Man I'm sooo happy you said that Justin! A lot of people say Stadium Arcadium isn't a great album, but it's honestly my favorite RHCP album mainly BECAUSE of how awesome John Frusciantes guitar work is. I personally feel like every album he was on just got better and better. Its a shame that hes not with the chili peppers anymore:(
He wanted to leave the Peppers so if you say its shame then it means the shame is on John. So watch your words! We can say it's sad but not shame. If you love him respect his choice!
antiqueA Relax, I know his solo music and its mostly electronic. Its just a word dont think about it too much. I mean its a shame there will be no more RHCP music with John Frusciante.
He teaches the main little riff, and then one section of the chorus (which he gets somewhat wrong), and he doesn't include any of the fills. He doesn't teach either of the two solos. he doesn't teach the acoustic chords being played behind the solos. So what he does teach is okay I guess, but it isn't a good lesson of the song.
Brent Gibala yeah i have and thats pretty good, but the chords being played behind the first solo are finger picked, and none of the tabs show the pattern for it
this song is the reason i learned guitar :D I used to play it in simple chords with few fills.. and natural barre chords but thanks to you now I can do it exactly like john! I hope you will do the solo too..
How you doing Justin? Your the only teacher that shows strumming, timing and counting. Guitar players wonder why they have problems making a song sound right. Big one for myself is I get bored playing a song after awhile and staying motivated with a song is hard but I'm getting better. Thanks for all your knowledge and musicianship. Your the man.
Fantastic lesson! I love how you give the simplified version, the intermediate, then the advanced (proper) ways to play. I had kind of worked out a hybrid myself to play on acoustic, but I'm keen to add a little more to bring it closer to the original.
Justin how did you manage to get this sound, I've been trying to get a sound like this for a while and can never quite get it but yours hit the nail on the head
Hy Justin ! Learned it for a year now. Thanks a lot. It will be cool to talk about the guitar and the ampli précisions to hear an Almost correct sound and the main strings of the chords to feel real.. I've learn it myseself. Merci encore Justin
Thanks again Justin! One thought for the people who have a short and weak pinky, like me. For the fill in the intro, right after the first B-minor- play the open D string, instead of stretching to the d-note on the 5th fret of the 5th string.
This song is so moving! The chord progression is incredible, just listening to You playing it in the beginning of the video gave me goosebumps. So much talent distilled into this song. And your lesson is fantastic, a real in-depth approach to the tune. The little things make perfection but perfection is no little thing.
Oh man, when I saw this one popping up on my subscribtion page I didn't know how fast to click. I love the RHCP and this song is so awesome. Cheers Justin!
Justin mate you are the best. Have bought most of your guitar course books and song books....and for what I paid for them and what I got out of them feels like I got them for nothing. When I found you had a ton of stuff for free on RUclips too I came to the conclusion that it's just pure love for you to teach guitar. Thanks for all your hard work mate. You're a legend in my books
Hey Justin! Been playing for a year now and so decided to post a video of my progress on my channel! You made it so much easier to learn things in an organised manner and have had a more positive effect on my life than you could ever imagine because of it! Thanks!! Also wet sand is one of those songs that sounds as if it was always there just waiting to be written, awesome lesson!
Perfect work, Justin! As always! Thank you a ton for this lesson and please don't stop the RHCP tutorials. John is a such an amazing guitarist and I picked up the guitar for him :) So thank you once again!
Nice tutorial .Really enjoyed learning it @ Justin Please put more lessons on this type of songs which contains Fills over the chords . or any song suggestion +Justin Guitar
Fantastic lesson mate. Been looking for a good, comprehensive lesson for this for a long time. Had most of the basics down but didn't know I was doing so many mistakes with the fills. Looking forward to part 2. Also, how epic is that solo?! Gives me goosebumps.
Man this is fucking excellent. I love rhcp so much, this is one of my favourite songs of theirs that most non rhcp fans don't know. Thankyou for doing this lesson Justin :)
Ain't no easier way to get a wrist injury than trying keep up with Frusciante (still totally worth trying though)! Sheesh, i so can't wait for the second part! Thanks a lot, Justin, you're the best :)
Hey Justin, Can you please make a lesson of Billy Idol - La Woman, I really love that song and I desperately want to learn it, but there are no lessons on the internet about this song...Thank you in anyway! You are the best guitar teacher on youtube, you have the best lessons! Cheers! :)

+Prisms Edits no it is Frusciante is my favourite guitarist hands down
