what a great pattern! and you make it so easy to achieve great results! I added a 3/4" d ring band on the inside flap lining to make it into a crossbody with chains and a shorter strap...thanks for the time you put into this video and I will be popping over to Spencer Org to look at their patterns!!!
I made one with cotton outside, and a waterproof canvas lining... I do not recommend the wpc for lining. I think interfaced quilting Cotton is best. And YOURS LOOKS FABULOUS! GRAT JOB!!
Thats great thanks for your kind comment and for letting me know. I see you joined my group. Please post a photo of your wallet giving the name of the wallet and designer and if you dont mind please mention the tutorial xx
@@DiScarrott ahhh i hope you are a bit better now! I cut it out and interfaced tonight ...I'll be sure to pop it up on your group when it is finished! Xx
Wonderful tutorial, Di!! I have struggled with the zipper with each pattern I've tried...the butler method, the quilt binding method, etc. I watched you do your zipper and it just clicked!! You made it look so very easy!! Mark it, fold it, stitch it, trim it!! Thank you so very, very much for that! Such a small thing to you...such a major, major step in sewing to me!!
Thanks for the tutorial. I'm just about to embark on my first one, a practice for making some for my granddaughters for Christmas. Have you laminated your pattern pieces? Such a good idea for multiple uses!
Welcome hunny. I have been laminating all my patterns for about 4 or so years lol. I made a video a couple of years ago, here’s the link ruclips.net/video/83Olu8kDV48/видео.html. But thanks for the suggestion I totally agree with you
Great tutorial, I’ve had this pattern for so long and waiting to see it done. The only thing I’ve not been totally sold on with this wallet is the curved parts of the lining/ zipper pocket, I was wondering if there’s a reason it couldn’t be done without the curve? Of course when the wallet is closed have to make sure it doesn’t stick out. Your thoughts please ?
I actually think its a nice feature to have as it stops the corners from poking out of the sides hunny. I don't think it would be so nice without the curves. They are very easy to do x

I wish the bottom flap held the cards uptight rather than upside down where it could fall out.

I like your visual for directional. I often get confused when watching videos where is up and down.
Thats great thanks for your kind comment xx
