Miku just can't stay still, she is really pumped, what a rockstar she is. I was at Tokyo Garden Theater, saw Band-Maid play Endless Story in front of 8000 fans, the sing-a-long parts were epic. They had Choose Me as the final song (of 26 songs), another epic moment in the Okyuji. I have Band-Maid as my favorite band of all times. Great sound quality, thanks for sharing 🙂
I used to listen to a lot of j-rock years ago but haven’t for a while. I went to see the last rockstars and was pleasantly surprised by this opening performance. I’ll be checking out more of their music. That’s one of the fun things about seeing bands live, sometimes the opening acts are good and worth looking into.
It seems like "from now on" worked as intended. A roomful of people who didn't come to see them and not really aware of who they are; when they get to the bass break, a roar goes up partly for what Kanami's just done and partly for what MISA is doing. Yes, ladies and gentlemen. Pay attention to them.
Akane killed it the hole time Saiki the Ice Queen sings like a goddess Misa badass Bass player like always killing it our little pigeon Miku so amazing Po and of course KANAMI is a legend on guitar 🎸 best band in the world 🌎 today BAND-MAID I’m going to see them Live hopefully in May of this year 😊👏👍👌🌎
I'll be there. If you've never been to a Band-Maid concert before you're in for an experience you'll never forget. Regardless of how good people will tell you they are, they will exceed your expectations.
You can't imagine the difference! On the livestream, the backing track was awfully loud, Akane's drum sounded like cardboard, Miku's guitar was much louder than Kanami and Misa was totally lost in the mix - terrible! Here, it's the Band-Maid I'm used to and love!
I was standing IFO the sound tech platform and the sound was quite pleasant (mixed feels about line array tech even at TGT). Kanami's was on top of her game. Thanks for the upload, sounds great, Po!
I mixed the house sound for Band Maid this show, glad you enjoyed it! Wish it translated better on the video... Very tough room to mix in...notoriously bad acoustics.

People meandering taking selfies, hobnobbing untill Endless Story! Everyone faced the Maids very Kool song man...and nice crowd approval throughout they're last 'Rocking' crescendo...Miku's gear made it through the last note ha ha ha, (crowds will understand equipment failure, that's Rock n Roll!)

They're a supergroup. Four living legends in Japan, but more of a cult following outside of Japan. Yoshiki (drums & keys) is a friend and supporter of Band-Maid. While I wish Band-Maid had longer sets for these shows, it's a win-win for both bands. Band-Maid benefits back home for opening for TLRs via good PR, and they get exposure to TLRs more heavily female US fan base. TLRs benefit from Band-Maid's established US fan base.
It's a plus for BM to get exposed to a new fanbase. TLRS are new, but the individual members of TLRS have a huge dedicated fanbase with many young females who are seeing BM for the first time.
I saw them last week in NYC, my new fav band! Akane is killing it on the drums! Love this band.

Saiki's "thank you so much" after Endless Story sounded very heartfelt. Makes me think people were singing along a lot more than she expected.

でも一部はBAND-MAID目的メインで来た人もいるんじゃないかな
海外では純粋なガールズバンドでこのレベルのバンドは数少ないからな
MISAの正面あたりに見える坊主頭は、SJ Nixというかなり有名なBAND-MAIDファンですね。
照明も何も盛り上げる要素ゼロに等しい会場でよくやったと思います、サウンドシステムはほぼ持ち込んだ分だけでしょう?シンプルなので今回はトラブル無しでオンタイムで終了!
ほぼ日本の高校の体育館レベルかな、バンメはいろんなところでやってますから楽しんでやってくれたらOK

V系は全く興味が無くて、エックスもラルクもほぼ聴いた事がないので、失礼だが、海外でチケットがソールドアウトになるんだと感心した。
バンドメイドの知名度は、まだまだだが、音楽的趣向がYOSHIKIやハイドファンとは全く違うのだからしょうがない。
それにしてもバンドメイドは、地道に謙虚にコツコツとファンを増やしているのは確かだ。
