"Best basher in the world ever ever ever ever ever" they say... Ok I'm very very impressed with the MJX Hyper Go Brushless after seeing this. It really took a beating with no problems. Thanks, i know you love yours as well. MJX are onto a winner with this one. Now just need to find where we can get the 3s lipo from, waiting to hear back from MJX
I got my son this for Christmas and he loves it. The only issue we came across is it's response time when in reverse. We have to try and try but eventually it it does reverse. Hope someone can help us with this. issue.
This is pretty normal for RC cars, they dont go straight into reverse as they are break first, once the car has stopped you need to centre the throttle and then push to reverse, if you dont centre the throttle the car just thinks your breaking still, can take a bit of getting used to
Yeah doesnt really need the fan, and fans break on pretty much every RC when you bash them hard. Really is a great mini budget RC. Thank you for watching and commenting
They do two monster trucks in this link, both are the Brushless ones, the one that is different color to ours uses clips to attach the body rather than the clipless one. www.banggood.com/custlink/3K3WCyWmad our one is the 16208 and the clips one is 16209
MJX do, or you can get a Overlander 3s 2200 that fits, just need to dremel / cut off the but that comes down from the battery holder, the tab, and add some HD foam at the front to stop it moving forward and hitting the servo arm
I wish they'd make it clearer which battery comes supplied. In the "Description" section it states a 7.4v battery which would be the 2S battery. Whereas in the "Feature" section it states either "Support 3S battery" or "Standard 3S battery".
The Buggy comes with the 3s lipo and the others come with the 2s lipo, im talking to them about the 3s option and also where to buy the 3s lipo - i am asking them to offer the car with a 3s lipo as well
@@HardcoreRC Sweet! It's the buggy I'm liking the most due to having seen how good the shocks look (in another video) relative to the bouncy shocks of the monster truck iteration. Also, its ground clearance is surprisingly greater than the truggy iteration albeit by 1mm. Yep, I'm not buying any RC with only one battery when it's seemingly a proprietary battery so they REALLY need to be providing the option to purchase these RCs with 1, 2 or 3 batteries supplied like they do for some of the other RCs of a similar size and price.
This looks like something my son and I could use longer term. Thoughts about space in the compartment to swap in a better transmitter/receiver combo. Quite like the idea of a Dumbo RC or FlySky transmitter and a receiver that works with it. Do you have a suggestion from the list of your links above? It would be also interesting to know if any of the transmitter/receivers allow for a reduced torque response, such that we could still enjoy maximum speed on a 3S lipo, but be less likely to wheelie all the time. Thanks again, and great video!
As its a 3 wire servo any transmitter / receiver combo would work if you wanted to change it out. I'm not aware of any radio that will lower the torque on a brushless motor im afraid, most have a throttle limiter option but this would also reduce the top speed
Ohhh it doesn't - that's very strange, they haven't been discontinued, maybe Banggood just not getting them in now ? appears the links to the Truggy and Buggy still work, you can get the Monster Truck from AliExpress still: bit.ly/3EasjoJ - i have sent my Banggood contact an email asking the reason its showing as discontinued as well
help me please lol. my 2 sons want a offroad rc car for grass ect was looking at one of these but would need extra batteries which would fit? either that or im have to get them nitro ones as battery prices look so expensive for 10-15 mins use i need somthing that will last atleast a hour
With a slight modification to the batter clip i run the Overlander 2200mAh 3s lipo, makes it go like stink and get around 15 mins run time, run time all comes down to how hard you are pushing the car, flat out will drain the batter quicker than driving at half speed, so you could run on the stock battery then switch to the faster battery once the stock has run down. Not sure if you have had nitro before but they have their own issues, noise, reliability, tuning, Sometimes is just nicer to be able to stick a lipo in and run a car
@@HardcoreRC i had a nitro many years ago and yea a bit of a pain to tune i just cant figure out best way to go just want somthing that would take a bashing and somthing that will actually last i know parts need replacing over time . was looking at the ftx zorro nitro and carnage dont know if you know anything about them? thanks for helping me
@@danm620 That's ok and do understand where you are coming from, Nitro is something i need to learn and would like to get one as well, just seeing others with them i know how frustrated they get, one thing i have learnt is a starter box is 100% needed. Dont know much about the FTX Zorro or Carnage, FTX tend to be lower quality over all but with some real gems in their line up, the DR8 for example and also the Tracer which is the same car as the MJX hyper go
Have never had that issue, if we did then we would have reported in, also know lots of other that have this car and not had that issue, can only assume you have a faulty one, which can happen with any brand
Right. I bought this as a present for my 6yo son and the delay on the throttle is about a second, which is absolutely horrible. It is so hard to carefully accelerate with this kind of delay. And if you really go soft, there is a fair bit of cogging. So if this is the undisputed king of cheap RC cars, I don’t want to check the competition
@@Joshvlog77 I think it's because it's cheap can't have really good quality for cheap just a cheap basher and something to play with ya know but I Definitely understand that throttle delay and all sucks but atleast it.runs lol

I have asked MJX and am wailing for a response - i do know that this lipo does fit with a slight mode to the batter clip and some foam at the front of the tray: www.overlander.co.uk/2200mah-11-1v-3s-35c-supersport-pro-lipo-battery-deans-connector.html?campaign=GoogleShopping&gclid=CjwKCAjwsfuYBhAZEiwA5a6CDEFZk36DKrBD3rbL1rI7TC1dYO1PpEeG2Y3PBtB6Eq00eNFHRdYqkBoCkVUQAvD_BwE
Yes!! Epic little things! Bombproof and quick out the box! Well done MJX and great vid guys! 😎👍
Thanks, i know you love yours as well. MJX are onto a winner with this one. Now just need to find where we can get the 3s lipo from, waiting to hear back from MJX
can you mount a full sized gopro on it?
You could but it would be pretty heavy for the car, better to use something like the Insta360 Go2
I can’t believe the boys can’t break it. That rc is Hardcore
Trust me we did try to break it 😂
I got my son this for Christmas and he loves it. The only issue we came across is it's response time when in reverse. We have to try and try but eventually it it does reverse. Hope someone can help us with this. issue.
This is pretty normal for RC cars, they dont go straight into reverse as they are break first, once the car has stopped you need to centre the throttle and then push to reverse, if you dont centre the throttle the car just thinks your breaking still, can take a bit of getting used to
Hello from Barcelona. Which is the gps from the video where yo u can watch the speed in your mobile??
Hi from UK: www.banggood.com/custlink/Gv3ESl2gHV
The fan can be replace is easy fix, or take away the broken leave the heat sink, still great mini monster truck, to many people will to have it
Yeah doesnt really need the fan, and fans break on pretty much every RC when you bash them hard. Really is a great mini budget RC. Thank you for watching and commenting
I’m on my 3rd rear shock tower. I’ve ran the thing 5 times.
How the hell are you breaking the rear shock tower once, yet alone 3 times ?
What's the difference between the 16208 vs. 16209 please ??
Just the body - the 16208 has the clipless body as in this video and the 16209 has a body held on by body clips
@@HardcoreRC which one do you think is a better system ??
@@markdwyer8858 have only seen the clip body once and didn’t like it, deffo prefer the clip less one
What model # is that one so I don't the last model non brushless?
They do two monster trucks in this link, both are the Brushless ones, the one that is different color to ours uses clips to attach the body rather than the clipless one. www.banggood.com/custlink/3K3WCyWmad our one is the 16208 and the clips one is 16209
wow awesome little rig 👍 good blast
Thanks - loved this little truck
@@HardcoreRC yeah for that price unbeliveable strong 👍
Link for MJX 3S lipo battery?
s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DdGKb59
Who makes a 3s that fits
MJX do, or you can get a Overlander 3s 2200 that fits, just need to dremel / cut off the but that comes down from the battery holder, the tab, and add some HD foam at the front to stop it moving forward and hitting the servo arm
Great video!! 9:30
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it 👍
This thing was a BEAST!!
It sure was, and i know you were trying to break it as well 👍👍
Guys. That was epic. Full on into the wall.
Hehe, thanks, we had to test it like the brushed one, took it like a champ as well
These are some tough judges.
I totally agree 😂
What camera is it on the car?😅
Insta 360 Go2
Thank you😊
You say they contacted you? Wow, you are famous
I know - good right
Epic little basher!🚀👍🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Crazy how good these are for the money
My chassis just cracked because I accidentally hit a parking curb… it’s definitely not indestructible but at its price on 3s batteries it’s worth it
This looks like something my son and I could use longer term.
I'm not aware of any radio that will lower the torque on a brushless motor im afraid, most have a throttle limiter option but this would also reduce the top speed
i cannot wait for my order.. same model body i order
They are very good, think this is the best body option as well with the clipless system
Nice vid vro
Thank you and thank you for watching
Are these discontinued? The link doesn't work :)
Ohhh it doesn't - that's very strange, they haven't been discontinued, maybe Banggood just not getting them in now ? appears the links to the Truggy and Buggy still work, you can get the Monster Truck from AliExpress still: bit.ly/3EasjoJ - i have sent my Banggood contact an email asking the reason its showing as discontinued as well
@@HardcoreRC Thank you. I figured they aren't discontinued a bit later after commenting, I found them in stock on AliExpress.
Temu has them for $85 US just ordered one! 👍
Thats a proper deal - nice find
help me please lol.
my 2 sons want a offroad rc car for grass ect was looking at one of these but would need extra batteries which would fit?
either that or im have to get them nitro ones as battery prices look so expensive for 10-15 mins use i need somthing that will last atleast a hour
Dont know much about the FTX Zorro or Carnage, FTX tend to be lower quality over all but with some real gems in their line up, the DR8 for example and also the Tracer which is the same car as the MJX hyper go
I'm lovin' it!
Cant fault this little RC, cant get better bang for your buck
An aluminum red rocket fan will make it perfect. Wait, I think red rocket means dog weenie? 😂
Dont need any dog's weenie's 😂😂 but if it needs a fan the rocket one would work a treat
Great vid 👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Krass Stabilität
Danke
✌🏻😎🏴Looks like a cool little basher 👍🏻. The only thing I don’t like is the battery.
It is a great little basher, dont dislike the lipos now they come with the balance plug, you can fit other lipos as well if you wanted to
Subbed lads love the energy think I might get one !
Thank you for subbing and watching 👍 welcome to the family
Epic little tuff buggy
Crazy how tough this little car is, so much fun as well
Very nice. 🤘🏻
Thank you 👍👍
You guys are sick
Heheh - thanks
4 yo son put his into the gutter at full speed and the top of the front strut snapped off. New shocks inbound haha
Oh that sucks, hope you get it fixed up
@@HardcoreRC ordered some new metal body shocks and did a temp knead it putty repair that’s held so far. He is driving more cautious now haha
Love it, I want one
Seriously the best budget basher we have ever had or tested. In fact it is more fun than some of the more expensive cars we have
Boom just subbed
Thank you - hope you enjoy our videos
Nicklaus Radial
?
Nice 👍😊
Thanks 😊
Bet!
Everybody keep saying how good they are but no one tells you about the horrible delays with the throttle and staring
Have never had that issue, if we did then we would have reported in, also know lots of other that have this car and not had that issue, can only assume you have a faulty one, which can happen with any brand
@Awalkaboutwithjosh just got mine..and yep, I imagine it's to not break sheet on hole shots
@@dylansharp4565 what about 14210 that hav that delay or not?
Now I know what I'm buying the family if I can't afford the mt10's for Famjam 2023
You wouldn't be disappointed, great little RC
Definitely need to sell it with 3s batteries! Two!
Agreed, im waiting for a response from them on that
Defo a skate park basher that 👍
It eats skate parks for breakfast, lunch and tea 😂😂
Funny mine broke before i killed the 1st battery.
Front axle ripped apart. Broke right out of the cheap plastic housing.
Than i got a smaller truck but way faster and better and same price. Haiboxing
May have got a faulty axel, you saw what we did with ours and this is the second one we have had with no issues. Hailboxing is HBX who make the exact same truck only the lipo is on theother side and needs to be shorter
Yeah idk. Its a cheap plastic housing that held the axle in with some metal wire wrapped around it ment to make it stronger but it ripped apart. And the part that borke is 1 of 3 that they sell upgrades for they know its cheap and breaks regularly. I think you you guys just got lucky.
Also the model i got was H16SC with the GPS on Amazon its like $100 but had a 40% off coupon thats why i got it for $60 sure its cool but need to take the time to upgrade them axle joint things. Think they only another $15ish 😕
The haiboxing is awesome 👌 though right now im unsure if i want to go all in and upgrade it some bigger wheels for sure metal shock parts steering parts heat sinks about $80 worth of parts i have picked out taking me just under $200 or return it and simply buy the Traxxas slash truck which is $200 usd on Amazon.
@@miguel360kmc Ahh you got the brushed MJX, we reviewed that as well and couldnt break it. Think it may have been you that was unlucky, i know we didnt break ours and we certainly tired, Tomley who i trust 100% beat the snot out of his, i know ithers that have these trucks and cant break them, as said they are the same as the FTX, HBX versions, all considred the toughest budget cars you can get.
If it was poop we would say it poop like we have with others cars we have reviewed.
So it needs a Surpass fan then job done.
Not sure it even needs a fan, need to run and see how hot it gets with no fan
now they need to scale it up to 1/10
I hope they do, would be interesting to see how it compairs to a TA Rival MT10
Awesome 😎
Thank you! Cheers!
Boom
Big Boom, or not, little car wouldnt die 😂😂
Shame they don’t do spare parts had to buy ftx parts for mine but there not as beefy. The drive cups that the dog bones sit into are made of monkey metal, where the dog bones are soo chunky it breaks the drive cups instead of the dog bones bending/snapping.

@@HardcoreRC it makes me laugh watching how hard you and the son bash it yet i brake it in 5mins with no bad crashes😂
@@ctay1071 WOW, maybe the way it landed, sometimes how a car lands can make it appear to break easy. I know Chase has the FTX Tracer and brakes ever car he has in very short order, he has yet to break his FTX tracer
@@HardcoreRC yeah I guess I had dodgy landing, the next bash should let me know if It’s good. Cheers bud👍

Give it a lick!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hehe, no way either of us were going to lick it, just something stupid that popped in my head 😂
Looks like MJX Hyper Go just took the crown 👑 from HBX 16889a pro.
Effectively the same car, this one is a little cheaper and also comes on 4 different versions, also the FTX Tracer is the same, gives good options for spares if you ever need them
@@HardcoreRC the mjx has a bigger battery compartment always has but now with brushless and a 45a standalone esc you can put bigger 3s batteries unlike the 16889...thats where it wins.
@@RayRiv73 Oh yes the HBX does have the short battery compartment due to where the servo is, we fitted a nice long 2200mah lipo in our brushed MJX and could do the same on this one

none of the links bring me to the gps version
Just ran mine at half speed hiting staircase with left tyre and broken whole steering rod with all parts near servo.... It was not a 20% of hit your car took and mine blasted :/
Sory to hear that - how cold was it ? cold temps effect the plastics on all RC cars and make them brittle
Well yea, it was 8-9 C°, not too cold but not warm... Well, ordered whole new rod but alu this time so we will see :)
But it get wit it
It did get it and it loved it 😂
Why don't you do a drag race tosee
5:40
Did you like that bit ?
Who else has failed diff because of the 4 screws holding the diff body together shear rendering the diff useless. This is a manufacturing problem that hopefully mjx are going to addres.
Not had or heard if this problem, and we have beaten the snot out of both of ours, also not heard of the issue on either the FTX or HBX versions. Is that on the bulkhead or the actual diff ?
Actual diff the screws literally shear and you can't remove them because half the diff is plastic , the diff is out of stock mostly everywhere now and where you can buy it they have ramped the price up.
@@boyeselectrical Sorry to hear this, as said not had that issue on either our brushed or brushless cars. Have found the diff in stock here not sure how much it was before but £8 for a whole diff doesn't seem that bad to me: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004799209609.html
Appreciate the links as you say it is in stock but 2 replacement diffs delivered to UK is 27 GBP for something that is not really up to scratch from factory and also buying another part that will fail without modification . Anyway cheers for responding regards Dan.
Are parts available for this truck? Not that it looks like it will need any 🤣
Yes parts are available, either for the MJX Hyper go from Ali Express, or the FTX Tracer or HBX 16889a pro as they are all basically the same car
