Another thing from me, yeah i really like this MJX but im tempted to get the Omni terminator for its size as its a bit smaller, just running out of room for large trucks at home i guess i would pay import on the omni terminator?
I like both companies, but at least MJX can deliver their 'toys' as promised. It looks like a good all terrain vehicle and I'm glad they addressed the servo issue, although I've seen the saver spring is a bit weak.. kind of negating that 35kg, but it can be modded to work better.
Marquee brands are very expensive outside of the US 3s Arrmas are nearly $800 here in New Zealand making these budget bashers very appealing. Just have to order online and import them. No biggie really
Wow these Is way better than arrma granite out of the box as it's 4s metal shafts I wanna see a large 1 8 4s to beat the kraton next full metal shafts etc
they are confident that the omni is a much better truck. What i will say is it does feel more premium than the MJX but the size compared to the rest of the leading 1/10 in this class is the downfall. If it was a proper 1/10 and not a 'mini' 1/10 which they class it as.. firstly that's BS its a nicer way of saying 1/12th. We all know its a 1/12 haha. They need to release a proper 1/10 and fast IMO..
@@jonhowland4985 Oh yeah! I havent even thickened dif fluid yet. Bu I am an asphalt driver. I did redo the shocks with 90 weight gear oil.. OMG, so smooth now.
Apparently this truck does support other pinions! You can gear it up from 12T to 13, 14 and 15T, so theoretically up to 25% more top speed. The motor 'moves' by using the different mounting holes in the motor mount. 25% extra could possibly make it do 58mph :)
I'm not fond of MJX. I might be biased but i've always known about MJX first, but yet i still only own 2 Rlaarlo's. In case of my D12, for the 160 i paid around christmas, even MJX couldn't compete; especially in terms of quality. The D12 had higher praise for build quality (dont confuse that with bash-ability, MJX wins there) and the design (higher stance, more clearance) was better than anything MJX had on offer. On top of that, my friend's MJX cars were definitely cool, but for a mechanical OCD'er like me, it was way too sloppy. But beefy, i'll give MJX that win. In this case, it looks like the MJX definitely has some 'design cues' that might require frequent repairs. My Omni isn't free of issues either; and Rlaarlo is definitely coping on that one. But i'm very happy with how the Omni handles, still the best handling car, no bouncy landings, thing is a DEAL for the 250 it costs. A mini Kagama imho.
I would like to buy 2 of these one for me and one for my son so we can race is that possible? would both remotes be on the same frequency or is there a way to change frequency? Thanks
Wonder how many issues this truck will have after release. The Omni terminator has some issues like wobbly front wheels after the first run, with just normal driving no jumps... (my 6 year old stock pro sc10 has way less wobble🤨)the brakes are terrible, the stance destroys the dog bone cups so you have to lower it. Not sure if the upgraded cups are durable enough for the og stance. Then the radio from the carbon version has way to many unnecessary functions for this kind of rc and the gyro can't be turned above 30 or the servo goes nuts...
SeriousRC.co.uk for us in the UK I think they offer shipping to europe this is taken from their site: International Delivery International delivery is available for most countries within the EU, North America and Asia. Delivery to most EU countries will take 4-6 business days. Delivery to North America and Asia can take 5-7 business days. This delivery service is fully tracked and tracking information will be made available. 4--6 days isn't bad
V2 will be out October but likely to hit stores early 2025. V1.1 enhanced should be available very soon and anyone who buys one will get the updated versions 😊
Goodness, 225 for a 4s ready basher! the Quantum 2x you recently reviewed at 250 impressed me a lot. this looks like a total game changer to me. I do hope support ends up being ok. I saw this reviewed by a few suspect reviewers, however it does seem after your review the other claims seem to be true... could be I'm pulling the trigger again. ;)
I couldn't resist mate, V1 on AE for 140 delivered? Let's hope it actually get sent. Price difference will pay for some parts to catch up closer with V2 and I can't see the electrics being vastly different. I'm kind of looking forward to potentially franken the V1 up. I was returning the 14210 anyway, love it but 1/10th minimum is just more practical - so if it allw works out that's a price difference of £30.
I think why Rlaarlo isn't worried is because by the time they release their proper 10th the people that bought the MJX is probably still gonna buy theirs also.
@beyondRC yep, I agree but I think from their stand point large scales like 8th and bigger are much harder to keep durable. Would love to see them actually go toes with Arrma & Traxxas though but for now their just dooking it out with themselves.
No skatepark for this guy either. My two young boys and I drive in woods/dirt/hills, more realistic driving areas. I also agree rlaarlo should have marketed the terminator at 1/12 scale because there is no doubt that that’s what it is. I have the carbon terminator, which we enjoy a lot BUT i haven’t found it to be as quite the hype everyone else has, definitely would’ve went with this MJX had it been available at the time I purchased the terminator at roughly the same cost. Good video!! Thanks for the honest review! Still can’t steer away from my widened granite, Arrma 3s far superior in my opinion 😉
absolutely and i have been to a few myself in the past and it was fun. I just dont like how some reviews are done unfairly for views and a product is permanently tarnished after breaking on concrete. Each to their own hey haha
I don't know what I think of this truck. On one hand, it's great to finally see a real 1/10 basher from one of the good Chinese RC brands. But it seems expensive, and the suspension doesn't look to be very well resolved. It also seems like it should go faster on 3S and 4S. It sounds like it also doesn't have an adjustable motor mount? Anyway, I'm intrigued and will be interested to hear more impressions as they become available. From what I've seen so far, it looks like a good first effort rather than an unqualified home run.
It did look like it was riding low. Also the spine along the bottom is taking the brunt of the impact when instead the bottom should have been flat to spread impact force
You got that right! In their minds this truck is irrelevant. not a proper RC truck! Looked pretty damn proper to me doing 47mph down the road there haha!! good old rlaarlo accept defeat and make a bigger better product.. MJX got you this time :P
Ordered the V2 from makerfire for 258$ dollars with free shipping. I hope its better then my weak arrma granite 3s that kept breaking and leaky shocks.
Run time on 3s and 4s and on what battery size of course 5000 mah?. Alot of 2200s and 3200s out there too (if you perhaps fly too). Might be useful into (Yes I know it depends how far your squeezing that trigger! But a genera indicator of one and we can approximate. As no battery included we'll be needing to know what size to buy or how long it might run on packs we might already have. Thanks (or did I miss it on the Vid? I'll double check)
the battery tray accepts up to 5000mah 3s/4s. I never give battery times as it varies too greatly. as you said depends on how hard/soft you are running its impossible to even give an approximate but i always say buy the largest battery you can afford with the highest capacity which in this case is 5000mah that will fit. Thanks
@@beyondRC thank you for replying. I understand, its difficult isn't it but maintain an approximation would be useful, it's a question perhaps more suited as a forum question. P.s. forgot to say love the content thank you and please keep it coming 👍
The one thing lacking with MJX is the ability for gear changes. That's a big deal in the hobby that should not be overlooked (adjustable motor mount needed). Many folks like to mod their RC's. MJX should not forget that if they are going after the Arrma Granite with this one. If they address this as well this will be a big hit. MJX makes solid RC's. I have several as well as Arrma's and Redcat's, etc....
I still think at the price point of 1/10th scale MTs id go with the rival mt10 or the new maverick Q2 MT (USA prices) but this definitely seems right up there near them. Im thinking of grabbing one to try. Waiting to see what that new hobao that is being announced soon before i decide. Great review bud
I'm with ya on the skate park stuff. What I think of when I see those videos is almost kind of rubbing it in my face. Wow! So, you got a car I really would love to have, but can't afford, and you take it somewhere to intentionally destroy it, in my face... Thanks man! You could just ship it to one of your fans, and make their whole month, but nah.. watch me tear it all to pieces for you.
@beyondRC, thanks for your logical and civilized insight , I dont like skate park videos as well, those cars are not made or designed to fly for 5 plus meters and expect them to survive. As you said, not everyone is rich and even if I am, it is not ok to spoil kids to damage their stuff for fun only. Keep going the way you are my friend.
@@beyondRC That really is an issue, and we are already seeing the fruits of that sort of thinking, in the youth. They don't appreciate what they have anymore, and don't know the value, in keeping your blessings, well maintained, properly respected, and in "like new" condition for as long as possible. Also, the value in taking your whatever it is, and figuring out how to properly fix it, if it breaks, and the pride one feels, when they're able to do that. It's really an amazing feeling, when you can take what was broken, and bring it back, on your own, with no one's help. Of course that's not every young person, but it seems with each successive generation, those sorts of people, become more and more a rarity, whereas 100 years ago, that was the way it was, you just had to do what you had to do, but now, not so much. Quck, who's kid's know how to change their car tire?
Had one of these ordered from AE at £157 with vouchers - cancelled it as import duty / tax and PO handling would have made it well over £200+ for a prototype.
I basically said the same on this video, but was accused of being wrong by serious RC, so deleted the conversation. Now it's being said on every channel. I knew I wasn't wrong haha.
Didnt mean to accuse you or cause offence, it was just the facts at the time. Sorry if it came across differently. MJX only confirmed today that a V2 will go onto production in October/November. No confirmation on what will be different/improved yet. Likely we will see the V2 in december / early 2025. Any 10208 bought from any vendor in the world prior to these dates is going to be a V1. @@-Astro--

It does seem pretty nice, but a no go for me. I already have a Rival mt10 and recently picked up an Arrma Vorteks for $279 so I'm set for 10th scale bashers.
I really don't care for the MJX smaller scale 1/16 trucks, the radio is uncomfortable, and I can't stand the steering and the servo location. They do take a beating, but I've had a hell of a time trying to upgrade the parts to something better than stock. Best to just run it stock and replace broken parts with the stock.

As I’m sure you may know or of realised by now this is not the car we will be able to purchase off the shelf as a consumer they are bringing out a V2 version and that will be the car us punters can buy. This rc car is the free one they’re giving out to all the biggerRUclips rc channels for free, being honest about the car shouldn’t hurt getting any more cars to review if MJX are willing to listen and work with you to fix the bad points you have pointed out about this rc car. I like both companies, but at least MJX can deliver their 'toys' as promised. It looks like a good all terrain vehicle and I'm glad they addressed the servo issue, although I've seen the saver spring is a bit weak.. kind of negating that 35kg, but it can be modded to work better.
That does look like a nice truck defo bang for buck seems epic at that price 💯
Hope they make 1/8 scale version of this.
Marquee brands are very expensive outside of the US 3s Arrmas are nearly $800 here in New Zealand making these budget bashers very appealing. Just have to order online and import them. No biggie really
This seems to be another great RC from MJX! Nice video too! Stay awesome and RC on friend!
Id buy the MJX first. I actually plan on getting a few MJX and only semi want a ralarlo.
Wow these Is way better than arrma granite out of the box as it's 4s metal shafts I wanna see a large 1 8 4s to beat the kraton next full metal shafts etc
MJX all the way
Sounds like Rlaalro is getting a full of there selves
they are confident that the omni is a much better truck.
I still wouldnt trade my Omni Terminator for one of these.
Despite the size difference, the Omni is a superior product.
@@Multi-Skill-Bill I agree. Thicken the center diif fluid and you’re good to go. My friend has one and it drives beautifully
@@jonhowland4985 Oh yeah! I havent even thickened dif fluid yet. Bu I am an asphalt driver. I did redo the shocks with 90 weight gear oil.. OMG, so smooth now.
Hard to beat?? At 300$ yea…no chance, it’s been beat
Apparently this truck does support other pinions! You can gear it up from 12T to 13, 14 and 15T, so theoretically up to 25% more top speed. The motor 'moves' by using the different mounting holes in the motor mount. 25% extra could possibly make it do 58mph :)
Yes it does I might have to do a follow up video with the 15t 😀😀
@@beyondRC Could be cool. This car is currently the hot new thing. As you've said, it's stiff competition for the big names. Especially at 58mph :)
Thanks
they are 2.4ghz you can run many many remotes at the same time without issues
@@beyondRC thanks so much for the reply 👍
Been waiting for a review on this and worth the wait, you did the video and car proud its a bargain 4s capable MT basher, well done
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Now if they could just incorporate handling into the RCs they make lol!
Good going mate! Awesome review !
Are there 2RS Bearings in the Car? Or like the 1/16 scale cars of MJX Z-Bearings?
Wonder how many issues this truck will have after release.
The Omni terminator has some issues like wobbly front wheels after the first run, with just normal driving no jumps... (my 6 year old stock pro sc10 has way less wobble🤨)the brakes are terrible, the stance destroys the dog bone cups so you have to lower it. Not sure if the upgraded cups are durable enough for the og stance. Then the radio from the carbon version has way to many unnecessary functions for this kind of rc and the gyro can't be turned above 30 or the servo goes nuts...
Yeah the rlaarlo is far from perfect. I'm hoping after all the feedback they make changes as soon as possible.
How does this RC car compare to ARRMA Grenade? Thanks for the review.
I love my Rlaarlo Omni but I'm definitely buying one of these good vid
Good choice!
V2 will be lovely…
Where in Europe can you buy spare parts?
SeriousRC.co.uk for us in the UK I think they offer shipping to europe this is taken from their site: International Delivery
International delivery is available for most countries within the EU, North America and Asia.
Delivery to most EU countries will take 4-6 business days. Delivery to North America and Asia can take 5-7 business days. This delivery service is fully tracked and tracking information will be made available.
4--6 days isn't bad
Great video, I got the white, absolutely loving the speed power and size, looking forward to see the v2 with all the improvements 😊
V2 will be out October but likely to hit stores early 2025. V1.1 enhanced should be available very soon and anyone who buys one will get the updated versions 😊
@6m50s, during the various 1/10 lineup, you can clearly see the Omni is the only one that looks like a toy..
LOL
Does it have the throttle delay like the hypergo
Goodness, 225 for a 4s ready basher! the Quantum 2x you recently reviewed at 250 impressed me a lot. this looks like a total game changer to me. I do hope support ends up being ok. I saw this reviewed by a few suspect reviewers, however it does seem after your review the other claims seem to be true... could be I'm pulling the trigger again. ;)
for the price its very good for the money. There will almost certainly be a V2 which will address a lot of the very minor issues.
This new MJX 1/10 truck has been recalled/withdrawn because of design issues, they are already working to release a v2 version.
Yes after receiving feedback from us and the community there is a v2 coming but there was nothing stopping me showing everyone the v1 👌👍
They need to bring out something which is legit 1/10, a 1/5 would be cool and even a 1/8 bashing truck. I am getting sick of the smaller scale stuff
@beyondRC yep, I agree but I think from their stand point large scales like 8th and bigger are much harder to keep durable. Would love to see them actually go toes with Arrma & Traxxas though but for now their just dooking it out with themselves.
Aaaaah, I just started to build my first SCX10 II rig and they release this? Oh man this is not fair ;)
hahaha just wait for a while i think there will be a V2. They may even make changes before sending any out!
Skateparks are a no go i fully agree. Same i have two young boys as well and i am trying to teach them to respect their toys not smash them up!!
i want both😁🤩😍
Skateparks are a blast I have 3 of gen1 brushless hypergos can't wait to try this one!!!!
absolutely and i have been to a few myself in the past and it was fun. I just dont like how some reviews are done unfairly for views and a product is permanently tarnished after breaking on concrete. Each to their own hey haha
@beyondRC ahh ok I can dig that, I enjoy your channel for sure, I am excited to see this 1/10 scale in person, thanks and have a wonderful day
I don't know what I think of this truck.
Motor mount is adjustable, 4 or 5 different positions. It comes stock with the smallest pinion size
Thanks for the clarification. Glad to hear it’s not a fixed mount.
Yeah me too
It did look like it was riding low.
Also the spine along the bottom is taking the brunt of the impact when instead the bottom should have been flat to spread impact force
Separate ESC and receiver?
Yes
Hey, Rlaarlo.. ALL RCs ARE TOYS.! 😉 😉 😂 😂
Certainly looks the part and seems to go really well to.
Great for the money and the v2 will be even better
Skatepark is a joke I thought I was the only one.
No I’m with you and so many more people are but they stay quiet and don’t speak out. Me I don’t care and say what’s on my mind 😂
Bumper a tad loose at the end of the vid? Great truck, definitely need to raise it up higher.
WOW. Looks good to me. Love what serious-rc have done with MJX. did they provide this to you?
This is straight from mjx 👌although I am working in close partnership with serious rc they gave me the h8 to test 🤩
Great Review
Thanks mate!
Not everyone has that level of money to literally
Destroy things! Also bad image for the younger generation Imo
They need do 1 8 scale truck s
Same here skate park s not needed tho for 1 10 should be ok :)
Its a great car but at that price point I'd rather get arrmas 3s line for parts availability, especially since i live in the states
yeas for anyone in the states ARRMA will be the go to but for us everything is overpriced :(
at 14:00 you start to understand why people do skatepark videos xD
just dont appreciate the all out destruction some channels go to extreme levels.
I wish channels would stop that crap
There's already a new version in pre order on MJX that fixes the lock in the back with some upgrades.
yep v2 incoming after all the feedback
I basically said the same on this video, but was accused of being wrong by serious RC, so deleted the conversation. Now it's being said on every channel. I knew I wasn't wrong haha.
Didnt mean to accuse you or cause offence, it was just the facts at the time. Sorry if it came across differently. MJX only confirmed today that a V2 will go onto production in October/November. No confirmation on what will be different/improved yet. Likely we will see the V2 in december / early 2025.
Any 10208 bought from any vendor in the world prior to these dates is going to be a V1. @@-Astro--
@@SERIOUS-RC not true, next month or so. I'm not listening to you again, you obviously have a load of v1 on way to you that you need to shift. 🤭

It does seem pretty nice, but a no go for me. I already have a Rival mt10 and recently picked up an Arrma Vorteks for $279 so I'm set for 10th scale bashers.

Be careful on 4s so you don’t blow those mistake tires off… and the shocks being so low?? And a few other changes eh?

I really don't care for the MJX smaller scale 1/16 trucks, the radio is uncomfortable, and I can't stand the steering and the servo location. They do take a beating, but I've had a hell of a time trying to upgrade the parts to something better than stock. Best to just run it stock and replace broken parts with the stock.
I don’t even need to watch your video to know this is either clickbait or you’re afraid to give honest reviews because they won’t send you free RC cars to “review”.

Hi mate it looks like a copy right of the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator 1/10 to me the same 3s to 4s but a fantastic build truck that hyper go are well build trucks for the money idea for a beginner like under 12s I think 😊😊😊
They should have kept it under 300 like the omni terminator $260ish
only reason they didn't is because its arguably way more truck for the money. Might not be as good quality but its bigger (actual 1/10) faster and due to it being made primarily out of plastic (Some say that makes it look toy like) i think it will be more durable! Everything is so big and beefy on it!
Dose everyone no where I can get one I'm in UK thanks very much
I literally mentioned it in the video 😂 they are on preorder 😂
Its only £20 cheaper than the Maverick Quantum flux. I think I'd go for the Maverick The MJX is too expensive.Nice review though !
£224 is reasonable for a 4s capable truck the maverick whilst good isn’t perfect but both solid trucks in this price range. Depends what people prefer the look of.
can you do Self Righting
no
As I’m sure you may know or of realised by now this is not the car we will be able to purchase off the shelf as a consumer they are bringing out a V2 version and that will be the car us punters can buy. This rc car is the free one they’re giving out to all the biggerRUclips rc channels for free, being honest about the car shouldn’t hurt getting any more cars to review if MJX are willing to listen and work with you to fix the bad points you have pointed out about this rc car. The travel on the shocks, the body fixing/mounting system and too soft a tyre compound maybe? Oh and I nearly forgot they couldn’t even be bothered to look at the controller?? You’ve given her a fair enough straight out of the box test but I fear a good bash and something may break? We shall see…but what version is going to be available to the normal consumer? Good video as ever. 👌👍
You wont be able to get the V2 until late 2024 early 2025. What you will be getting is the updated V1. Which will still be called V1 just with the upgrades added (Upgrade skid plates, gearing and body mounting) The big changes wont be available until v2 in the new year. The truck featured in the vid is definitely the one most will receive with very minor changes. There seems to be a lot of false information. My info comes direct from MJX or our UK supplier SeriousRC.

@@Andym1159 it annoys me how some channels have taken away some good press for this truck. Even in its current state for the money it’s still a very good value truck with lots of good points. Perhaps in the future.
Who would anyone buy this over the Rlaarlo Omni Terminator?
its larger, more powerful but not as high quality as the terminator but still a great choice
Arrma is over $1000 in nz. Online these are around $400 nzd. Arrma is just too expensive.
Thats crazy expensive
Aren't all RC cars just 'toys'? Nothing wrong with having toys, everyone has them whether they be a porsche 911 or a little RC car!

I’m done with cheap Chinese shit. My H14bm is a complete waste of money next to the Omni. So wish I had of waited. My buddies drives beautifully while the mjx just flops around. Let’s not talk about working on it with Philips head screws. Every one save their money and buy the Omni. Or better still, a 3s arrma.
I had a random video come up on these chinese screws. Apparently they all run Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS), which means all US/UK drivers are terrible. I bought a cheap set of drivers that work well with the chinese stuff
Neee , make it more width... and then i buy it...
