I always knew I could do something with them but my living situation has caused me to cut down on how much sewing I do. I love reusing jeans made a nice jacket with jean scraps in different sizes stitched onto an old denim shirt with the zigzag stitch around the edges people thought I bought it. The only thing I hate is many companies are adding spandex to denim fabric old school me likes the original cotton jeans

I finally found a pair of snap up track pants!! Can’t wait to make them! I’m also going to make the jeans that are cut vertically, with other jeans cut and sewn to the outside of the leg.
Great video ❤❤ There are definetly a few pairs in my archive I could rework. I have made wide leg and bell bottom, next should be a side panel to make them wider with lacing over it for the goth factor.

You've inspired me to get a sewing machine. I had one in high school and stupidly threw it away before going to college. I'm reteaching myself how to use it, but my bobbin thread keeps breaking.
Hmmm 🤔 Is the bobbin top loading or does it have a metal bobbin case? Maybe the bobbin thread isn’t in the right slot or the tension may need adjusting.

Love that top your wearing looks like something that is sold in clothing boutiques your very talented. I love reusing jeans made a nice jacket with jean scraps in different sizes stitched onto an old denim shirt with the zigzag stitch around the edges people thought I bought it. The only thing I hate is many companies are adding spandex to denim fabric old school me likes the original cotton jeans

I got thrifted children's fleece pants to make a large adult winter hat. I put the pants 👖 on my head upside down and the legs make a scarf. Q: How can I make sure it doesn't look like I am wearing upsidedown 👖 pants? I want the hat to cover my ears but not my forehead, like a baby's bonnet.

I finally found a pair of snap up track pants!! Can’t wait to make them! I’m also going to make the jeans that are cut vertically, with other jeans cut and sewn to the outside of the leg.

There are definetly a few pairs in my archive I could rework. I have made wide leg and bell bottom, next should be a side panel to make them wider with lacing over it for the goth factor.

You've inspired me to get a sewing machine. I had one in high school and stupidly threw it away before going to college. I'm reteaching myself how to use it, but my bobbin thread keeps breaking.
Hmmm 🤔 Is the bobbin top loading or does it have a metal bobbin case? Maybe the bobbin thread isn’t in the right slot or the tension may need adjusting.
@@BlueprintDIY I figured it out. The bobbins I bought were already wound, but they were too bulky so I released some of the thread onto an empty one. I appreciate you for responding though! ❤️ I love your channel!
Zippered elastic pants sound great to me too. Wondering how it would look if instead of in front there were a zipper on each front of waist.. like 2 apart.
