I have a 1.0 I believe (mfd 2001) I replaced the rubber band in the disc drive to get rid of the flashing yellow light. But I still get no video or audio.

Its possible you have either a capacitor issue or its in a coma. I'd start with caps first.

You put IPA in your ultrasonic cleaner? Just straight up 99 or mixed with something?

99% IPA. I know others have had warnings on it being combustible, but I've not had issues. That said, I'm not responsible if something happens ;)

Preach. I would assume as long as it’s well enough ventilated it would be ok. Cheaper than flux remover and DI water too

my og xbox v1.6 it has sound but no display ,did u know how to solve it ?

It could be a few things.
AV port needs a clean
Incorrect region
capacitors failing
AV cable is faulty

@@RetroRenegadeRepairs av cable works fine on other og Xbox,I done recap all 3300uf &1500uf ,I have both pal & NTSC tv ,Ive done cleaning av port both on console & av cable using alcohol but still no display & just sound :(

@@dx-gameplay396 Its possible the can caps near the AV port are needing replacement. Try leaving the console on for an hour and see if picture shows up.

quick question, new sub here =D so I can put xblast on a disc as an iso with an.xbe to flash my Aladdin XT or will it come flashed already? I used to softmod these units all the time back when using mechassault and the exploit with memory card, Used to use evox and unleash X ,,, now everything is different seems much easier to hard mod and im doing this to my 1.3 just waiting on ram chips and Aladdin xt chip

The Aladdin XT comes flashed already, but the clones can not be reflashed due to the bios chips used. You'll need to manually flash it with a programmer and use a bios that supports the 128MB RAM mod.
