Cannot wait to make a few of these! Hubby away for a week in a few days so I have absolutely no distractions! Just me, my sewing room and some Christmas movies getting ready for the Holidays!
Another great tutorial. Just wanted to mention that if you are using Water soluble double sided tape and if any shows after sewing you can take a wet cotton swab and go over it until it disolves. It works great.
Thanks for the tutorial and the inspiration to create a curvaceous wallet! I couldn’t figure out how to post on your facebook site on my iPad so, I posted pictures on Diane Spencer Ogg’s facebook site. I made it with vinyl and WPC. It was tough sewing the bottom of the bag with my domestic machine and a beast to birth. Not perfect but, I love it! I’ll be using it with the matching tote by Mergerbags for our trip to Florida for the winter!
Love the tutorial. I had made this one a few months ago and used cork, had trouble with the cork and I also sewed one side of the back strip (LOL), the pattern is really fun to make, so I will try another. Thank you
As a large handed seamster I seriously doubt I could make this with vinyl...maybe denim. I'll give it a try. Remember age 80, sewing experience 3 years. We'll try.
Love the Curvalious wallet. Made one with the front pocket fabric had big circles which able me to have a curve that extended it for more space for a snap magnet. It's a pretty easy sew too.
Love this pattern. Made it when pattern was first released. The zipper does get easier after a couple of times. Great idea for the clear vinyl outside pocket. Looks like I’m gonna have to make another one but gonna use your tutorial this time. Love all your tutorials Thank you for all you do. Lol
I ordered from Monica at Castine. It is getting delivered today!!!!! Both the Sew Fuse and the Sew Fuse Plus. Can't wait to try this interfacing. THanks for the tutorial Jess.
Man this is so frustrating!! I figured out the zipper finally but then I trimmed the seam down around the edges of the zipper and the front panel which left me nothing to attach the linings to ahhhhhhhhh but I’m so happy I got the zipper looking sooo good. I’m going for attempt #3 I’ll tag my results
I'm so happy u made this one, I've been wanting to make it 🤗 That is such a pretty quilting cotton N I love that u put that clear vinyl...Awesome 👌 U done it again, thank u 😚
Thanks Jess for another awesome video and great inspo! I made one of these over the summer using faux leather vinyl for the front main panel and back accent strip and cotton for the front pocket and back main panel. It came out great. Now I may need to make another using clear vinyl for the pocket, such a cool idea.
You have a link to the pattern, but the payment is not with the U.S. currancy. I went to Etsy for the pattern, but it would not take the coupon code you posted. How can I purchase the pattern with the coupon code?
Yea of course! Here’s a link (it’s currently sold out, but I’ll bet she’ll have more soon): www.emporiumthreads.com/collections/tools/products/3-zipper-pocket-template?variant=40614229049528
Has anyone used vinyl for the pocket? Is it difficult to take a phone out of the pocket? I'm more interested in the function of the vinyl as a pocket for a phone than the installation of the vinyl. Thanks!
Did anybody else have trouble printing this pattern? I was able to print the instructions portion of the pattern but the actual pattern pieces wouldnt print kept telling me error message.

Because of your video I just made my first wallet/bag using this pattern. I'm in love with my new wallet and can't wait to make another one!
I actually broke a needle trying to top stitch that last outer/lining combo after turning it out. Definitely not machine friendly
Great tutorial. I just purchased the pattern. I like the use of the clear vinyl. I’m gonna try that.
I enjoyed meeting you at Sew Magical Expo, and I am so happy you are enjoying your template! Thanks for showing it off 😊
Awww thank you so much for gifting me the template! It’s so handy!
Gorgeous! Would it be a good idea to edge the clear vinyl pocket with bias?
I'd thought about that as I was watching.
You definitely could! It will add a little extra bulk by the zipper, but would look beautiful!
Love everything ❤ you do ! Your Awsome! Thank You!
OMG! I love this wallet and tutorial. Thank you so much hun!
Where did you get the candy corn zipper pull? I love that so much!!!
I ordered from Monica at Castine. It is getting delivered today!!!!! Both the Sew Fuse and the Sew Fuse Plus. Can't wait to try this interfacing. THanks for the tutorial Jess.

Can you tell me where you get your disney vinyl from please

Has anyone used vinyl for the pocket? Is it difficult to take a phone out of the pocket? I'm more interested in the function of the vinyl as a pocket for a phone than the installation of the vinyl. Thanks!
You need a tailor’s clapper to finish the press on your seams. 😉
Hey Jess. Dena here. Can u please make another one? With embroidery Christmas 🎄 and Thanksgiving turkey on it. That would b soooo awesome. 🙂🙂
Did anybody else have trouble printing this pattern? I was able to print the instructions portion of the pattern but the actual pattern pieces wouldnt print kept telling me error message.
I had the same issue. I could print all pieces only
I love your tutorials. I do find the black background too harsh.
I agree, I’m still battling the right table color
Funny , my sister in law just asked me about making a zip around wallet . Then you pop up. Are you spying on me? If you are, thanks! ;)
I’m everywhere 🤫 😱 😉
