That code is associated with the wire harness to this part..when u take it off look at the wires on the connector they are knowing for dying out causing p0010
What was wrong with the car before the replacement? My 07 Impala is only reving up in drive but is smooth as can be in reverse idk what to do i added trans fluid and did and oil change too
@@mt406mechanics finally got it out and replaced!! That was a pain!! Now to do camshaft and crankshaft sensors!! Uggghh this 07 impala is becoming a Big Pain!! Lol but thanks for the video!! Rlly helped. Best one I'd seen!!
@brianbarrigar9461 no. I would think, you'll have to pull the motor out/up at an angle? And change the whole part. Mine is just sitting in the yard. I was told you could run it like that, but THATS not true
Can the spool be replaced at this point or do you have to tear engine down? Thank you for any help.
What if the spool valve is not out? Does this mean the camshaft needs to be replaced
Great video! Any chance this will work for a p0010?
Yes, it could. Give it a try

Is this the part that makes the Traction Control randomly kick in automatically while driving 60 on the hwy?
What if that pin doesn't pop back out when you push it?

Pertruding
Then this video won't apply and you will have a more labor intensive repair
So what if the pin is stuck in? What do we do? Is the motor shot?
Did you ever get an answer? Mine is bad,not sure what to do. Thank you
