Dave and the band are so cool for letting these people do that during concerts..I think Dave really gets a kick out of it especially with guys like Richard and"Kiss Guy" if you've seen that dude jam to Monkey Wrench with them at a show..More importantly they realize that these are 10 minutes that these people are never gonna forget their whole entire lives!!
This is the perfect example of making things right in one in a lifetime opportunity. Now every band on this planet wants Richards as a drummer. Incredible performance.
Let me tell you, I was called up by godsmack at earth day birthday last year and when you get up to play you see the band, the crowd, the lights all the cameras and everything starts to just go numb and you just get this rush. It’s amazing, the feeling is incredible. Good job
"I looked at him, and I said, you KNOW this song! and he goes: I- "
classy move blefalojz, classy move.
Hahahahaha.. I got tired holding my camera in the air for the whole 10 minutes. :)
He said “I know all of your songs.”
blefalojz this should be pinned 😀
Thank you for this comment. And thank you to the OP for answering. I literally only came down here for this lol.
@@blef I figured that’s what he said!
Nice guy, hugging everyone! Too humble. By the way, very nice of him to let the FooFighters guys play at his show!
Dude he killed it. Took advantage of his moment. I would do the same as a drummer. Fantastic job bro. And Dave bro ur such a humble guy and an amazing artist.
We need to find this man now
This is absolutely fantastic. To play in front of that many people and kill it like that. Awesome!
That Dude will remember that forever....so cool of Dave to do that...
Okay, has there ever been a time when Dave calls someone up and they completely shit the bed? Because I swear the dudes kill it in all of them! Dave must have some sixth sense to pick out talented musicians lol
Haha, I don't think you would put yourself forward for that embarrassment if you couldn't play. I think you'd only come forward for doing it if you knew you could nail it
Justin Gonzalez it could be arranged beforehand, but who knows
@@iamacharliest valid point lol
@@willlame5597 true, lets just choose to believe its not :,-)
Justin Gonzalez Right! I’ve always wondered how that happens! Every single vid I’ve seen they get someone up and they’re always shit hot!! Even the little kid once, on the guitar!!
Isnt anyone going to comment on how good this recording is, perfect video and sound
Thank you very much. I did my best. :)
Words can’t describe my feelings right now! Thank you Foo Fighters, thank you
How wonderful that Taylor gladly gave up his drums. That takes love for music
Of all the videos of fans getting up on stage and playing with Foo Fighters, this one is definitely my favourite!
Dave gives people that moment of glory that theyll remember for the rest of their lives
Nobody can replace Taylor but this guy would make a great drummer
Richard from Manchester... mad respect kid... THAT is what you call clutch, ladies and gentlemen... Well done !!!
As someone who never played an instrument, i can only imagine the little effort grohl made that will have a big effect on that kids life. Good shit
Every once in awhile I come back to this video because it makes me happy.
As a fan, this is really big deal. Thank you Dave, thank you Taylor, thank you Foo Fighters! you let your fans to play with you this is so so huge for a fan.
Was on that concert. The best gig in my life. Especially from today's perspective❤️🙌
"When you feel like it's all over there's another round for you," that's my come back song 100%. I lost it all 8 years ago and made a hell of a come back. Foo fighters are awesome
That guy was awesome and will probably never ever forget that !
This version of the song has one of the most beautiful chord progressions I have heard. Literally could listen to Dave play the verse with no lyrics or drum backing while I nod gently to sleep.
Nobody is consistently a humble, cool and generous person/musician on the planet!! Never has forgotten what it is to be a fan
This is the first time I came across this video.. as a drummer this kid was awesome.. no kidding..he was in total control the whole song….that’s impressive being on someone else’s kit…just awesome…
Awesome Richard from Manchester.......That his how to grab the opportunity to shine. Loved it.
Dave is so generous I see him doing this more and more every show and I bet these kids get job offers soon as they get off stage all the time.
Well done Richard, well done Dave for letting him.. fantastic and from Manchester...... Alex.
