    Laundry is something I actually have a handle on with three kids 5 and under. Maybe someone else will gain some ideas.
    I use the lazy mans system for kids clothes - they each have 4 bins on an IKEA expedit shelf: box 1. Undies, socks, pjs 2. Shirts and sweaters 3. Pants and shorts 4. Pre- packed clothes (each bundle (5 for Mon-fri) has a pair of pants, shirt, undies, and socks.
    Works great for us- hope it helps someone else.

    Thank you so much for this Diane - especially about adjusting for your circumstances. I am a pensioner and have chronic health challenges and using my timer and pacing myself really helps. Otherwise, when I'm having a 'good day', the temptation to just keep going is strong but I have accepted (finally!) that I would suffer for it later.

      Sue Harley I feel you Sue! I have severe chronic fatigue, and the timer is SO helpful. I make a list of things to do, and I wait until I have proper energy to tick them off one by one. Really helps!

    Today's most important takeaway for me - if something's not working, pause and ask what I can do/try differently. Can't change what gets ignored.
    "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."

    As always your videos are so helpful! I followed the Babysteps in February when I found you on RUclips & am enjoying watching them again. It's good to hear things again because different details stand out for me. My DD26 showed me how to watch RUclips on our television so when I watch your videos on tv instead of my iPad you are "life size"; it's like we are sitting at the table together 🙂

    I put a small milkglass tray that I already had next to my sink to keep my liquids. I also used a milkglass container in my bathroom to put my face pads in. They make me happy to look at!

    my kids dsnearly 3and ddsoon6 LOVE the timer. I ask to clean their room... no one wants to. I set the timer... off they run, trying to beat the time. And my ds actually said to me tonight he can't go to bed yet as he still needed to clean the sink in his play kitchen. 😂 of course the main intention was not going to bed but he REALLY swiped his kitchen. I'm dreading being back to work though in a week... hope I'll keep up

    Very helpfull what you did say about adjusting. Suffer from allergic astma and when there are lots of pollen my routines are already quite a challenge. I started to feel guilty that on such days I couldn't accomplish rwhat I normally would. But doing the routines is enough I realised. So Thanks a lot.

    Thanks for the last videos. I could not look at them each day so I'm trying to catch up.
    In the meantime I have noticed that I was much to often looking at Instagram, a real time-killer for me. So I decided to stop "working" with Instagram.
    I'm looking forward to every new video!

    Thanks for talking about the caddy. I always put mine in the cupboard under the sink because I don't like to see the washing up equipment on show - but yours looks so chic! Did I see a red squirrel pottering around behind you in the garden and climbing up the parasol?

    Hi Diane, another great one! Well I don't know how you do it! when I come out of the sea.. I look like the oldest surfer in town :) my hair gets wet no matter what I do.. and then it curls up and yikes! But hey ho! I'm having so much fun! Thanks so much for all you do but also for inspiring me to get in that sea that is on my doorstep! I do wonder though, when it rains, how do you keep your clothes dry when you are swimming? x

    Love the secret squirrel coming in your garden. (15.32) do you get red squirrels where you live?

    • @DianeinDenmark
      @DianeinDenmark  7 лет назад +1

      Yes, we have a little family of red squirrels in our garden...I give them ryebread everyday, so they were probably wondering why I was sitting in the kitchen, instead of feeding them! LOL

    Hi Diane, Can I ask a question please? When do yo stop doing the room rescue as a daily routine? It's on the Fly lady App in the morning routine. Thanks, Maureen from Australia

    • @DianeinDenmark
      @DianeinDenmark  7 лет назад

      Hi Maureen! If you have cleared out your 'dungeon'/the worst room in the house, you can also use the 5 minute room rescue to do a quick tidy up in any room you like. Do a PUPA for 5 minutes (pick up and put away).
