Did you replace both or just the one in the back? Have the same problem but when I’m driving for about 20 mins it’s starts jerking and feels like it wants to turn off.thanks
2011 Camaro SS L99 engine. Check engine light is not comes on, however, error P0011-00 constantly sits in the ignition system chapter in the ECM. Also in 8 cases of 10 I have "Service Stabilitrak" message that comes on during cranking then dissapear. To eliminate it I crank starter slightly longer that usual. As I know, P0011-00 is related to the VVT sprocket and / or timing chain and / or camshaft position. Do you have any thoughts on this?
Your videos are helpful all times thanks for them🙏 but i need help if you can please! My car Peugeot 107, P0010 cod have no connection to VVT-ventil. I check it with digital diagram and there no connection in the cable/ lin. I don’t know how to fix the lin?
Have a 2009 Chevy Impala I got a code p0011 advanced timing you know the rest I changed the magnet or another name is camshaft actuator and as soon as I done that there's a real loud noise what's going on
Sup guy . So I've changed the VVT solenoids . Both camshaft sprockets . The camshaft position sensors . And an oil change and I still get p0011 popping up
@@devonstarrspacejam3694 nothing . I've even swapped vvt solenoids from exhaust to intake and still get the same code for intake side . I'm at a loss . Everything has been changed short of the head and cam lol
I had same code on my Australian model Cruze, turned out it was low oil pressure caused by broken 1 way valve which is situated below oil filter element, quite common that these break, have you any videos on replacing this valve , thanks
I believe the valve you are referring to is simply just the oil pressure switch, otherwise known as oil pressure solenoid or oil sending unit. Many different names refer to the same part - this part is very close to the oil filter, just like you alluded to, and it is also a part that seems to go bad on these GM engines quite often. Perhaps this is the part you meant, if not, disregard my suggestion. Happy diagnosing, and good luck everyone!
Could be wiring, or the vvt solenoid, low oil or sludge in the engine. Could be the cam actuator or the timing chain stretched. It kind of all depends if the cars oil change services have be done regularly like it should have been. Obviously diagnosis of the vehicle will tell you what’s wrong..
I messed up and forgot to put oil car turned off on me while I was driving and figured out I need oil didn't oil change the next day was running okay but it kept turning off I have to driving 10 minutes or so I had a cold p0011 so I changed the magnet or the camshaft actuator soon as I done that it was a loud banging clicking noise I was still able to drive the car I'm still able to start the car but it turns off like within three blocks do I have a bad actuator
sounds like you locked the motor up. If the car ran out of oil, that will cause the motor to seize up. Noises and the car turning off randomly usually come first, then the car will eventually not start at all. Have a mechanic look at it
@@Ken-1 when did I lock the motor up the car ran fine after I did the oil change except it kept turning off while driving my husband said you have a code p0011 the car turned off a total of one time per day and then I stopped driving it and I tried again the next day I gave in and change the magnet thing and this loud noise is just driving me crazy
Does not solve my issue once so ever. When i replaced my old intake vvt solenoid with a brand new one the dreaded p0011 code came on then i replaced my camshaft sensor just incase still had the code and check engine light on at a p0011 then i thought heck maybe it is my pcv valve bought a new one replaces it. Still throwing the check engine light and a p0011 code even after clearing the codes and doing a oil and oil filter change still have the dreaded p0011 code even checked the wiring for voltage and voltage was there with dc volts checked with both pins inside the connector on each side. i do not think anyone on youtube can accuarately describe or even find a fix for the issue bause i have found no video at all that solves this issue of the p0011 code.
Any solutions I changed everything have good oil pressure even changed pick up o ring. Every few weeks my truck turns off and is very hard to start. When on it works perfectly
