Coke is especially notorious for how poorly they respect merchandisers time. Not only are you not given time for lunch, let alone a break, but you will be so busy throwing merch you won't have time for one! Expect to work tons of overtime, and have no life man.
Sales Reps or AD's come in and look at the shelf and the backstock and make the orders. But there is a system in their tablets that basically suggests what they should order that is based off of sales.
Jeff Miracle as a merchandiser you don’t need a CDL license because you drive store to store using your own personal vehicle. Depends, I worked at Pepsi for 7 years. Merching can be a brutal and thankless job. Our start time was 4:30am until the job gets done, summer and holidays you’re working 50+ hours a week. Glad it got out of the industry into a job I’m happy in.

For merchandising, warehouse and driving. The have something were merchandiser and salesreps do both and some of them in good areas make good money but they still have normal merchandisers also
I have 2 buddies that work for Coca-Cola as a merchandiser and I will tell you it is a physically demanding hard job there are their pros and cons every job but be ready to pull very heavy palates to the floor stores have time lines where they will and won't let you on the floor with merchandise it's constantly a very physical position so keep that in mind this is not a gravy position position I'm really surprised the sky gets away with doing his videos and Coca-Cola is not on him about his productivity best of luck to anybody who does this that's young man's work or young ladies work I'm just telling you from personal experience it's not an easy job. As a merchandise where they are taught to spin the bottles with a label space forward when someone walks down the aisle The Bible should be spun to represent the item with the flow of the aisle it's all about attention to details and doing the job and rotation so you can't throw New pop on top of old pop because your boss may do a spot check on you and will identify who is not rotating and that will become an issue and you will lose your job or steps there too lose it. There is also time spent in the back room condensing product rotating to a is rotating to ensure the oldest product goes to the sales 4 while the newest product sits in backstock you are constantly condensing your assigned area. Is responsible for typically sweeping some stores even have you map that area I can tell you from personal experience Walmart is picky. There is your freedom with this job as you get to go store to store but I guarantee you. You are always being tracked.
Bro, you guys down south have so many miscellaneous flavors. We just got core and some misc. flavors, but nothing like you guys. I bet your loads are like 10-12 pallets a store. That's alot of small details too.
Depends on the store and time of year. Right now in NC we are getting an average of between 4 and 6 pallets a day at each store that has a truck. Sometimes 8 if the store is bigger like Walmart. The summertime is when things ramp up a little for sure.
Basic questions. Why do you want to work for coke? What makes you better than other candidates, name a time you went above and beyond at work. And probably tell a time when there was issue at work, how you solved it, and how did you use your time wisely?
Bro try to get out of this company. They don’t treat their employees right. They will low ball you on mileage reimbursement and overtime. You will never feel appreciated with all the hard work you do. I was a merchandiser for Coke for five years and worked really hard. When Reyes took over everything got worse. Everyone either quit or they let them go. Go work for Pepsi or 7up they promote really fast.
Brandyn Mancinas Bro pepsi and 7up ain’t any better after a while it sucks ass in general I worked for 7up two years and one year pepsi same shit at the end of the day and like you said they don’t appreciate and low ball you I started making 13$ hour at 7up and did hardcore overtime and stores no joke and made it up to 17 but they would make me drive an hour away for work and they would start my mileage reimbursement at the first store past 55 miles! I would lose money just to go to work. Plus they don’t pay you or car maintenance like all the miles you rack up on your car. Not worth it at all and Pepsi has you work like 10 days straight with 1 day off mandatory cause of their shit contract
Holy shit that’s low. The 4 day guys where I am at start out 140 and the 5 day is around 120. The guys in my areas where I transferred from tho made 150 a day starting out
Stick to part time cause this day rate bullshit sucks , it's nice when some days when i get done in 4 hrs and get paid for 8 but i rarely have those kind of days i worked 12 hrs today and only got paid for half of it its a bunch of bologna how you literally get paid half for staying over i stayed over 4 hrs of work just to get 2 hrs of pay lol think i might need to go to frito lay
Coca Cola fucked me over. I live in Tampa Florida and was paid 14.57 an hour and .51 cents every mile I drove. Plus they changed the position to sales Merchandiser where I would have to basically order the product and merchandise the product. Pepsi and Dr Pepper keurig who I now work for both have a higher base pay with not near as much product to move. Coca Cola (at least where I live) works your ass into the dirt without showing any respect or mention of your hard work.
I'm about to go for a job fair in coca cola, I wanted to change my chicken factory job for something else and I'm hoping this might work better for me I'm a guy ho likes to do his job without anyone bothering (mainly co workers), I love jobs that are all about managing an area and moving supplies
it's a easy job but a lot of work i work 10-12 hrs a day its sucks , that might not be the case for you though if your sales rep actually knows what they are doing and doesn't order a shit ton for you at all 4 of your stops. The sales reps where im at are garbage at ordering besides 1 of them
Just a bit of advice, consider turning your music down some while you're talkin. I had the volume up loud and could barely hear you speaking the music drowns your voice because you speak low.
Yeah most merchandisers work weekends besides high seniority, some with a couple years can get sunday and monday depending on location but Saturday is pretty much only for top dogs.. and pay varies on facility also, mine was at like 18 n hour and 19n hour if u were a available upgrade with a cdl and 20 n hour for people that been there for a long time but everyone gets same yearly raises.

Depends, I worked at Pepsi for 7 years. Merching can be a brutal and thankless job. Our start time was 4:30am until the job gets done, summer and holidays you’re working 50+ hours a week. Glad it got out of the industry into a job I’m happy in.
Im a merchandiser for Dr. Pepper and I love my job. It’s easy but at the same time it takes time.
Raimond I was just hired for that position for Keurig Dr Pepper. Definitely looking forward to starting
Any tips for new hires?
Homerking111 find a trade there’s no pride in stocking sodas
Appreciate your video bro i start on the 15
Pretty much bullshit huh ?? They should add two people to every store for all the shit they have and things you have to build
@@prettyboiJustin how much is the pay tho?
I hate how those coke 12 packs are locked san Leandro does that
Used to work for Coke won’t say which one but left and went to Pepsi...best choice I ever made...work can be hard but the pay is there...respect tho 👌🏼 not everybody can handle this job
Each facility can be different most pepsi guys in my area wish they were at coke.
For merchandising, warehouse and driving. The have something were merchandiser and salesreps do both and some of them in good areas make good money but they still have normal merchandisers also
You have to use your POV?
👍👏👌💪
Bro, you guys down south have so many miscellaneous flavors. We just got core and some misc. flavors, but nothing like you guys. I bet your loads are like 10-12 pallets a store. That's alot of small details too.
Depends on the store and time of year. Right now in NC we are getting an average of between 4 and 6 pallets a day at each store that has a truck. Sometimes 8 if the store is bigger like Walmart. The summertime is when things ramp up a little for sure.
How much do they pay u hourly?
+Angel Guerra I get paid by the day! It’s different in each area
Coca cola 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
in chester county Pa we sell dr pepper #Abartacocacola
What was the interview like?
Basic questions. Why do you want to work for coke? What makes you better than other candidates, name a time you went above and beyond at work. And probably tell a time when there was issue at work, how you solved it, and how did you use your time wisely?
I work for Coca Cola as a merchandiser for like 6 months. I don’t know why I waited so long to quit that job worst job ever
Same that job was fucking nonsense modern day slavery.
What’s the starting pay out there in your area?
22.50 PepsiCo union also
PureChaoZz Pepsi doesn’t pay 22.50 hourly for Merchandisers. In Tampa Florida it’s 15.50
@@brandonball5971 ok good for you. I'm not in weak ass Florida. So thank you for your input. I'm in Cali, Pay is alot better out here.
@@brandonball5971 how is merchandising in tampa i just applied
Kasper Reaper Coca Cola is 14.57 pepsi is 15.60 and Dr Pepper keurig is 15.00 which is 7up. I work for 7up now
What's the pay like am in Sarasota FL
+Henry Pastor check out my previous video I posted.

Took the words right out of my mouth.!My ears are bleeding from listening too hard trying to hear him. 💯
I don’t know if you will ever see this message . Was the pay and hours like? I’m trying to get hired there
+HunChO JaCk It really depends on where you stay.
Man, all the packaging changed so much over the last 3 years. I was a coke merch for 2.5 years, now I am a driver merch.
yeah i wish they would’ve kept the sprite zero packaging blue it was nice lol
What’s the difference between driver merchandiser and bulk driver ?
Bulk driver just drops off the product and the driver merchandiser has to drop off and merch the product
Blocking the signage....okay...and not putting the load down on the floor when its on a pallet jack to avoid any safety concerns.
Im a coke merchantiser its 10years for me now sometimes its just boss whos not treating ther stuff with respect
I switched to 7up and I’m in training right now. Already can tell I’m gonna love it.
Coke pays well in my area ....
Is that the stores music? Catchy ass tune.
No it’s our music we put in the video lol
Man I dont miss this job at all. 10-14 hour days, heavy ass work, early morning, noooo thank you.
nickwick35 I have a easy route I have two neighborhood with no back stock and a food lion and Harris teeter
@@throughtheeyesofrico518 you're lucky. everyday i had no idea where I was going until hours before i had to leave
nickwick35 Sounds like you’re lazy
Anthony Ramos lmao you can break your back all you want. The pay isnt even close to what it should be for the work you do
nickwick35 how much were you making? i was making 15.50 , 10 hour days, 3 days off
Those WM neighborhood stores are super easy to work lol. What is your guys day rate out there
rio rio 106 a day
Holy shit that’s low. The 4 day guys where I am at start out 140 and the 5 day is around 120. The guys in my areas where I transferred from tho made 150 a day starting out
Wow man that’s crazy
Doerico Sutton I am part time tho so I make 11$ an hour
Stick to part time cause this day rate bullshit sucks , it's nice when some days when i get done in 4 hrs and get paid for 8 but i rarely have those kind of days i worked 12 hrs today and only got paid for half of it its a bunch of bologna how you literally get paid half for staying over i stayed over 4 hrs of work just to get 2 hrs of pay lol think i might need to go to frito lay
Nice job
Thank you
+Lisa Covington thanks so much
Coca Cola fucked me over.
I'm about to go for a job fair in coca cola, I wanted to change my chicken factory job for something else and I'm hoping this might work better for me
I'm a guy ho likes to do his job without anyone bothering (mainly co workers), I love jobs that are all about managing an area and moving supplies
it's a easy job but a lot of work i work 10-12 hrs a day its sucks , that might not be the case for you though if your sales rep actually knows what they are doing and doesn't order a shit ton for you at all 4 of your stops. The sales reps where im at are garbage at ordering besides 1 of them
I think your daily rate should be determined by what kind of route you have , more sales on your route … you should make more money ! JMO
i see you on ever coca cola merchandiser video i think i saw you comment on a frito lay and pepsi video too
What do coke requires?
+Angel Guerra just some experience in like stocking jobs really
Just a bit of advice, consider turning your music down some while you're talkin. I had the volume up loud and could barely hear you speaking the music drowns your voice because you speak low.
I work for Reyes Coke and i hate my job. I work on weekends and make $15.50 an hour
What state are you in?
I got offer .15 cent per mileage
man you didn't rotate the Christmas packaging out
Not a good idea to put Christmas package under the standard,,,, unless you want Christmas packages in March
Wished Coke 12 packs are 9 months out and they was moving pretty fast at that time!
Do you need CDL.?
To be a merchandiser no
10:09 You didn't rotate the Christmas wrap!!!!!
Jose Lopez lol they still 9 months out
Nice observation 🤣🤣
How many hours do you last at one store my boyfriend lasted 5 hours once.
It depends that don’t always happen but I normally be in a store between 1 and 2 hours
@@MTSFam only a big walmart you should spend more than 2 hours ... Like 3 - 6 hours in big Wal-Mart depending on the volume
Peyton Ledwell every store is different but they do take long
Peyton Ledwell he took 8 hours today you think he is just too slow or might need help
I think 8 hours is too long don’t y’all think
I'm going in tomorrow for interview..any tips?
Daniel Roma I would say I’m willing to get the job done! And I am willing to take responsibility to the stores that I am assign too!
@@MTSFam Awesome, thanks!
Daniel Roma your welcome
+Meet The Sutton’s and I pray you get the job!
You have a nice receiver at Walmart !
me too
Not really… happy new years now get to work what’s happy about the new year fuck this job.
