- #automobile Friends the truck has a bad TIPM. I have a kit to Install an external fuel pump relay but have not got to it yet. The truck has been running using a bypass cable in the fuse box. If I don't turn the key completely to the left the pump will take down the battery very quickly as is what I believe happened in this instance.

Glad it worked
I have 2 of them now one in my truck and one in my car.
Haha, brilliant video, Richard. If I had a dollar for every time that little gadget has saved my behind, I could upgrade my vehicle! 😆 The Gooloo name is unknown to me; around here, the go-to value brand for such devices is Ozito. 😃
I just put a 2nd one in my car. These are great devices
@@richardspaulding5035 That thing saved me again last week. My reliance on it is unusual, and a bit silly. The sensor to tell the car that the hatch is closed is not a discrete momentary switch, as the car doors are, it's built into the latch. It's malfunctioning and needs replacing; meanwhile, the car spontaneously thinks that the hatch is open even when it's properly closed, mechanically speaking. That could happen 5 minutes after you parked the car, or 5 hours later. But when it does, the car alarm goes off. And of course does not stop until you unlock the car. So I have to either park the car with one door half-seated (still locked, but slightly ajar), or for longer-term, e.g. overnight, take the relevant fuses out (horn, hazard lights, interior lights.) That means the car alarm still screams, but silently. If I don't use the car for several days, the battery drains. Yes I have to get onto the hatch latch issue. But that latch is a specialty item for a 2006 Integra. We're shopping for antiques. 🙄
@@lucasgroves137 We are all living this way these days as my cars are relics also. It has gotten so that I am afraid to answer the phone for fear it is a bill collector LOL.
