Y'all still tempest modding?
Favourite mod if you exclude lubing switches
That's super interesting, in my country "gaffa tape" is what the americans calls "Duct tape", so when you mentioned it being low adhesion I thought you were making jokes lmao
This build sounds really nice!
Thanks!
Great content, great video making technique.
I had no idea keyboards were a thing to have a hobby around until I met you. Great video!
Thanks Midway!
The video quality, your voice and the background music make this so video so enjoyable to watch
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Recording quality is cleeean. U deserve more man your videos look like you have 100k subs
That means a lot thank you!
@@sleepycache I'll try to drop by your streams, cant wait till your famous
You could add some foam in the case bottom, likely the foam that cames with the box to getting more deeper ✌️
Good to see a fellow Australian also into mechanical keyboards. Surprised you only have 75 subs!
thanks! I just cant pump out as much videos as I want to, expensive hobby :(
@@sleepycache indeed haha, considering theres not much of mechanical keyboards in aus
sounds great and yes. Great vid man ill check out other vids nice setup man sub and like
I appreciate you, thank you!
@@sleepycache welcome glad I can help you need more subs 😉
The newer keychrons sound just sooo nice even in stock...
Keychrons are definitely good value
How did you get the holes in the tape so perfectly aligned for the screws and battery connector? It looks really well done and I'm trying to get something similar looking
I used a thin screw driver and then a scapel to make a cut out. You should use scissors if you really wanted to as well
What foam is at the bottom of the case? Just curious because I have the same keyboard on the way and plan to do this. I really like the sound you got out of yours!
I used the foam that was in the box :)
So a layer of painters tape followed by an overlay of electrical tape? Correct? How is this holding up nowadays? Just looking to gather some info before I try it out for myself
See how it is with just masking tape, I probably wouldn't bother with any other types of tape now. If you feel like you need more, just add more masking tape :)
@@sleepycache thanks for the response
Can you Tape mod a Keyboard with a batery? Because some people said it could be dangerous
Should be fine I'd say, I wouldn't stress about it
your spacebar was upside down lol
Its the only way
👀Saw the video drop 1 minute ago
Redeeming first even outside of Twitch KEKW

For some reason I can’t remove my side plates
Do you have the Allu frame version? there should be 4 screws, 2 on each side
No
I got plastic
@@ruglin Ah ok, if you got plastic then you do not have to remove the frame as there will be none
So not saying that his videos are bad but I did 3 layers of tape and some cotton in my case and I have wasted one hour of my life
Keep up the good fight, it does work, maybe not all the time but it does work ;)
