Easiest way I found to build a far away dock: Build a spare dock near you base. Then RELOCATE it to the new location. Workers willl dissmantle it and all the goods needed will appear at the new docks location. As they are doing that, set the new dock as a new outpost to avoid your workers running all over the map to try and build it. All you then need to do it useing a fast travel point move to the new location with a carpenters hammer and build it yourself. This way you don't need to carry any goods to the new dock nor worry that workers will die running through bandit camps to build it.
I built my T2 base in the usual spot near Haerndean, and then as soon as I hit T3, I built up right outside the Brigand HQ. There's a great big flat area just outside it on the north side. The key to this strategy is to either clear out the Brigands first, or to avoid attacking them, or liberating any settlements until that base is built up with a defensible force (as the Brigand faction will ignore you until you do). Now I don't have to travel anywhere to stop reclamation parties, as my soldiers meet them right at their front gate!
For the lake you noted as your second dock, I was able to set mine next to the fish vendor at the east end of the lake. I had my initial base quite close to that and it worked as my start point for a long time. I build my river docks by building a housing tent, camp chest and travel sign there, carry all the supplies there myself, then assign two builders from my settlement to that tent. I use the camp chest for a bit of food and the hammers they'll need as well as picks. Once the dock is finished I reassign the builders to base, remove the tent and re-set the chest to only hold picks. I have a "Travel Signs" settlement that all my docks, chests and travel signs belong to (except the one by my base), so that my workers from my village don't wander all over to deal with them. Then I didn't have to carry a bunch of those huge picks along most of the time. Each time I visited a dock I'd drop a pick or two in the chest so I always had one available (although certainly I could just use the travel sign to go get one.) I only needed 4 docks - the one close to my base, one at each of those two bridges, and the fourth was at the isthmus between Crasmere and the castle/prison lands. I have used that location for Crasmere reclamation parties, and also for Horndean. The lake northwest of Horndean is just as far a run, it seemed to me, since there aren't any roads between the town and the lake. By the way I have also had a reclamation party for Haerndean cross the river between the two bridges, just once. Generally controlling those two bridges protects all the towns other than Crasmere and Horndean.
There is a road south of Horndean that runs north to south, follow the road south to it's end and keep going down the hill to the coast. I've placed my dock there without too many issues.
That's a hard one, as I would have to do a new play through to find them all again. Try the Discord server and ask there I am sure I have seen people chatting about this topic
Yay another Aussie channel. Stumbled across ur channel so subbed.

Interesting idea, I will have to try that! Saves having to go anywhere lol

Before the big patch I use to get them crossing the water as well, have not seen that since thank god lol, thanks for sharing!

Do you get debuffs for 50 no s... How many you have From 1 village?
Ohhh I hope they don’t allow mods in this game in the future. I quit a lot of games because of mods.
Just don't use the Mods if you don't like them.
