Niantic has so many things to fix if the listen to the comunity and make the game easy for rural players sometimes players dont have much poke stops if they fix the issues many people will quit spoofing
Some might stop it, but... I don't think it will kill spoofing entirely. You have to ask yourself why people are spoofing? And some just spoof to play without having to go in real world, to catch pokemon in other countries, events, move faster without a car, disabled, get an edge (aka cheat), etc. Now, Niantic took bold decision recently that somehow killed a lot of paying actions (aka with remote pass) and I feel it had a lot of effect on all players as it killed a lot of interaction related to raid, external help (if you are 1-3 players, you might have difficulty to do some raid without external help and since less people will pay over-price + I think a limit... well do the maths... and I can say I observed this in a couple of raid groups + heard it was the case in a lot of others... I can only image the amount of players that used to pay 20-30$ a month and have lowered or don't pay at all following that decision).
I am annoyed with Niantic They make great games and I would love to play them fully but being a cripple I cant go walking since my bottom half doesnt work. I went from playing a lot to becoming unable to leave or drive or walk due to medical complications and now even with MH Now I love it but hate it cause I cant even get to enjoy the damn game.
@@Champ7RBLXTrue. Since in a somewhat rural area, look up Luderitz, Namibia, but with other players so casual they're basically not playing, the remote raids were so helpful. But with that price increase, I can't afford them anymore. Plus all the other crap like increasing the spawn distance from 40 to 80 meters only to remove that saying it was a bug, I quit months ago.
well the only reason they don’t like spoofers is because of remote raid passes (which you can buy for money). If more people spoof then less people buy them.
If Niantic can tell so well when someone is using a modified app or not, then why have they banned people incorrectly in the past and had to reverse strikes/bans?
Almost every gym in my city in New Zealand has, for many years now, been dominated by spoofers from the US and South America. You can't easily earn free coins when even the most remote nearby gyms are constantly knocked over and farmed by spoofers. It makes actually walking to locations feel absolutely pointless, when any gym you knock out is flipped back in minutes by people who aren't physically present and can just "follow" you about undoing all your work. It really does remove a huge amount of the fun from the game for me. I don't think it's likely possible to ban casual spoofers, but it is super, super, super, super depressing and demotivating to be completely surrounded by them when you're playing legit.

Not gonna lie, I love my account from 2016 but its just impossible to play without spoofing where I live, I tried so hard, but today with the xerneas raid I just failed and spoofed, did 2 raids and insta quitted because I'm affraid of getting banned, niantic should just release a spoof that have some kind of limit Idk
I must admit although i dislike spoofing you are a great honest youtuber thats fully upfront about things. I know this as i used to spoof a lot once i realised the game was ruined with spoofers which is why im so against spoofing now :) cheers for being honest about what works and what doesnt.
How exactly did some random person collecting Pokémon in an essentially single player gaming experience affect your experience at all, let alone “ruin” the game?

I'm playing on 3 accounts, 4 if you count the one I'm levelling for my step-son. But there have been days I've spent all day logged in on my main account. I'd be playing for several hours on comm day for example and then walk my legendaries for candies. So yeah, I have definitely played intensively on my main without any sign of bans. I'm level 49 by the way.

I have never spoofer a day in my life. I'm a legit player play by the rules of how niantic wants to me play there stupid game. I don't have the luxury to travel to the world go to different countries or continents for a video game that i shouldn't have to. I don't mind it because I've been playing since 2020 and I still can't complete my pokedex because I don't travel around the world. So if my spoofer friends Wana trade Me something I need or or don't have I appreciate it tremendously cause I'll never be able to go to Australia or Europe Japan Egypt New Zealand South America Asia. Now if they made it fair and switch spawns once in awhile or change some spawn around and brought regionals I wouldn't have to rely on my spoofing friends.
What’s playing on the screen doesn’t look like casual spoofing. My view of cas spoof is going to high traffic areas and joystick walking and catching Pokemon myself without any auto stuff
I get why folks spoof especially if you live in a super rural area. However, when you have people spoofing to exact locations to pick up shundos, maxing out pokemon much faster than normal and raid local when it should be remote is cheating cause your acquiring pokemon you wouldn't have gotten by normal means.
But unless that person participates in PVP content, which most don’t, what exactly does that do to your experience? Collecting Pokémon for your own enjoyment does nothing to someone’s experience if they choose to play legit.
I'd consider myself a casual spoofer. I got a permanent ban in '17 when they first went after everyone hard. Stopped playing the game till about last year then started spoofing again, only really did it for help with 5 star raids as I live in a small town and no help. Hadn't spoofed since winter started as kids were busy with sports so I was lost when I couldn't load 3rd party apps anymore
But why? Because it's against their TOS, that's why. Not saying I'm against spoofing, but there should be no shock if you get banned for doing it. I think the solution is for Niantic to implement features that incentivize spoofers to not spoof.
Imo raids should NOT require 16 to 20 players to be able to be completed. As a requisite for beating a boss, that is and sounds insane... Niantic should make it for the raid bosses to have a scaling difficulty to match the amount of players who join a raid, but thats it. I dont understand why they will not let me farm a legendary pokemon on my own if i can. Since in the city where i live not many people seem to play the game anymore and the ones who do only use gyms to put their pokemons but will never use the free daily raid passes because these cannot be used remotely
So they either change raids to let solo players do their way or start giving 1 free remote raid pass every day of the year, thay way people from all arround the city can gather arround and do these 5 star raids togheter from wherever they are. Right now with daily raid passes only letting us join if we are in proximity is so fkng dumb and is not working. But all they care is selling. Guess what? NO ONE in my entire city of arround 3M of people are buying their god damned remote passes either cuz they are not joining for raids when i host one. And no one else in my entire country seems to be supporting this game cuz they dont seem to care for thor world country players anyways. So yeah, very wise of Niantic for the way the implement their raids and special events. I hope the whale from the 1st world countrys are spending enough money on the game for those who cannot afford it and keep their game runing
I had someone spoof for me 2x on 2 different times one about 1 week ago and the other about 2 weeks ago And got a 7 day ban Would this be only for 1x spoofing and later if they catch the 2nd time I get a 2nd ban or would it be a ban in general for the 2

welp, just first looked at spoofing because i cant sleep at night and i have moved to a place where its not safe to walk around at night, rip this timing i guess hahaha
I spoofed to do gym raids. Everyone drive the 30min to the nearest city and hope there enough people around. Now stops and gyms no longer show up so for me it's now it works as an offline game that needs internet.
I created my main account on 7/15/16. Oldest alt 8/11/16. I would delete my 3 alt accounts if my main were banned for any reason. I've lived in a small town for 90% of my life since pogo launched. I consider spoofing for how trash Niantic makes us feel.

I just got hit with the ban wave 1st offense. I was just catching, occasionally raid , never maxed out gym badges and kick other players spoofed for trades. now I'll play legit and transfer my shinys to the switch games. Only reasons I choose to spoof Niantic said oh well on my 2ed Shadow Mewtwo I was supposed to get but the game crashed. Spending 40$ to get a shiny regional that's my favorite mon just to not get a shiny. my local friends don't trade with me so to get more powerful and to get what I was after and to make Niantic pay the price I resorted to spoofing. I didn't get caught for 2 years...! totally worth it.
I used to spoof until 2016. I play Pokémon go off and on every couple of months and this is the first time I got banned. Made a new account, made it to level 30 in 6 hrs, app crashed. Open app and says we have detected activity on your account. Funny how they actually think spoofers will play legitely and not just quit and stop spending money on their game. Because they will. 😂

@@rom5457 yeah, this one spoofer lives in town. My gf n I went out around midnight to take over blue gyms (all gyms are blue in this town except for 2) and not even 5min later they were back to blue. Only a 100 or so people play PoGo here and we were the only ones out minus the crackheads which I doubt play the game.
I am ok if they stop giving the walking progress then I am ok but if they ban me I will stop playing pokemon go for rest of my life. I can't walk all day or go to other cities I have life I should study or do something that will return me with value. couple of months ago lots here were banned even though they stopped spoofing and went legit--- their accounts were put on the list and something,--- to much walking, catching,idk triggered a perm ban---i think most were around feb/march/ first you get a 7-day strike.......then a 30 day......then a perm ban......its to stop or get banned but 2023 I've heard from many on youtube that did stop and now are banned so that's what he means by a matter of time-----pgsharp was safe but now they can tell logging in...not even teleporting....
@timothymayer3000 I use pg sharp for android. Be mindful of the cool down timer is the most important thing to follow. I also don't bounce around from place to place, which would alert niantic that this account is everywhere too often.
I played legit during the first year of PoGo and got banned. I remember that I was using my Galaxy Note at that time. All the gas I paid for... Lol. Bro. I always spoof to NYC to get my daily raid passes and use them to do my raids there. I do not do raids in my city because where i live NO ONE, LITERALLY no one ever joins for raids no matter what time of the day it is or wich place/gym you go... So i am basically forced to use 3rd party software to get Legendarys from raids somewhere else because my city is not the right place for it and i cant afford to travel or move to another country just to play my game.

Gyms are dumb and who cares? I do, when I get dressed, take the elevator 12 floors up and down, walk out in the rain to take over a gym, only to have a spoofer immediately take it back. Other than that, I agree.

@@fruityjeezus You can find cheap android phones either at garage sales or auction sites. I'm using my old Moto G7 which you can find used online for like $30-$70. Just make sure whatever phone you choose can actually be rooted, so something like a Galaxy S8 would not work. But once you have one it should be easy enough to follow a guide to get it rooted and set up. Spoofing without android or root won't be possible anymore so it's the only way.
Pretty sure I was banned for almost a year after using PG sharp to be in tokyo. The game wouldn't let me log in. Just kept saying wrong password or email. I tried to log in this weekend and immediately I was in with most of my Pokemon and gifts from Japan. I got 12 shiny grubbins from the event last weekend

Spoofed for the first time for 2-3 hours no sniping no teleporting no nothing was playing near my place where I usually play. Speed was under 10km/hr still got a 7 day strike. ( iPogo )

Casual spoofer here. Started spoofing on 2020 but quit playing in 2021. Decided to randomly get back into it a week ago. Started using pgsharp again and my acc was still there. No idea if i ever got a strike but havnt had one so far. I dont do crazy stuff like shundo sniping i just play in new york for the density of pokestops and raids. I leave peopls gyms alone aswell. I just like collecting the pokemon and live in a rural area making it annoying to play legit. If they ban me for that ohwell. Just wont play their game or give them money for raid passes anymore🤷♂️ dont see the big problem in what i do honestly. I dont mess with other players whatsoever. If i was pvping all the time or constantly kicking players out of their gyms i could understand it but iv done 1 gym battle for a mission and dont pvp at all
Same. Sniping and teleporting across the world for hubdos and beating gyms left and right can be very suspicious for Niantic. I only stick to Pokestops, catching pokemon and fighting raids at Central Park, and then go local for gyms.

So I'm about to root my oneplus 7. My problem and town i got is it's currently running android 12 and the videos I'm finding are 3 years old. That being said I'm a casual spoofer as well and pgsharp got me a 7 day back in February and i don't trust it anymore either. So I'm excited to do the root and with any luck go back to being able to hit my 7 day streaks. And before anyone judges Arizona is still going thru record temps and under heat advisorys

I get why people spoof, especially if you live somewhere nice where there's not a lot of traffic and noise, but to say spoofers help their revenue is a fat lie. Don't need to purchase any balls, can just land somewhere with 50 stops around and boom. Don't need to purchase remote raid passes. Can just use your free daily raid pass or do quests to get premium ones for free. Spoofers aren't spending jack squat.
I see it as a win if they ban me. No more spending thousands of dollars a year for Niantic raid passes. I'm not driving 45 min to get to a big city to play. The countryside got nothing.

Regarding bans , the only way to be safest possible from bans is using a rooted method since the mods gets injected into the original game. Niantic should understand why people spoof. There are a bunch of reasons why.

Do they reset bans after a certain time? I have had accounts with multiple 7 day warnings but also some which recieved the 30 day strike.

I get why folks spoof especially if you live in a super rural area. However, when you have people spoofing to exact locations to pick up shundos, maxing out pokemon much faster than normal and raid local when it should be remote is cheating cause your acquiring pokemon you wouldn't have gotten by normal means.
But unless that person participates in PVP content, which most don’t, what exactly does that do to your experience? Collecting Pokémon for your own enjoyment does nothing to someone’s experience if they choose to play legit.
I'd consider myself a casual spoofer. I got a permanent ban in '17 when they first went after everyone hard. Stopped playing the game till about last year then started spoofing again, only really did it for help with 5 star raids as I live in a small town and no help. Hadn't spoofed since winter started as kids were busy with sports so I was lost when I couldn't load 3rd party apps anymore

I've been free spoofing since Niantics first game (Ingress) with no problems. Just don't be an idiot about it.
But why? Because it's against their TOS, that's why. Not saying I'm against spoofing, but there should be no shock if you get banned for doing it. I think the solution is for Niantic to implement features that incentivize spoofers to not spoof.

As a requisite for beating a boss, that is and sounds insane...
Niantic should make it for the raid bosses to have a scaling difficulty to match the amount of players who join a raid, but thats it.

Since in the city where i live not many people seem to play the game anymore and the ones who do only use gyms to put their pokemons but will never use the free daily raid passes because these cannot be used remotely
So they either change raids to let solo players do their way or start giving 1 free remote raid pass every day of the year, thay way people from all arround the city can gather arround and do these 5 star raids togheter from wherever they are.
Right now with daily raid passes only letting us join if we are in proximity is so fkng dumb and is not working.
But all they care is selling. Guess what? NO ONE in my entire city of arround 3M of people are buying their god damned remote passes either cuz they are not joining for raids when i host one.
And no one else in my entire country seems to be supporting this game cuz they dont seem to care for thor world country players anyways.
So yeah, very wise of Niantic for the way the implement their raids and special events.

I spoofed to do gym raids. Everyone drive the 30min to the nearest city and hope there enough people around. Now stops and gyms no longer show up so for me it's now it works as an offline game that needs internet.
I created my main account on 7/15/16. Oldest alt 8/11/16. I would delete my 3 alt accounts if my main were banned for any reason. I've lived in a small town for 90% of my life since pogo launched. I consider spoofing for how trash Niantic makes us feel.

I just got hit with the ban wave 1st offense. I was just catching, occasionally raid , never maxed out gym badges and kick other players spoofed for trades. now I'll play legit and transfer my shinys to the switch games. Only reasons I choose to spoof Niantic said oh well on my 2ed Shadow Mewtwo I was supposed to get but the game crashed. Spending 40$ to get a shiny regional that's my favorite mon just to not get a shiny. my local friends don't trade with me so to get more powerful and to get what I was after and to make Niantic pay the price I resorted to spoofing. I didn't get caught for 2 years...! totally worth it.

I used to spoof until 2016. I play Pokémon go off and on every couple of months and this is the first time I got banned. Made a new account, made it to level 30 in 6 hrs, app crashed. Open app and says we have detected activity on your account. Funny how they actually think spoofers will play legitely and not just quit and stop spending money on their game. Because they will. 😂

@@rom5457 yeah, this one spoofer lives in town. My gf n I went out around midnight to take over blue gyms (all gyms are blue in this town except for 2) and not even 5min later they were back to blue. Only a 100 or so people play PoGo here and we were the only ones out minus the crackheads which I doubt play the game.

couple of months ago lots here were banned even though they stopped spoofing and went legit--- their accounts were put on the list and something,--- to much walking, catching,idk triggered a perm ban---i think most were around feb/march/ first you get a 7-day strike.......then a 30 day......then a perm ban......its to stop or get banned but 2023 I've heard from many on youtube that did stop and now are banned so that's what he means by a matter of time-----pgsharp was safe but now they can tell logging in...not even teleporting....

@timothymayer3000 I use pg sharp for android. Be mindful of the cool down timer is the most important thing to follow. I also don't bounce around from place to place, which would alert niantic that this account is everywhere too often.

Gyms are dumb and who cares? I do, when I get dressed, take the elevator 12 floors up and down, walk out in the rain to take over a gym, only to have a spoofer immediately take it back. Other than that, I agree.

@@fruityjeezus You can find cheap android phones either at garage sales or auction sites. I'm using my old Moto G7 which you can find used online for like $30-$70. Just make sure whatever phone you choose can actually be rooted, so something like a Galaxy S8 would not work. But once you have one it should be easy enough to follow a guide to get it rooted and set up. Spoofing without android or root won't be possible anymore so it's the only way.

Pretty sure I was banned for almost a year after using PG sharp to be in tokyo. The game wouldn't let me log in. Just kept saying wrong password or email. I tried to log in this weekend and immediately I was in with most of my Pokemon and gifts from Japan. I got 12 shiny grubbins from the event last weekend

Casual spoofer here. Started spoofing on 2020 but quit playing in 2021. Decided to randomly get back into it a week ago. Started using pgsharp again and my acc was still there. No idea if i ever got a strike but havnt had one so far. I dont do crazy stuff like shundo sniping i just play in new york for the density of pokestops and raids. I leave peopls gyms alone aswell. I just like collecting the pokemon and live in a rural area making it annoying to play legit. If they ban me for that ohwell. Just wont play their game or give them money for raid passes anymore🤷♂️ dont see the big problem in what i do honestly. I dont mess with other players whatsoever. If i was pvping all the time or constantly kicking players out of their gyms i could understand it but iv done 1 gym battle for a mission and dont pvp at all

Same. Sniping and teleporting across the world for hubdos and beating gyms left and right can be very suspicious for Niantic. I only stick to Pokestops, catching pokemon and fighting raids at Central Park, and then go local for gyms.

So I'm about to root my oneplus 7. My problem and town i got is it's currently running android 12 and the videos I'm finding are 3 years old. That being said I'm a casual spoofer as well and pgsharp got me a 7 day back in February and i don't trust it anymore either. So I'm excited to do the root and with any luck go back to being able to hit my 7 day streaks. And before anyone judges Arizona is still going thru record temps and under heat advisorys

I get why people spoof, especially if you live somewhere nice where there's not a lot of traffic and noise, but to say spoofers help their revenue is a fat lie. Don't need to purchase any balls, can just land somewhere with 50 stops around and boom. Don't need to purchase remote raid passes. Can just use your free daily raid pass or do quests to get premium ones for free. Spoofers aren't spending jack squat.

Regarding bans , the only way to be safest possible from bans is using a rooted method since the mods gets injected into the original game. Been using rooted phone for yrs no ban.
