cool video! Your truck didn't break down. All your doors rolled up like normal. No customers refusing cases, asking why you're so late, complaining about the salesman, or the prices. Nobody yelled at you to move your truck. Seems you didnt have any cvs's on your route that only have 2 people working and they're both on the register so you're waiting 20 minutes just to get scanned. Lol I could go on and on
Thought only my branch went through this lol man tell me about it we are just drivers and that's it
And don't forget them dollar general stores ughhhhh
His handheld didn’t freeze up, his handhelds battery didn’t mysteriously die when it said full, his printer battery didn’t die either
M C. You didn’t get a customer who came out and warn you/ tell you he’s not accepting orders until you have your cool Lyft in the store 😂😂
Or rite aids that always mess up the check ins lol
I'm one of the few female drivers for Coca Cola. I've driven the 16 bay trailer as well as the 35' and 45' trailers. I love my job because I see something new everyday. I love the responsibility and independence my job provides. Sure there are challenges but I am proud to have overcome them and I am a better person for it.
your name is Nancy and you're not only a Coke driver, but a FEMALE driver. thanks for clearing that up.
Do you make $ tho?
@@georgiaboytj 85 cents to the dollar.
Thanks for this comment, I wanted a female perspective on this position. I have a interview tomorrow. I have my Class A. I noticed the driver merchandiser drives trucks smaller than a 53ft, which is great when delivering to stores
@@ebo5236 a 53 full of soda would be too heavy and time consuming
I did this job for quite a while. It is not easy. It is hard ass labor. I have much respect for these guys
I do that job and I'm no guy. I also work 10-12 hour days and I'm 55 years old. Right now it's winter here in Canada so that's an added challenge. It keeps you in shape and I feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.
Not really they get to be in the road meanwhile other stress themselves to be in the same building for the whole day
I bet this dude drinks Pepsi when the camera isn’t rolling
thaintriguing1 I drank coke when I worked for Pepsi lol
ColbyG coke is better
I sold for RC/7UP back in 96-98 and I drank the hell out of some Dr. Pepper which was a Coca-Cola product here.
I literally don't know a single person that drinks Coca Cola.
Prolly spit it out and chugs a gallon of water
That old ford tractor is so badass! Awesome you finally got this video re-uploaded
A day in the life of a Coca cola driver?? Shouldn't this video be about 12 hours long??
Sometimes 13 hours lol
Not if your fast !
Only a hour difference might as well pick up an hour of double time
Depends on facility most our drivers only work about 9 hours.
@@cmb9059 Reyes just cut our over time, same here 8-9 hours daily except for holiday weekends we get hit with a million reloads
Well this dude looks like he loves his job.

If only it went that smooth with all the receivers! Lol!
@Mister Carnitas Yup you got it right.
Yeah it’s usually a shit show. On premise is a little different from large chain grocery though. I was a merchandiser and supervisor for Pepsi for 7 years. Recently got out of it because I’m burnt out from grocery. Thankless job
Look at that Oldschool truck, I remember seeing these a lot as a child, great job and hard work buddy thank you so much!!
Worked here for three years. Good company to get your CDl training. Put your time in and get out while you can. They will work you to the bone and they underpay you, not to mention they don’t put money into their equipment and trucks. truck drivers beware. This isn’t a job for a truck drivers looking to put in miles and make money. If you like physical labor and corporate bullshit this is the place for you.
At Coca Cola your just another number
besides the vehicle in this video what other vehicles do they have?
@@SalsHQ their trucks are shitty. They don’t put money in them.
@@SalsHQ mostly freighliners and fords
@@RIDEreviewRELOAD I've read this same comment from other people 😂 Coca Cola sounds like the complete opposite of Walmart drivers, Walmart invest a lot into their trucks & all other machines to make life easier for the people working
Very nice video, I use to work for Coca-Cola back in the 90's... it's good to see how some still take pride in their work. I haven't seen drivers rotate let alone face the product. Good stuff I miss this type of work but not sure I'd be able to do it now as I'm getting older lol
I've been looking into switching from OTR to local driving and found a coca cola job listing online. Think I'm gonna go for it after watching this. Thanks for the upload!
How'd it go?
@@rdg760jr2 Reached out to them and they wanted to hire me in my area but I went with a different driving job.
In Australia, coca-cola and other drink delivery drivers don't stock the fridges in the stores. They just deliver. We store attendants do the stocking.
That is how it should be. These drivers do the work of 2 people
@@ThisThingCalledLifethat’s why they make decent money
It’s called a vendor job . vendors deliver goods and services which is what he is doing . delivering the goods ( coke) and providing a service (stocking the product on the shelves)
It all depends on which Coke you work at and how it's managed. I would've still been working for them if it were this simple.
Damn I do not miss those days. I was with Pepsi Beverages. I worked all the west los angeles area, hollywood, santa Monica, beverly hills, korea town, west hollywood, mid city, silverlake, highland park, glendale, atwater village.
14-20 stops a day on 16bay sideloader 450 to high 500 on average to 600+ to high 800's cases in the summer. Typical days were 9.5 hours. I always did 12+ to make it worth my time. This job isnt for those who want to be a runner there is no money and you will just burn your body . I was paid 28.40 out of Sanfernando CA. They paid time and a half plus double time . Never made under 80k .
Did you invest in the company stock ?
Hey, where you said:
This job isn't for those who want to be a runner there is no money and you will just burn your body....
and then later you said you made no less than 80K
Man most around barely make 27,000 a year.
Let me ask. (Not being ugly) But rather out of humor my friend: Are you a millionaire that had to work ....and want to run instead of working? HaHa.....Be Cool...
@@mrsunshine9948 wow $27k? broken into a 40 hour week, that's like $13/hr. I'm in the hiring process for Dr. Pepper here in Texas and they're paying $22/hr..
@@trclark7689 just retired from Pepsi in Tacoma Wa we were getting $29.
i have the same job at Coca Cola Europacific Partners and like Brian i still do its with all my passion. greatest company to work for!!
i like how all the bays are empty!! try reality! when you leave the yard with 1300 + cases!
Shut up
Umm u must be at one shitty coke distributor if you're doing over 1300 cases especially in a fucking sideload 😂😭💩 sideload for us back when we use to do that (now RD with lift gate) we did like 300-400 cases.
This is the professional look of a true LTL Coca Cola drivers look...
This guy is my hero..I wanna work for Coke!😛
No you don’t it’s a shitshow. They don’t show all the behind the scenes crap you have to put up with. See above comment
I'm surprised a truck that old is in that good of shape and that a large company like Coke would be running it. Figured it would be an under 10 year old Freightliner.
Oh I loved this video, fab look into your day!
Start driving for Coca Cola soon. Pretty excited
How was the interview like? I have an interview coming up for driver merch and want to be prepared
How’s it going now?
@@adrianaarredondo9387 how did it go for you?
@@adrianaarredondo9387 did you end up getting the job ?
I’ve been a driver and a merchandiser for Pepsi and Budweiser..I prefer beer not as much singles..the singles suck..but then again I’d rather deliver soda..not as much glass lol..this job has its ups and down as most jobs but it is a good job and will always be around!i have an interview at coke this Tuesday!
Side bays are terrible especially in crappy weather lol
I just checked my School folder and they shared this video as well!!
brain looks so happy doing what he do
Wow! Positive attitude like that. Shit who Dare to complain about a day's work 💯
Wow a ford? You don’t see those a lot!
Where’s the arguments with store clerks and owners??? Or waiting 20 minutes to check in the order because the clerk can’t leave register because one customer is in the store. Delivering to corner stores is garbage!
Soo beautiful beautiful Video!!!!!!! Great job.... guys... you have nace Weekends!!!!!!!!!!
Dig that old school L9000.
Nice commercial at the end😂😂😂
Brian, where do you work now 6 yrs later?
@@bigrigpro763 he’s probably selling cars.
You have to hand-truck everything? That's brutal.
It's a great workout
I am trailer truck driver.. I love your work.. budy really really love .. I wish work your country to work same like your job.
All these day in the life are biggest coke ads ever
I was offered this job today. They said 6am to 6pm. Don’t know if I want to do 12 hours everyday. That means everyday you got to be on. He said something like 12 cases so I’ll take this weekend to think this offer over.
What'd you end up doing?
Yes tell us
Seems like a good daytime position, but I love Dr Pepper too much to betray them like that 🤯🤣
Some areas coke distributes dr.pepper. like mine does so u would be good 😂
Wish my co-workers love their job as much as I do :( food bank
Why does he have to stock the stores?
I worked for philly coke and their equipment was trashed. The warehouse sucked so bad. Cases were missing all the time. The sales guy would sell way more then what customer ordered. Philly coke which is now liberty coke is a horrible
Sucks you guys gotta merch. Im with 7up in the Bay Area and I dont merch any product. Just drop and go...
Depends where our drivers only have to merch family dollars and that's basically it every thing else they just drop and go.
@@cmb9059 Its weird seeing a sideload Coca Cola truck. There are none in the Bay Area, all backloaders.
@@mncalapati415 yeah we dont have any of those anymore either.
@@cmb9059 I like being a sideload truck driver. I can do the route the way I wana run it. Starting at 3am and being done by 8:30-9am feels pretty good. Still get paid my 8 hours.
@@mncalapati415 nice! Do they pay you route evaluated hours?
I don't really see a lot of Coca-Cola Vans it's more of the big trucks
It appears as though you have pocket loads. That would have been so nice when I worked at Pepsi
Tell me about worked at Pepsi in Pensacola Florida must have walked around that truck a 1000 times
Interested
I work at coca cola building the pallets he's taking
I miss loading side load we don’t have in Chicago location anymore
0:59 Look at that attitude stare almost like saying silently, "I'm packing heat and not scared from you or anybody to use it on anybody ".
i jst hired by coke what a great product and a awesome company. ill be working at the Albany NY distribution center
Do you have any tips, I have an interview for driver merch this week and want to be prepared! I have my CDL A
How much usually stops you have to do? I heard i can stay everyday at home instead of long trips through states but little bit less salary and again how do they pay for 4 weeks or a month? If I deliver containers for supermarkets and per week i get 700€ in Netherlands….i would appreciate the aswers.
You didn't mention the shit pay you get and mention that you are over worked
Song?
This looks like a cool job 🙌
I'm a Red Bull driver and man.... lol why am I watching this? Same church, different pew :P
Hell no I work for Red Bull no where near the same they do double
@@fabiancastaneda6579 how is working for red bull?
Wow you guys use Ford's. We use international and peterbilt
God I love this video
I think its cool that coke and you have taken care of that old ford truck there are not too many of them left! At least in that style of tractor
I have a quick question... is the process the same if you are working for a beer company?. I just got a job with Budweiser in modesto California.... I'm just waiting to go to oriantation and then training... watching to get some what of an idea
I run Telsell here in TN, and we don't stock anything lol. I'd go 4 Day Cool Lift before doing Telsell while having to stock.
Do employees get free Coke? If you are smart enough and healthy enough to get a cdl why would you want to unload and stock thousands of pounds of soda each day?
There’s something about delivering to stores that’s actually fun. Thought I hated it before I moved to the service department, I miss it every day I’m working.
You're also lucky don't have a camera in the truck facing you. we do up here in Michigan
Keary Leon Was that a part of Reyes’ idea?
Thankless job, making the rich, richer. I work for them as well. This driver went all out for the camera, drivers never stock...
@Roscoe Dogg Washington. But really this dude is like JJ Watt, does everything for the camera.
I worked for Pepsi and Budweiser, both companies and all drivers merchandised everything we delivered. I wouldn’t classify all drivers just because y’all don’t
Wish that was true.
@@TheColbles2009 especially Budweiser. Better have that code book with you at all times. Rotate, stock.
@@TheColbles2009 I did this for 17 years working for Canada Dry in Philly - South Jersey area. When I first started there in 1996 we didn't merchandise anything. As time went on we were required to do some merchandising, particularly in Wawa's and drug stores.
27 yrs as truck driver. almost 20 of them in NYC doing literally ALL kind of deliveries. Now living in FL. CC of FL the WORST company I ever worked.
Gotta say. I wish pepsi had routes with stops that small lol. I love working for coke.
Great job ✌️& thanks man ✌️
Hold on, didn't Coke start up an initiative for their employees to act ahem "less white?"
What watch is he wearing?
A good week for me is 70 hours since it’s hard to keep drivers here.
Where are you located?
Awesome vid man. I work for Coca Cola also.
Old ford still working?
Great video! Would love to see more. What camera/ editing software do you use?
Atlanta doesn’t use those type of side bays anymore
How much do they start drivers out in lawrenceville??

I didn't know Ford made semis
You know it got to be a boring day if I am actually gonna watch a Day in the life of a Fuckin Coca Cola dude!
Now if the gas station workers did it, they drinks would look like crap, they just sit on there a** all day you go in there to buy a drink, always in grouchy mood in my town.

This guy drinks so much pop and probably too much chewing tobacco that he clears his throat every 10 seconds.
Jimmh_the_guy guess you never had any allergies, or you just like assuming the worst
Oh my Gosh!!
@@TheColbles2009 It isn't from allergies it is from acid reflux.
Owl Lover there isn’t anywhere in this video that shows him chewing tobacco. That claim came out of thin air and invalidates the rest of the statement.
@@TheColbles2009 I thought I saw him with a puffed bottom lip packing chew. I made this comment over a year ago and maybe I was wrong. Not going to go look for it though. At least you guys have nice trucks here in Utah we drive piece of crap internationals
I'm a big fan of Coke have fun have a Coke and a smile
