    Prince Tour 100P 2022 tennis racquet review
    Weight (unstrung) : 305 g
    Balance : 31 cm
    Swingweight : 322
    Head Size : 100 in² / 645 cm²
    String pattern : 18x20
    Beam width : 22 mm / 23 mm / 20 mm
    Stiffness : 61 Ra
    Length : 68.5 cm / 27 in
    I would recommend the Prince Tour 100P tennis racquet version 2022 it to players:
    - with an intermediate or advanced level who want a slightly heavy racquet,
    - able to produece power with their technique,
    - who have rather large and relaxed swings, in order to have power without forcing too much,
    because the control oriented side is present,
    - who want a control-oriented racquet that's not too hard to play,
    - with a modern game, with power and top spin, or semi-powerful game style who play with slice and flat shots,
    - who are looking for a racquet with a 645 head size, for comfort, forgiveness, access to topspin and which is not too powerful,
    this is one of the most control oriented tennis racquet with a 645 head size
    - who are looking for a good power/control compromise,
    - looking for a correct access to top spin
    - looking for a racket with more balance on the handle side for a good maneuverability,
    - who are looking for a racket with a very good level of comfort.

    First, wonderful review Jean-Pierre. I use the TeXtreme Tour 100P Ltd. I believe my racquet has an ever so slight added thickness to match Lucas Pouille actual specs. But just a word about your reference to using the previous model. I can tell by the throat of your racquet being all black you were using the 2015 model and not the previous 2019 version, which has a faded camo look. Your 2015 version was a 62 stiffness the 2019 was 66. My Ltd. all white version is also a bit more stiff, I'm guessing it's from the added thickness. Thanks for all your great videos Jean-Pierre. Love your BACKHAND!!

    Great review. Thanks. Will try it out, because I like 645 inch and 18x20. I believe there is only one other racket like this, the Head Gravity Pro. Do you now how the Head compares to the Prince? I tried the Head Gravity Pro, but did not like single handed backhands with it, and it lacked power. Great for slices and flat shots though.

    Just a bit of editing: Your "racquet of choice" is the 2015 version of the 100P, not the most recent version to this ATS. It's mine too and I haven't found a better racquet since! Thanks for the awesome reviews - short concise and to the point. Keep them up!

      Yes it's an old version and not the latest, but the latest is very close, to not say the same. Great racquet indeed.

    Jean-Pierre: Another great review! It would be nice if you could evaluate the other 18x20 100 sq in rackets, like the Head auxetic Speed pro, gravity pro, etc. I know that the older version of the Prince 100p is your racquet of choice. Will you switch to the new version? If you had to play a match, which version would you use? All the best, JP… Ciao, john

      Thank you ! I could play with both the previous and the new model. Currently I hesitate with the Yonex VCore Pro 100 2021, which is more powerful than the previous and I find it interesting. I'll try to make an english review. I'll see also for testing other 18x20 / 100 racquets.

      Thank you ! I'd say head extreme tour more powerful, feels lighter, don't know why, at least the one I demoed. Gravity Tour, haven't demoed but I guess less powerful than 100P.

      I've tested it and made a french review. It's really different. For me there are no best racquets, only racquets that fit some players and not others. Everyone has to find HIS best raquet.

    Nice review! How does it compare to Speed Pro 2022 and Blade V8 18x20?
    I have tail weighted 100p and really like it, though the racket doesn't have any specific strength so I want to look for Blade/Speed

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад +2

      Not far from the Speed Pro. More powerful than the Blade 18x20. I don't know what you mean by " the racket doesn't have any specific strength".

    • @tophersuwita

      @@team-tennisenglish1514 ah I see, I mean if you compare it with other "mainstream" frames like Blade (feel), Pure Drive (power), Pure Aero (spin) etc, it seems that 100p is an all-rounder

    Hi, can you compare this vs Prince ATS tour 98 - Comfort, control and power -Thanks for a good review👍

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад +2

      A bit hard because I haven't tried it. I guess it'll be less powerful despite 16x19 string pattern. I think the 98 head size will reduce the power. I think the access to top spin should be correct. I'd say mainly less powerful, maybe a bit easier to swing because of the head size but the Tour 100P is nice for manoeuverability.

    Hi cn you plese review the Prince ATS Textreme Tour 98 - tennis warehouse europe finally has it in stock

  • @mteca5093
    @mteca5093 Год назад

    This racket has more open string pattern even compared to my 2021 vcore98....measure the string spacing and you will see it only gets tight at the ends ..middle string spacing is open more then spin rackets

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад

      Well I don't find the space huge, just normal. Access to top spin correct but not crazy. Most 645 / 16x19 racquets will have same/better access. VCore 98 is not crazy for top spin, vcore 100 much better, and better than the Prince tour 100P.

    Does this racket offer the same level of comfort as the 2015 (1st) version? Or does it offer more comfort (wrist/elbow).
    In other words. Would it be worth buying the newest version if you want much more comfort? Of would it be not a big change and might as well stay with the 2015v ?
    Kind regards, Vince

    I see the balance point 31.95 so which racket of these 2 is very close to 100P ATS in menuviblity, the Tecnifibre TF40 315 or TF40 305 as I'm one-handed BH player .

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  Год назад +1

      More the TF40 315 but it's also heavier, smaller head size than the tour 100P, more difficult to use.

    What is the difference with Gravity Mp? Which is better for flat forehand?

    • @belmin45
      @belmin45 9 месяцев назад

      Hi there. I am using gravity MP. Thanks to this review. I decided to buy this racket. IF you are more on control and flat buy this racket.accurate in volley and slice. Spin potential is also great. Gravity MP is more power and head heavy more on heavy spin for me..

    • @team-tennisenglish1514
      @team-tennisenglish1514  9 месяцев назад

      For me the gravity mp is easier to swing fast but at the same time I'm a bit bothered by the balance a bit towards the head. Gravity MP better for top spin. Prince great for comfort. One of the least powerful racquet with 100 head size but it remains versatile besides that.
