- The Remix Cup Great League Edition is finally here and today I'm using a very strong Tropius Team in Pokemon GO! Tropius has always lived in the shadow of other flyers like Altaria, Noctowl and Talonflame. But with the top 20 Meta Pokemon banned for this week, Tropius can shine and destroy Poliwrath Teams in GO Battle League!

I’ve been running Jellicent lead, Gligar safe swap, with Skarmory as a closer. Does really well into almost any team I’ve encountered, so long as there isn’t a Charjabug lead. Jellicent has some insane coverage on the meta right now, I think it’s super solid!
I’ve also started using Jellicent in my team! Charjabug lead with Vigoroth and Jellicent. Works fine for now but may experiement more 🤔

Scald needs to scale back the debuff % because it feels like it happens almost every time
It's insane, they could remove the debuff chance entirely and it would still be a good move. Idk why they buffed both the damage and the chance, neither was all that necessary and one or the other would have been plenty
I’ve been running Beedrill, Blastoise and Raichu in the Back. With so many Poliwraths out there almost any electric type with a good secondary charge should be good out there.

Skarmory Opener, Dewgong Safe Swap, and Gligar Closer's gotten me up 120 ELO just from a day or so of battles
Regular magnezone has been doing amazing for me as closer. Mantine lead vig safe swap. Mantine swept entire teams on occasions. Unfortunately dont have a shadow magnezon yet but tbh not sure it can with stand counter and incinerate as well

They should have a community vote banlist for remix cup. It would probably make for an interesting meta.

Swampert is not banned, unfortunately 😁 But looking at your games, I think that we really get very different opponent teams depending on our mon/move set and ranking, cause I haven't seen any of these teams.

Because I severely hate this meta I will be running cresselia, clodsire and carbink and will be a general nuisance stalling out the game clock
