Quick suggestions: I find that around my community that isn't much playing PvP that they'll give a real try only if they have up to the rank 5 IVs to build them up. As sometimes the IVs you share aren't always showing what's the "IVs rank", and I think that a lot of players thinks the same regarding the IVs before building. So maybe showing that you can win matches even with "IV rank 200" (or better/worse) happen and that the IVs rank shouldn't totally stop them from playing PvP. Following that, the other suggestion would be at the start of the video share the PvPoke ranking of the pokemons, to show that's it's mostly about team building (as you made good videos about that, and it's been one especially on the building, but often forgotten), not only "up to rank 20" and that right combination might work.
It is more complicated than that… 1st practice makes perfect on that note Dan participated in a local ( just for say) organize play something like Silph Rosd was in the day… that helps with knowing matches and energy balance! As IVs goes ranking do not do much many mons have break points either on attack or def am they are way far from ranking 1-20 or even 100! Most content creators show their IVs you just have to do your homework am check the rank yourself! Am the end remember that this videos are showcases, that they will show winning amazing games for the most part am trying to cover every possible scenario possible so others can play that team!
@@ssj2trunks103 I play some PvP, even with "bad IVs ranks", or let's just say not the top ones, but I see often local players that don't, and say it's because they don't have the perfect IVs ones, while they could have fun with "bad IVs ones". It's more to encourage players to play in PvP.

Part of the Sweet 16 here 🤣 Great content as always! I’ve had an uncommon amount of success with Pidgeot (lead) Dewgong, and Carbink so far. As much as it has worked for me, I would love to see what you could do with that combo.
I just submitted 2 sets for you to review. I was running a triple shadow team. Quick backstory, I tanked from 2790 all the way to 2200s when remix first came out because I just couldn’t figure things out using the meta Pokémons. With this team I was able to get back up to 2660 where I’m at now after 3 days of playing. I definitely had some luck because it’s triple weak to fire and only saw a few fire Pokémons yesterday and much more today sadly. Also I personally love the commentary. It’s nice hearing someone keep it honest with the acceptability of xl or legendary mons. I was fortunate enough to get a hundo mewtwo and rayquaza (not enough xl candy) but aside from that I got no hundo legendaries. At least in ultra league I can put rare candies into the legendaries. I’m also a recent pvp guy so in general I don’t have pvp mons. Only started learning more about the game from your channel along other pvp guys 2 seasons ago.
I find your videos very helpful and educational, but if I'm being honest, the best part is when you start going off topic. Your rants are especially fun. I always watch till the end.

The team I’m trying out (and enjoying so far) is Shadow Hypno (with ice and thunder punch), Sableye and Mandibuzz. Hypno is very flexible and threatens a lot of the meta with it’s charged moves. I will give the disclaimer that I’m at a 2200 ELO so it may not work as well at yours.
I really try to stay for the Hidden Track at the end of the video. Your teams are pretty balanced and fun. But your off topic conversations are the best. Also, please comment fuys. It helps Dan's algo.

I wonder what this video's graph will look like, and how many people saw the comments about there being something at the end and clicked forward to the end. I also wonder whether you think reaching legend has much to do with the sheer number of battles played. Move timing and energy management are often cited as things you need to practice to have a chance of climbing, but you're hitting legend and seemingly not caring.

I literally watched the video and then commented my criticism. You have the XL candy for a groudon. You could max that if you wanted. You have a hundo Palkia. You could max that if you wanted. I'm sorry you're so upset, Dan. It's not my fault you don't use the resources. Your Groudon is 46.5 so you need 131 rare XL candies. You have 153. Your Palkia is level 45 so you need 178 rare XL to max out, you have 21 plus the 153 rare XL candy means you could max it out if you wanted. You also have a 15-14-15 excadrill and a 15-15-14 Gyarados, so you don't need to only filter by hundos. I'm older than you and grind my butt off as a free to play player. I have kids too, but I don't even have half of what you have, yet all you do is complain (until you put out a video the next day about how well your team does)

But I dont get what these two are on about, I played Pokémon go for 1 year and five days and I am sick of the candy grind for Pokémon and stale meta. I don't even play Ultra League let alone Master leauge, because I don't have the candys to lvl Pokémon up. The worst thing is that this is the case for great league as well. Medi, Sableye, Lickitung all require xl candys which are gatekept from player until lvl 30? I still need about 50 xl candys for a hecking azu. Thats really sad considering that this is the entry lvl league and i didnt even start on shadow or legendary pokemon.
I cant compete in master league but i still occasionally rip a couple matches why not ? I actually win a few of them also even though mu salamence and metagross are only at 3600 cp. and i totally rofled a shadow mew 2 with my ttar lol

Dragalge has been absolutely wrecking the meta for me. Risen about 400 ELO in GLR with Ape-Dragalge-Shador Feraligator
