The sequence from 6:12 on, is heartbreaking. The look on Dave's face, followed by Chad's body language (after the song is done), speaks volumes. Thanks for uploading
Also the look on Chad’s face before when Dave said he and Taylor were super close. No smile. Like he’s just doing his best to make sure he gets through the song. I’ve lost a band mate, and subsequently lost it while playing and thinking about him. Idk how all those guys did it
The moments after the song ended as Chad stood up were so moving. You could just see the emotion take over. That’s true friendship and respect but more importantly…..LOVE.
The end of everlong with chad walking off was the embodiment of Taylor’s passing and it hit me hard. I saw the foos in Vancouver and I remember the joy Taylor played with. Rip buddy.
Chad and Taylor were brothers I always revisit that episode of cribs where they just rock up together like best bros. Share all the love u have to give and if is too much for someone, let them go to find less Never stop loving
Nah you crazy lol its 100% Flea don’t get me wrong I love all of them. You just got to listen to their music as the bass standouts in alote of their songs. Not alote of bass players can say that as their sound is mostly layered under the guitar. Even a newbie with shitty hearing can point out the bass playing.

Taylor Momsen manages to invoke the golden age Grunge vibe well, her voice is perfectly suited for all kinds of music, although it is sweet it manages to be raspy and grating at the same time. She does justice in every tribute she has been to date, she always ends up picking more than one song, all the musicians involved obviously enjoy collaborating with her. Hawkins' tribute she was a last minute guest and without rehearsing did two songs, Soundgarden's she was only going to do Loud Love, and got three more songs without rehearsing. She is one of the best things that happened to rock n roll in the last decade, a real gift.

That was so incredible, yet wrenching to watch. The only thing that saved me from a dark spiral was the thought that Will Ferrell is one hell of a drummer.
The way Chad did his best to hold back the tears and in the end couldn’t just broke me. You could see in his face that at that moment he was forced to realize once and for all that his friend is gone and that he has to go on living while he won’t. Losing someone you love is something you never get over, especially if that someone was such a beacon of light as Taylor Hawkins. I pray he is having the time of his life in Heaven and his family, loved ones, band mates and friends (I believe in his case those 4 are each one and the same) continue pushing forward, for him.
Chad is such a beast on the drums. To see him breath so deeply after the song is done, to see the inexplicable depth of emotions, to feel with him all the range of emotions he is experiencing…… no words can describe or express what Taylor meant to EVERYONE. Chad, your heart is huge and you’re so deeply appreciated.❤✌🏽🥁
Cant say I know of any other musician than Dave Grohl whos experienced more liss and always came ack stronger than him.. amazing musician & a great ambassador for American Rock N Roll
"Are you having fun? It's so weird to be asking that. But I think we should. We should be having fun. Chester would have wanted that, to be having fun". I always remember those (not exact) words by Mike Shinoda in the Chester Bennington Tribute, five years ago. Between the jumping, the crying, the serious moments and everything, I believe live music is to have fun and to express ourselves without any boundaries. With Taylor we also had tons of fun, jumped, screamed, lost our voices and cried. I think that by having fun we're truly celebrating the life of Taylor Hawkins, and Chester Bennington, and so many others. But fucking hell I won't deny that I cried during those final drum hits in Everlong.
The Eagles brought on Glenn Frey's son Deacon for 4+ years, WVH played bass in VH for while, maybe Foo brings in the young Shane for a few gigs. All the blessings to the amazing Taylor from Ft. Worth TX.
I always thought Dave was the greatest drummer there is, but listening to Peppers new album, he is monster on the drums, and he is 60 years old...increadible
I was sitting right around where you were sitting. Maybe a little higher up. We had a great view! IDK how David made it through that show. Man he must have been tired. Even higher level of respect for him!
Dave Grohl, you are a super drummer yourself, thank you for continuing with Foo Fighters.
But fucking hell I won't deny that I cried during those final drum hits in Everlong.
the last part when chad looks back at the stage breaks my haert
There are no words…I was deeply moved 😢❤
everyone misses taylor, and chad is great!
The Eagles brought on Glenn Frey's son Deacon for 4+ years, WVH played bass in VH for while, maybe Foo brings in the young Shane for a few gigs. All the blessings to the amazing Taylor from Ft. Worth TX.
This really shows Chad's versatility. He can do funk, and even did Dua Lipa's drums.
This is bittersweet 🫶🏼 I love Dave so much❣️ Praying for these guys 🙏🏼
Everybody loves Taylor and he unites everyone.
Taylor the forever legend we the fans will miss you but never forget you. Dave, G see you on tour again please! Thank you
So hard to watch Chad but who else ❤His whole family and friends #everlong
I always thought Dave was the greatest drummer there is, but listening to Peppers new album, he is monster on the drums, and he is 60 years old...increadible
You can see the heartbreak on there faces, especially dave and chad at the end.
Nice vid....a little from the seat, a little from the in house shots.....thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it
Chad work is just amazing on this song. The true tribute played by friend. And i think Chad is somehow underrated.
I was sitting right around where you were sitting. Maybe a little higher up. We had a great view! IDK how David made it through that show. Man he must have been tired. Even higher level of respect for him!
I really love how the sound guys let everything ring out throughout the end.
Dave Grohl, you are a super drummer yourself, thank you for continuing with Foo Fighters. Doing with your super great colleagues, the Foo Fighters must not go under
Like most... so much emotion in this song... sometimes makes me smile, sometimes makes me cry.. regardless.. one of my favorite songs of all time!!! Until we meet again my friends!!!!!!!!
They’ve had some amazing drummers at this tribute.
Josh Freese and Chad were my favourites
So great to see all these people come out for the drummer. Taylor was great!!!!
Chad was over come with emotion, just walks off 😢
I love Chad to bits ❤
Love you foo. Forever in our hearts Taylor ❤
I have to da Mr. Gave because spellcheck sucks, but I love you all. I was raising babies when you came out but I found you now and can’t wait to see you in Dallas. I will be sad to miss Taylor but have seen your love and it fills my heart. Thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
I’ve decided that seeing FF live is on my bucket list. I officially just started my Bucket List though. So So far, that’s all I’ve got. 🤷♀️😊
Chad’s raw reflection……😔
Beautiful tribute😢 two of the many rock goats. Very cool thanks for sharing this!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
6:52 I'm not sure if it's me but it looks like Chad might realize this could be the last time we hear from Foo Fighters for a very long time or possibly ever again.
I hope not 🥺😣
This is beautiful! I've been looking for this view for a few days and you got it! Than k you so much for sharing this love we all feel! XOXO Bless you Taylor!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Chad es un tipo brutal en la bateria❤❤❤
I can't imagine the feeling that Dave must have i mean, the guy went already thru being in one of the greatest band in Nirvana being a drummer & losing his frontman vocalist then form another band this time he's the frontman & loses his drummer. What must be going on in his mind at that time i wonder.
Always loved Nirvana, always loved the Foo Fighters.
Long may he rock in heaven 🦅RIP Taylor
