- Nope. No. Never. These are 3 of the worst car brands as far as I'm concerned. I can't stand them and won't buy one of these cars or SUVs. I don't think you should be buying them either, so avoid these ones at all costs!

I have a 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport(RVR). On day 1 it was rattling and the uninspiring performance was noticeable. However, 150,000 miles later, I have never been stranded on the side of the road and dumped almost no money into it. Unlike my wife's Mercedes and BMW.
Rust pit too
I like my 2023 V6 Camry. 8 speed “real” transmission, no turbo or hybrid. Doesn’t even shut off at a red light! 1600 RPM at 70. 36 MPG highway miles. That drivetrain will last a very long time.
That is the last of some of the most durable modern cars
@@ECPP exactly. That why I purchased it. They will soon replace the V6 with a 2.4 4 cyl turbo. BTW. Was lucky finding an ethical dealer. Earl Stewart Toyota in West Palm
beach. No dealer fees, addendums or markups. Quoted price plus sales tax and title.
@@tomstoeckle tom u got the last of the goods. no more six's and no more torque wheel gear tranny's. 07 camry with 147k. four cyl. i hear any six cylinder camry is really cool. your thoughts? change the oil every 5k miles and you should get 200k plus on it - probably more.
@@subaruamazonthe 6 is amazing. Oil change every 5k. I run 89 or 90 octane ethanol free fuel as well. Should last quite a while
I agree with except the Subaru. My father has his for 18 years. The legacy never had a problem
Same. He complains about Subaru yet he drives that crazy overpriced Mercedes that’s terrible all around.
Both of our Subaru’s, thankfully, no problems. This almost reminded me of the station on RUclips TFL they have no idea about anything Subaru. They decide to make accusations as in this case without really having any kind of real life experience. As consumers, we know better this is just one of those walk videos.
Impreza CVT transmisson crapped out at 60,000 miles, 2 wheel bearings, never again
Looking at a 7 year old subaru... come on dude. I wouldn't buy one of those either. But, I would buy a newer one! Very good cars overall... have owned nearly all the models including the brz the past 20 years (except wrx).
SVX?
😂😂😂 All these « bad » brands are rated EVERYWHERE as much better than any Dodge, GMC, and other American makers.
First time I see someone bashing only Japanese cars and omitting the obvious worse…
My 2014 Altima has 109k miles on it - no problems at all. I’ll take it any day over a $100k Ford pickup with bad quality. Talk about gouging…that’s Ford! My Altima is 10 years old and paid off and will last another 10 years.
I guess I could say I'm a Nissan guy I've had three Nissans and all three of them have been excellent vehicles. Two of them currently have CVTs never had any issues... the Altima has 200,000 on it and everything on the engine is still original as far as mechanical stuff. Replaced valve cover gasket and oil cooler gasket, front struts and a wheel bearing.... other than that nothing. Change your oil every 3 to 5000 miles. Use 89 octane at least. Nissan kind of has a bad rap but I've not seen it in 20 years of driving them. Don't like Subaru there just fucking gay... I'm just not a Mazda person either just slow. Other vehicle in the house is a Toyota Camry and Maxima.
Oh really. Hell. I’m still driving my 2005 ford F150. With 4 hundred thousand miles on it.. and she’s still running strong. !! 💪🏾 I just can’t afford the new ones. !!
my 2006 Forester which I bought brand new is loaded and has a manual. It's still going strong.
@ Subaru 2005-2009 generally have 2 engine issues. Head Gaskets and dropped valves.
Yes, I know and I am holding my breath. I only have 106 K but I have changed the oil every three K and done multiple coolant flushes. I do have a small leak from one valve cover gasket that has stayed the same for years. The car is in excellent shape but I am not sure I would repair a head gasket leak.@@don-cw1yz
Conclusion is if you want a japanese car buy Toyota Honda Mazda. And of course Lexus and Acura
100 percent
I agree! I am a Toyota/ Lexus fan.
You know what they say about opinions. This is just one it doesn’t make it factual.
Recently bought my little sister a car. A 2010 Toyota Matrix 1.8L
I'd avoid newer Hondas. They have been having oil dilution issues and haven't been able to solve it.
I have a 2018 Nissan kicks I bought used with 52000 miles, it’s in perfect condition and I have taken very good care of it! I have the SR, I love it! It runs better than any care I have ever owned, no hesitation or anything .
Oh wow. You got really lucky. My 2019 Nissan kicks . Only had 56 thousand miles on it.. when I bought it. 3 months later. My transmission died on me !!.
Btw a Subaru with a manual gear box could last you a long time
Wife and I have been buying and driving Foresters and Outbacks since 2004 model. Very reliable and very crash safe. Example: My 2017 Outback Limited 4 cylinder has zero repairs in 86,000 miles. Similar for Forester, one small repair in 77,000 miles. We will replace them with new Subarus.
86,000 miles in 7 years is not a reliable test......
My 2018 Subaru Forester with the 6-speet manual transmission has been an excellent car. It does burn some oil but not a lot. This was the last year that the 6-speed transmission was available in the Forester. It has been serviced at regular intervals and at 120,000 km handles and runs like new. No issues and it does not have the dreaded stop/start feature. It has been a very reliable car and I am just one of the many satisfied owners.
With you on Mitsubishi/nissan (same company) but you’re wrong about Subaru. Have had better reliability with my Subaru then other Toyotas I’ve owned. Not saying they’re more reliable just that Subaru in general is pretty reliable. They also have the best AWD system of any other car.
Thanks for watching and great comment. For me the CVT is not a very uninspiring g drive but many engines tend to use oil and tight engines are always a little nicer. Many people do live Subes because they are simply so practical and functional even the shortcomings are excusable. Hope your weekend is also going well
I have a Subaru 2008 . With 4 hundred thousand miles on it. With zero issues. !!
We’ve owned 4 Subaru’s with zero problems.
That’s great to hear. Depends which drivetrains specifically
Disagree with this video. My 12' Altima car that I am in my 13th year of driving has been bulletproof so far. I change the CVT fluid in my car every 25,000 miles or 2 years whichever occurs first. NEVER have had any problems with my transmission. I do all the required maintenance on my car and expect to drive it for many more years.
I had this same car and the CVT went out at 45K. This is such a common problems that Nissan replaced it, no questions asked on their dime even though it was off warranty. Good on you for being proactive with the fluid changes though.
I did the fluid changes on the CVT on my 2015 Rogue, and the CVT still went out at 65,000 miles!
What year? Nissan did have a lot of problems with their CVT in the 2013 through 2015 models. 2013 was the worst year.@@theschrom
@@josephkelleher8820 Now that I think about, I think it was a 2008 so probably not the same exact model. I recall Nissan even extended the transmission warranty for my particular model. I’m sure they’re better now in terms of reliability but an overall unenthusiastic driving car that failed way sooner than it should have. Dull as dishwater.
Yeah right, Mitsubishi, Nissan, subaru .Man come to Africa, these are some of the car brands that handle our all weather and terrible terrain conditions , especially Toyotas ,i have my 22 year old Toyota harrier and still going strong,no engine probs ,no gearboxs brobs ,smooth as a jet
For Lent I'm trying to avoid commenting on RUclips, but I feel it's a greater sin to feed people misinformation. People want to lump Honda in with Toyota in reliability without doing research. Honda USED to be great. I'd avoid newer Hondas as well as the brands mentioned here. They have been having oil dilution issues in their engines and haven't been able to solve it. Also, Subaru has gotten a lot better in recent years as Toyota has stock in them and it shows. They have gotten a lot more reliable in recent years. I agree on the styling though. Outside of the BRZ, Subaru doesn't have cool looking vehicles.
An idiotic hit job on Mitsubishi. He called the Outlander "plain vanilla". You have got to be kidding or you don't know jack. My 2022 Outlander has never had a single problem and I love the vehicle. First Mitsubishi for me so I am not a Mitsu freak. And by the way, how about the Mitsubishi FIVE YEAR/60K bumper to bumper warranty (not that I have had to use it). The Mirage is an 18K economy car. Good grief, you get what you pay for.
That Forester model you were reviewing was the 2009-2013 body style. They were not very good and not a good representative of the Forester line. The Foresters they have NOW are MUCH better and Consumer Reports seems to speak highly of them, as well as Crosstrek and Outback. But damn, get rid of the CVTs and go the Mazda route.
You are wrong about the SUBARU
bought a used 2016 forester in 2019 . it had about 25,000 miles on it 2.5L 4 cylinder engine with the CVT transmission , now it has 99,000 miles on it . while not awe inspiring , ok maybe a bit boring . it has not disappointed in reliability . in those almost 75,000 miles 2 sets of front wheel bearings , 2 brake fluid changes ( when brakes need replacement ) 1 differential fluid change and 1 CVT fluid change ..... I can't really complain for spending $24,500
LOL 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander 100,000 miles, $0 repair expense, just routine maintenance. Sorry, car guru, but I will skip.
1.strong motor. 2. Reliable transmission. 3 very underrated car brand !!. They just make boring cars. That’s all.
Everyone I know who owns a Subaru absolutely loves it. Very reliable automobile s. They have perfected the flat four engine. This is the first channel that has ever had negative things to say about this auto maker.
Same thoughts
How can you call these 3 Japanese brands junk considering that Ford, Jeep, and Chrysler exist....? I'm done watching your nonsense.
You’re absolutely right about that.)? Hell I’m still driving my 2003 ford F150. With 4 hundred thousand miles on it.).. go figure. I just can’t afford the new ones !!
Bought a 2023 Forester last August and already have 11,000 miles on it. Zero regrets except for not buying a Subaru sooner. Very happy. This guy is clueless… I’ve owned Hondas and while I’ve liked them, I’m happier with my Subaru, especially with regard to fit and finish.
Haters gonna hate. And they're usually stupid.
Clueless is a good word reminds me of TFL they can’t test Subaru’s to save their life
My parents bought a 22 Forester and they love it, that Forester he was referring to, looked pretty old to me. They also traded a RAV 4 for the Forester, because they had nothing but problems with that RAV.
No way. He’s definitely lying about the foresters.. 2008. With 4 hundred thousand miles on it.. with zero issues !! 😊😅😮😢
I would suggest you add the American vehicles into this segment. Theres a lot of junk being built by dodge and Chevy and Chrysler and ford, not to mention fiat, Alfa Romeo, etc. There’s plenty of other bad brands.
I just bought a Nissan, used Frontier truck. Naturally aspirated 4 cylinder with a 5 speed automatic. For a good simple truck it is hard to beat for the money. Pretty much every auto parts store in my part of America uses them for delivery vehicles.
I think gmc, ford and Chevy should’ve been mentioned here. I’d rather rollerblade to work than purchase any of those junk brands.
Chevys are NOT JUNK Jack!
I have been driving Chevys for over 50 years.
Everyone was a solid dependable performing trouble free vehicle.
As with all vehicle makes if you dont perform routine maintenance and tear the sheet out of them they will be problematic.
I rented a Rogue a few weeks ago. Seemed like it was a somewhat ok vehicle. Anyway on my way back to the airport I was in a little bit of a rush. I was flogging down the road and used the paddle shifter to downshift and then the transmission went into some limp mode or something. I had my foot to the floor and it would only go 60. Had to pull into the right lane. After 2 miles it finally got back to normal. 😂😂
Haha, wow that’s not good but sounds about right
And , I give you . Fiat , Jeep and VW , and raise ya a GM junk box .
I had a 2017
Altima with 270,000 km on it never a transmission problem. Funny Nissan and Subaru have pretty good reliability according to consumer report. I think you missed the Ford eco-boost engines that literally detonate, and then the company doesn’t stand behind them. Wheres Jeep, which is worse than all three of the brands you’ve mentioned here. Land Rover? Jaguar? 🤔
Consumer reports almost never consider longevity, mostly problems they analyze are for the first few years of ownership.
Ecoboost is a name, not a family of engines. Most of them are different from each other. While there’s been all sorts of issues with the 1.0 and 1.5 4 bangers, the 2.3, 2.7 and 3.6 will last for hundreds of thousands of miles. Search for F150 Ecoboost with 1.4 million miles on RUclips , it ran 700k miles with the first engine and the 2nd is running strong. It’s a 2.7 ecoboost. The new 1.5 3 cylinder is also good for 200k miles or more.
@@danibj- Ford is an overpriced joke. $100k pickup? That is immoral. You will be in debt for life - enjoy your overpriced scrap heap.
@@danibj You are completely wrong, and don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. Consumer Reports goes back at least ten years for all cars and trucks, and collects detailed subscriber data for it's evaluations.
@@eskieman3948I'm so glad I never based my buying decision on anything consumer reports had to say or any review channel for that matter 😊
@@eskieman3948 they have all sorts of measurements, the most common ones are for up to 3 years of ownership.
I drive A 2017 Mitsubishi outlander sport AWD. I love it. I wish it had a 8 speed auto transmission. It's good on gas and I change out the radio to a touchscreen.
It’s good it is working for you
@ECPP yes . I brought it with 71K in 2022 and I have 95K on it now.
I've sold all 3 brands of your most hated. When I read your headline, Mitsu came to mind instantly. After talking to the 3 mechanics the first week I was at Mitsu as Internet & Customer Follow-up Director...I ran like a scalded dog back to Honda. I avoided Nissan altogether when Carlos Ghosn, of Renault "fame" (?) took over as CEO at Nissan. Things started to decline as quality gave way to cost cutting (eg: JATCO CVT). Styling was the selling point, but quality was swept under the rug.
My number 3 is Range Rover. I think l've said enough here about that beautiful, yet temperamental, unreliable, (guaranteed to fail at the worst possible time) bucket of crap.
And like you said, Kia deserves a strong dishonorable mention for their mechanical non-wonders.
Good work!!!
Range Rover should be at the top of this list.
@@theschrom Totally.
My top 3 trash list is.
1 Range Rover
2 Audi
3 Hyundai/Kia
Never seen a more bias video in my life.
Mark great smack down!!! 🇨🇦 my best to you, family and friends ✌🏻🫶🏻
I have a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Black Edition. Looks like a Range Rover Sport. HAHAH.. I also have a 2019 Subaru WRX. Both have been good to me. The Mitsu has been at the shop twice. To replace a blown speaker and a for a recall. Wife drives it daily. The WRX I've only had to change out the brakes so far. Best part. I have no car payments. To each their own.
Both relatively new get back to us in a couple more years
@@NickChemist-yf6ojI currently own a 2005 WRX which has the last of the 2.0L EJ motors which is more durable than the 2.5L. It has been pretty reliable overall. The benefit of WRXs is that they have a big aftermarket support of high quality parts like most sporty models do. So if the turbo goes out I have several options to choose from at a reasonable price.
I don’t really care for Nissan either because of the cvt, however I’ve never seen a failure on one that has has the NS-2 or NS-3 replaced with Valvoline cvt fluid and changed every two years. Many Nissan and Mitsubishi have Jatco cvt btw. Change the fluid regularly and before specs.
Right now…..it looks like Mazda is the most reliable car company out there.
I would say so at some point at some levesl
Along with Subaru
Not even close. Honda or Toyota
@@harveyhankerson8359 Mazda is better right now. Sorry Toyota is having issues with their new engines and Honda having turbo issues. Sad but true
Well, I have a mitsubishi eclipse cross 1.5l manual (MK1) for the last 5 years and love it. Zero problems.
That Mitsubishi Mirage is as big of a piece of shit as the Fiat 500 and Chevy Spark. Good luck trying to reach anything over 100,000 miles.
For me that is Kia, Dacia and Hyundai. I would rather gladly drive Subaru or Nissan than those three.
You list a few of the biggest trash bag brands in my opinion and uncovered those in a previous video too. Well deserved.
Kind of a clickbait video, Nissan and Subaru are average to above average reliability (depending on model) according to Consumer Reports. Mitsubishi isn't even ranked by CR because they sell so poorly, due to poor reputation for build quality, so understandable that they're on here. Any mention of junk brands that doesn't mention Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler or VW is clearly not fully considered.
Someone recently won a Mitsubishi Mirage on the Price is right. He was so excited he was jumping all over, little did he know he won the boobie prize. The taxes he will have to pay to collect it are worth more than the car.
Ford, GM, and Chrysler (Stellantis) should be at the top of every would-be car owner's list of brands to AVOID! Their quality and records of reliability have always been abysmal (not to mention recalls galore). Stick with an older Honda or Toyota (that was manufactured in Japan) and you'll be OK. Avoid anything built in Mexico (i.e. Toyota Tacoma) because the quality and build quality are junk.
before Renault bought nissan in 1999, altimas and sentras were rock solid. then the french, who dont know how to make cars, started cutting corners and cutting costs at the expense of quality. I wouldn't
buy a nissan if it were the last car on earth. they are junk. Ever since Subaru's gained the reputation of blown head gaskets, I wouldnt touch them with a ten foot pole either. toyota honda and mazda the only way to go.
"Pep boys grill" Love it
Haha, cheers
I’d happily buy any Subaru over any Hyundai, Kia, Ford, GM, or Chrysler product.
Same
@@P1anetMar5oh really. Hell. I’m still driving my 2003 ford F150. With 4 hundred thousand miles on it.. she’s still running strong. I just can’t afford the new ones !!
that forester is not the prettiest i agree but mechanically is a tank.. has a torque convertor gear box and with the flat 4 engine easy electronics.. also a timing chain naturally aspirated engine ,,,,that car is fantastic
Thanks for the info
Hey dude... there are a lot of junk brands. You cant say this about japanese cars. They are the best in the world. They know how to make cars.
I agree there are many junk cars but these days consistently these brands offer little to nothing from my perspective. Nissan used to be amazing and other than the GTR or trucks, there is really nothing redeeming. GM, Ford, also belong on a hit list but there are a few more offerings.
@@ECPP im not a fan of nissan. But mitsubishi toyota and honda are the best. The most reliability, the most long life, the less maintenance cost. I have had american, European, corean and japanese cars during 30 years. With 100% trust I can say no brand like japanese cars. Especially toyota mitsubishi and honda.
Thank you for putting poor mitsubishi with the big boys (Toyota and Honda).
would you consider a frontier as a exception to the no nissan rule?
Nissan make good trucks. Frontier is a decent truck.
Since 2020 nissan have replaced 300 parts in the CVT transmission included new belt, read online no complaints after that year...Between me and my wife 5 Nissan included a 2012 Altima with 100 000 miles, that I never replaced any fluid and never have any kind of problems cero nada, oooh I remember the seat was making niose was replaced, the other 4 great
You did change your oil, I'm sure. I hope.
@@Jan96106 Yes, only engine oil every 5k.
Old Subaru model not even close to the quality and looks of current generation. Foolish comments on an old car
This channel is pure information from a desperate little fella trying his precious heart out.
Haha. 6 foot and years of experience
“ Tackle Box “ … bahaha !! Great job Mark
Haha, thanks so much. Have a great weekend.
Much worse cars than the ones mentioned. Where’s Fiat, Alfa-Romero’s, Jaguar, Range Rovers and other Stellantis cars? Much worse
I came in expecting Dodge and Jeep as part of the three. I have a 16 yr old Altima, but I wouldn't buy a newer model one. My parents had a much newer Rogue than my Altima, that had to have the transmission replaced around 130K miles, which is very common. I also have two Hondas, both reliable AF.
I have a 2010 Outlander GT V6 since 2010 has now 163,000 Miles. It has the 6 automatic transmission though. No big issues at all and dependable suv. I think it’s more of the crappy CVT for Mitsubishis though and my issue of dwindling Mitsubishi dealers in my area. I am looking at Mazda Cx-90 hope those will be reliable.
2019 Subaru Ascent sold at 63k miles. Never any problems although, admittedly, I did not like the CVT transmission. You have to learn how to work with it. The fit and finish was outstanding on the Ascent. I've owned 23 cars/trucks in my life. No complaints otherwise.
Good to hear for sure.
Got 173K miles on my pos 2005 Nissan Murano:
Last 14 months I've spent roughly $2,300 on Valve Covers, Coils, Sparks, Alternator, and Battery.
HVAC, Radio, and Infotainment don't work...but 170K+ and we're still putting 4-500 Miles on it a month as a second vehicle.
😭🤣😭
Every single vehicle from Subaru is recommended by Consumer Reports. Except the Solterra which is made by Toyota.
Helpful Automotive Info as always.....thanks !
No worries!
I’ve got a 2015 Suburu Legacy with 215,000 miles that’s running great
You don't even like the Nissan Frontierr?
We had a Mitsubishi VCR back in the day
Guys, he's not saying these are the top 3. Hes saying here are three.
That said, I rented an Outlander and really enjoyed it. Also I own a manual Nissan Versa and it's been great.
One common connection between the three dream cars you mentioned: they all feature primarily the JATCO transmission,, which has been letting people down for well over a decade.
The Subaru has made even greater strides lately I've read and the newer models are looking great.
The nissans have gotten worse over the years especially being outsourced and production outside Japan.
Mitsubishi needs to focus on their core brand electronics, which they have mastered.
Everyone has an opinion, i'm glad most are wrong.
My first car was a 1990 mitsubishi galant. It went on for years, with very little issues. Think it was quite over 200.000km when i sold it, and it still worked fine. But the new owner neglected it and it went very fast to the junk.
Cheers
I'm a Honda guy. I've owned 3 Honda Accords & I think they are the best. I'm also a big fan of Toyota. My mother has been buying Toyotas for decades & they are great cars. In 2019 I bought a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant as a second car. I am now in Mitsubishi fan. The car has a very solid ride & has had almost no issues. Excellent & reliable car . If you go online and read Kelly Blue Book & Edmund's reviews, Mitsubishi owners rave what good cars they are. I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you on Mitsubishi. I don't like Subarus I think they are ugly but most people are very happy with them too. I do agree with you on Nissan- lots of issues. Ford has to be the worst. I bought a 2016 Ford Fusion in 2017 and sold the car in a year. The transmission was junk & was so herky-jerky I hated driving it. You should have mentioned Ford. From what I hear about Chrysler you should have mentioned them too before these brands.
As for the Subaru logo in question............It starts with looking up at the night sky in the Northern Hemisphere..........there you see the Orion star constellation closely chasing Taurus the Bull, who is chasing the pleiades constellation, which is made up of about 9 stars. Whats the Japanese word for pleiades?..........."Subaru"...........now you know.
I have been driving (and still do) various Subaru model vehicles for more than 10 years and have not once had any mechanical problems with any of them. You can keep driving your European junk with their huge maintenance bills!
A Co worker of mine had a Subaru and loved it , till it needed repair on the exhaust system and the parts were super expensive and only available at a dealer
Thanks for sharing
Mitsibushis has always costed less than Toyotas and as a result they're made cheaper and corners are cut. Plus, cars aren't Mitsubishi's main focus, so they aren't made as well. This is why it's common for Mitsubishis to start burning oil or have engine or transmission failures around 100k miles. Their piston rings are just made too cheaply. My cousin's 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander CVT failed at 145000 miles, in addition, his engine started burning oil at around 110000. He traded in for a 2016 CX-5 and it's now at 260000 miles and is still 100% trouble free all original.
I agree with you Mark. I promised myself I will never touch any vehicle with cvt. If manufacturers use that, I’ll rather buy an older decent vehicle. They can have their sub par cheaper making “ engineering “
What about Kia's?
i will say that Subarus are way over priced...about 15 years ago, i tried to get into a used Outback that had 60k miles...they wanted $30k for it...also think the current Foresters are way over-priced for the size of the vehicle you get (it's basically an Outback in training)...
The majority of people have been brainwashed into forgetting that cars are tools, nothing more. The number of power door locks and windows failures I have seen is unreal. From all manufacturers. Reading "experts" deriding Toyota for not going Screamie Teenie Beatlemania on Electric Cars, and now the "experts" either backpedal faster than a fixie-riding Spin Doctor or repress the memory of exposing themselves as a low-functioning halfling. "The Homer!!"..... *GASP*
Stay gold.
I had a neighbor who owned a Subaru and the car was a complete lemon.
Junk imho.
I don't know what would you do if you drive maruti suzuki cars 😂😂😂.
Haha idk.
We’ve had three Qashqai in the family one with 170,000 km right now and it’s been back to the dealer for all changes, brakes and tires only. In case you haven’t noticed Honda Toyota, are all flipping the CVT’s as well.
Nissan's CVT transmission is the worst in the business.
@@albertatundra not from my experience, and with the new Frontier and the new Pathfinder they’re going to nine speed autos. He forgot to mention that. He basically slammed CVT’s in general. Both new Camry and Accord are now CVT.
Toyota on very few models and it has been the best CVT ever made, Honda is having lots of reliability issues right now and has been going downhill last 5 years. Nissan as of this year is no longer any part of Renault they baught back the shares and are strictly a Japanese company again so time will tell if reliability returns.
@@deancm9302 Yup, and more are coming for many car manufacturers, whether we want them or not.
I like Nissan's Versa for the money.
Nice
The Frontier isn't that terrible right?
Dispute his conclusions re Subaru. I have three friends with Subaru wagons or SUVs 1994 or newer. They have all been extremely reliable. Check the ratings. This channel host needs to do his homework. I am going to blacklist this channel now.
This is purely a matter of personal opinion. When it comes to reliability most reports have 1. Lexus 2. Toyota 3. Mini 4. Acura 5. Honda 6. Subaru this might be the first time I’ve ever heard anyone say Subarus are “unreliable”. Basically, take what this schmuck says with a grain of salt 🤷🏻♂️
Wow I was surprise too see Subaru they’re always ranked high in reliability..
I see MANY Rogues on the road. My neighbor bought a new one in 2022. With 200 miles on it the motor went out. They asked her what she did to it. She was 81 and accepted the car when it was repaired with a new motor.
Post up some proof, or it didn't happen 😊

❤ my 2024 Camry Hybrid Nightshade Edition
0:26 I literally just rented one of those the other day. The engine and transmission felt and sounded like a 90’s Chrysler and the interior was so gnarly, I had to rush home to take a bath. The vehicle felt unwieldy and the suspension was rough. The RVR is horrible!
I’ve got a 2008 Nissan Altima that’s running great
I had a 96 Maxima. Great car in its day. Now I wouldn't touch any Nissan/Infiniti product.
I STILL HAVE MY 1996 LANCER STILL RUNNING, 2012 PATHFINDER AND 2017 NAVARA THEY ARE RELIABLE. MY NEXT VEHICLE WILL BE ARMADA. SUBARU THE ONLY JAPANESE BRAND I WILL NEVER BUY. BOXER TYPE ENGINE NOT FOR ME.
Exactly
I can't agree with Subaru being worse than Hyundai/Kia or domestic cars, though maybe that's not exactly what you meant here.
You forgot about the naturally aspirated V8 Nissan armada…..
Indeed
Nissan
Fiat
Mitsubishi
Mercedes
BMW
Jaguar
Land Rover
Pontiac

We have an Outlander and it’s been flawless. Considering they specialize in electronics I don’t know where you came to that conclusion. They’ve also built one of, if not the best PHEV’s on the market, which they’ve been making for over a decade. Best standard powertrain warranty in the world which shows confidence in reliability, in my opinion
We live once buy whatever your soul prefer.
That’s true, just know what’s up…..
Every brand is the same these days. They are all crap
Probably because of government intervention with unrealistic carbon emission regulation in such a short time.
I don't think Nissan confirmed it but reportedly discontinuing the Titan. I owned one. I liked the truck a lot and regret selling it but the new ones look very dated on the interior. I still think it's one of the best looking exteriors though.
In Europe they sold now Renault Clio rebadged as Mitsubishi Colt, so pure French car with Mitsubishi badge... 😂
And many Nissan models share platforms and engines with Renault too and even MB use some engines wich are same as some Renaults...
Nissan was great when it was pure Nissan without Renault-stuff...
