I just finished my Meow Mug Rug. My sister comes over every day and, she has cats, so, I thought I would surprise her with a cat mug rug. Your pattern, as alway, was so easy to follow. The video was very helpful. Now to trim the fringe and make 3 more.

Hi i now bougth the pattern ,i want to make. The yellow cat in a blanket but how do i repeat the pattern ? You do not start the same Way like other mosaic patterns Where i start with one sc , i have tryed but it do not work, what am i doing wrong?
Hi, If you want to repeat the mug rug chart for a blanket-width, you will need to start with a multiple of 17 + 4 sts (for example 17 x 10 = 170 + 4 = 174 sts). Then for each row you start with 2 standard scs under both loops, then work sts 3 to 19 from the chart as many times as you want (10 times in my example above), then end with 2 standard scs. If you would rather just have 1 sc at each edge you can start with a multiple of 17 + 2 and just skip 1 of the scs at each end of the chart. Hope this makes sense x

You don't lose any stitches when you make the ears. You just need to remember to only skip 1 stitch (as normal) behind the tr2togs, or to put it another way make sure you BLdc above the slanted part of each ear. Hope this makes sense xx

Hi! What am I supposed to do with the 9 skipped stitches? Just leave them behind there loose? is there a way to make it so there aren't flaps on the back side of the piece?
yes you leave them unworked at the back. There are various methods you can use if you don't like the 'flaps' but I don't recommend any of them, as they all affect the look and feel of the fabric. You can try searching for mosaic negative stitch or anchoring sts to find videos by other designers xx

There is nothing wrong with your eyes :-) The Mug Rug chart wasn't there to begin with - I only added it to Ravelry when I uploaded the video xx
