I've owned snappers and a Dixon zero turn. Now I have Ariens 52 inch with the Kawasaki 23 hp engine has a 135 hours . Not a single complaint. Best mower I have ever owned. It will last longer than I will .

Please do one of these for the 2023 iKon 42. My dealer cannot get it right. It mows crooked forward and reverse. The bar even look even visually. The bars hit the drink holder area and control panel area when going in reverse before hitting the stops.

Question Ariens... i keep seeing your ads pop up that say "There's an Ariens with your name on it." I wish this were the case, with the new lineup, you deleted the XL series, WHY WHY WHY? now you don't make a zero turn with the ZT-2800 transmission. this seems to be a bad move on your part, this forces me to scratch you off the list and look at other brands. If you put a 2800 instead of the EZT 2200 in your new Ikon XD those would sell like HOT CAKES. Am i missing something? I need a new mower like yesterday, first 2800 transmission i see in the $3xxx's will be in my garage with a bunch of youtube videos. I bought a cub 5 years ago and got about 300k views alone.

I will probably eventually upgrade the ezt hydros in my Ariens Ikon Xd42 if these go out. I really enjoy my mower and I think it would be possible to upgrade the hydros. Anyone know? I know they're not cheap but I think I would do the work myself I have worked on small engine equipment for 20 years.

@@cashen7384 no clue, I was able to get a new scag on sale. I almost bought a husq with 3100s for cheap but it got bad reviews. The imperfections of the scag, such as no removable cover I can live with. I remove the whole deck for service anyways.

I am having an issue with my machine since new.
I purchased the ikon xd 52 about 10 months ago and I'm happy with it for the most part. In forward it runs straight but in reverse one wheel is very slow and the other is too fast causing one wheel to slip on the grass when turning and I find it very undesirable and doesn't seem normal compared with other machines I have used. Is there a way to adjust that (only when reverse), is there air in the system or is it a hydro problem?

Mine does the same one wheel turns faster in reverse. I havnt look but I'm hoping there is and adjustment arm on each transmission.. besides I like the idea of adjusting it in the transmission more than the levers personally. Thanks for asking. Your Ikon XD 42 features sealed, maintenance-free transaxles, so you likely don't need to be concerned with the fluid level changing. However, if you suspect something is off, please contact your nearest Ariens servicing dealer for insight. Our dealers are an extension of our team and will be able to advise, diagnose issues and resolve them if one exists. Additionally, they can process warranty claims if they find any issues that are a result of a manufacturing defect.

Thanks for asking, Michael. There are no other grease fittings on the machine, but we do suggest applying a thin layer of grease between the seat and the seat plate (so it can adjust forward and back freely) occasionally.

Here's a possibly stupid question. Why don't they install the engine facing the other way so that the oil drain is at the back where you could install a permanent drain tube instead of having to keep up with that silly clear plastic hose? Here's another stupid question. Why is it that most Ariens owners on youtube can't pronounce "Ariens"? They all say "Aryans", like they've never heard the name before. I'm considering getting one of these soon. I have an ancient Ariens Sno-Thro made in 1965 that still fires right up by the 1st or 2nd pull.
