fantastic trip report! A350 is definitely an excellent aircraft. The cookie was cute. Your wing view was perfect. This flight looked fun with many AvGeeks onboard
excellent
Thank you so much for the upload, truly amazing 🤩
I love all your travel videos. Very fun and informative.✈️
Great video, keep up the good work!
Amazing E Flat Pitched Motor!! Love A350's WXB sooo much!! You can even barely hear it from the Economy seating area!!
yessir! what a great flight!!
A350!!💪🏽💪🏽 great video as always! Greetings from Puerto Rico!
Im puertorican Too
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing!
this has to be by far one of my favorite vids from ur channel as of now! :)
Great video man. Retirement flight for a Captain, pretty special flight. Keep up the good work.
These types of videos really make my day. So far I've only traveled on jetblue, Spirit and AA.. Can't wait to travel delta!
Me too 😊
I've traveled on JetBlue, Southwest, Delta, Spirit, AA, and ya that's it lol
I’ve flown on US Airways, AA, Spirit, and Southwest. I so badly want to fly Delta and Jetblue!
P.S. My first AA flight was on the “Mad dog” MD-80 :)
I’ve been on united, southwest, probably American and delta. I can’t remember
I was thinking.....the flight left Seattle at 10:30 a.m. and arrived at 5:42 pm.....that is an incredibly Long flight across America...but then I factored in the time zones......Love the sports chant on the gang way....incredible videos....flight blogs with some added fun and excitement..... been following you since pre covid and your channel has the best updates on the changing times and what to expect when traveling by air and the air transport industry....keep up the incredible work
Another great video! It's sad that a captain is retiring. This is a very interesting aircraft although I like 737's better. Can't wait to see what is next!
Beautifully done and edited video
I WILL TRY THIS ARLINE IN THE FUTURE because DELTA LOOKS AMAZINING
You know it’s a good day when Thejazzguy13 Aviation uploads a video to RUclips.
this was such a great flight !!
Great episode
Very nice!
so cool view
nice trip friend, safe flight
I love it
Keep up the great work
Nice video! I’m going from Tulsa to Dallas then Dallas to Orlando this summer on southwest!
the a350 is one of my favorite aircraft and I have flown on it 2 time from atl-paris and back but looking forward to fly the 787 nice videos
Howdy, awesome video as always Chris, and wow, this looked like an amazing experience and I wish the captain on board a great time at retirement! Also, on the subject of snack bags, two Delta FAs and one Endeavor FA I had on flights a few weeks ago said they hate the snack bags because it just feels cruel. Also, yes, I can’t put my finger on it but those are definitely some pretty wacky tops on the economy seats!😸😸
Hey Life's Ups and Downs!
@@BluegrassElevators howdy
Great video as always! On a side note, the economy seats have memory foam imbedded into the cushion so I don’t see how they would not be that comfortable.
I love Seattle airport it's so nice!
Wow 2 of my favorite citys , nice of seattle to make cookies for the flight
Feels like I’m travelling on these planes when I’m at work whatching this , great work and detail, hope Australia opens up to Canada soon need to get bac to Tim hortons YVR
Superstar Captain Ted :)
An A350 on a cross country domestic flight...nice score.
Damn bro that was fun... it was nice meeting you!
You as well Maliq! Gotta do this again sometime 👍🏻
I flew on this route before but on a Delta 757 red eye flight on my way to Miami with connection in Atlanta. Departed Seattle at 11:00 PM arrived in Atlanta around 7:00 am two hours layover then departed Atlanta around 9:00 am arriving Miami around 11:00 am was very tired LoL 😂
2 years ago i flew from Seattle to Atlanta on delta 737-900 had a great ✈️
Just watched this video because my upcoming Delta flight was just upgraded from an A321 to an A350! :D
Yesss. Delta is that best
So cool you got to fly over STL. You could probably see my house if you looked close enough
I love Delta airlines
How’s the cockpit? I think it’s incredible how they let people go in and check the inside out! Great video!
I love delta airlines
the E concourse also has International flights at ATL
27:33 Weather Channel building down there.
A 350 for a domestic flight! Great opportunity for you to check out this great aircraft. I saw in America they will increase the number of flights. In Germany the cut down the number of flights. Unfortunately they'll cut down all flight from Frankfurt with the A 380 due to the pandemic. Lufthansa will retire more than the half of the A380 fleet. It's a pity to lose such a superb aircraft. Greetings from Germany. 🙂
Big plane!
Great one. Think I saw qfs aviation
Avgeek Futbol Club 😂 lovin’ your dry sense of humor,
At 26:42, as you may not know, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Lawrenceville, Gainesville, Buford, and Loganville are all part of the Greater Atlanta area
Does anyone else agree, the group photo at the end topped everything off #GreatWork #I❤Aviation #HappyFaces
How do you find out about the special events? Seems pretty cool wish I could catch a flight during one
Great video!!! I'll bet everyone on that flight was looking for food after arriving in Atlanta!!!! Were you able to purchase extra food if you were starving?? How was Seattle?? Delta is a great airline !!! Hope to fly them on our next trip
Nice scenery at 21:57. :)
What a treat! Do most jetliners start to descend over Nashville when going to ATL from that direction?
Seattle to Hub flights are always packed! Day or night, regardless of airline
Lol you are right. I never flew out of Seattle without a packed plane. Even at 11 pm. Alaska, southwest or delta.. doesn’t matter.
Awesome Video Bud. Just a suggestion though. When I used to travel on Delta or any other Airlines I’d always by some Sub’s @ Subway & pack them into my carryon that goes under the seat that way all the Flight Attendant’s had to do was provide the Drink Service because by buying Subway Sandwhich’s I always had an Inflight Meal & it didn’t cost me or the Airline anything. Again it’s just a suggestion.
Smurflily: I had to go to Atlanta gerogia
Mike: Okay. Just go to Atlanta Georgia.
Smurflily: Good luck winninh the tournament.
the only thing i love more than flying...jazz
Woahhhh! A350 Domestic in THE US
I have to start finding these domestic wide body routes.
Hey!! I live on Star Lake! 😂😂😂 Wasn't expecting to see my house from your video. If you ever get a chance, stop at the Star Lake Inn for a drink. Let me know when you do and I will buy you a cold one!
Love your videos bro... was curious.. are you originally from seattle?? 😊
If you want to drive from Atlanta to Seattle you would have to drive right east of Omaha through Council Bluffs, Iowa
on transcon flights or any flight that goes over the Mississippi River, you would know you were flying over it due to the large body of water and river barges up along the Mississippi River
I was wondering why you didn't take the opportunity to hop in the empty first car of the Tram.. but then I think I understood why you may have chose not to... capturing the ride from that different angle was pretty interesting
Hi, I enjoy your full flight videos. I live in Atlanta. I love to fly but can’t afford it and can’t breathe very well with mask on due to my disability.
11:22 nice transition
Can you do a flight to Greenville SC It’s a nice airport I flown in a couple times love your videos man.
The A 350 is one step ahead of the 787. It's larger and quiter. It flies further. You can dim your windows whenever YOU want.
Decently sized plane for that short of a flight
American Airlines is launching a new route out of OMA to New York LaGuardia which is a competition route with Delta to LaGuardia, also United flies into Newark but no flights to JFK
hi love your vids can you do a ryan air i like low budget airlines
At least Delta Air Lines has finally brought back full food and drink service!!!
where was full food? chips and some bars _ now calling full food? i feel sorry for you...
@@alex113691 April they brought it back this was filmed in September 2020
Water salutes happen when you're on a retiring aircraft, incoming new aircraft to the airport and when a pilot is retiring
I'll be flying a Delta A350-900 next month from DTW-LAX. It's kind of funny. My full trip from PHL-LAX has me on a E175 from PHL-DTW, and an A350 from DTW-LAX. From little plane to big plane (which is a first for me).
Nice videos bro u should do a Trip report from JFK - SJU with the B739 Delta it would be cool
Airbus makes the best airplanes of the world
@thejazzguy13aviation From Seattle, personally i love the S gates and intl travel what makes you think there so bad? Also you know why this plane was leaving from the international terminal?
Amazing that you're all here before the onslaught of Michael Sharp comments!

@@abshivkumar2549 lol
@Mohamed Imran I use it whenever I travel domestic in american
What app do you use for the digital boarding pass
Also didn’t know that Delta One was an option on this route
What is longest flight in the Continental US?
Between Seattle and Miami (currently on AA only), followed by Seattle-Fort Lauderdale (currently on Alaska only). MIA and FLL are in the same market so occasionally the actual flying times are equal.

Captain Ted!
22:17 Omaha Nebraska my hometown I wish it was a sunny day then you would see Omaha and possibly me waving at you below the ground
I don’t know why they only give water! They can just use bottled sodas as well. If they want to take advantage of me when I fly, I can take advantage as well by hiding my own snack without getting caught and hid a soda that I can get from a vending machine if there’s one
would like to meet you someday in the future
I have wondered why did Delta ditch the 777 for transcon flights but keep the 767? Wouldn't the 777 be more fuel efficient?
How many hours will flying
Seattle to Atlanta
I have never seen a domestic a 350-900!
Does Atlanta have a flight to Seattle from there on delta
