Dr. Arjan Khalsa ( drarjan.com) shows you how to quickly make millet. This is part of a series of videos to give you the tools to quickly make healthy food.
I ordered 25lbs of millet and it is arriving today. It was the only bulk grain I could afford right now due to the massive inflation. Thank you for this video. All I know is that it is good for u and birds love it. 😀 so thx u for teaching me how to cook with it cuz otherwise I would have been confused 😀
If you’re going for health You should also soak it for 6 to 8 hours to help break down the layers and that way it can be easily digested and utilized otherwise it can cause some digestion issues as well. Also after rinsing it when you still get you should save that water to cook it in because it has a lot of nutrients in it
I cook et the night before, cover and leave on the stove, sort of like soaking. Next morning heat, take desired amount and refrigerate the rest. Can be eaten thin, souplike to stiff, oatmeal like. Lasts 3~4 days. Fast easy healthy.
I can watch your video 24/7, you look a very kind person, just watching your video i get full of pozitive energy! Thank you sharing all this recipe Doctor!
After trying it for the first time I can confirm that millet is awesome! Really, why haven't tried to break the dogma of wheat, barley and oats for so long? TO everyone who is hesitant - go for it, you won't lose anything. Millet is so tasty and versatile. You can do whatever you want with it.
you are right, I stoped using wheat and rice from today, it swells up my thyroid. Oats are for animals. Quinoa I also don't like, too weak. Just gonna substitute millet for everything.
Going to make and test this today. I have a terrible time with breakfast. I found several people for different recipes using mliet including milk. I'm not gluten-free pre-diabetic. Qunina spikes for me. I did make a seed bread unfortunately it really spiked. I will post the results. Thanks so much.
@@DRMORSEgreekwellville Not everything needs to be cooked and not everything needs to be raw. Who cares if it does or doesn't, unless you're a raw vegan.
