1:21:35 That tapering that you mentioned is very understandable... especially for beginners. But fun fact: it has as sewing term: "grading the seam." 👍. 💖🌞🌵😷
Good tutorial, now I have the courage to make a recessed zip to a bag without it! Many bags would be much more usable with it. But - you mention that you'll buy the double sided sewable tape from a German site, but I didn't quite catch the name (apart of the .de at the end =)...
Oh thats great to hear thank you for giving me such lovely feedback. I apologise I meant to put the link in the description of the video and forgot. I have added it now but here it is also farbenmix.de/naehzubehoer/stylefix-und-naehhelfer-shop/ I buy the 50m rolls and it is the best I have ever found.
Great tutorial, Di! Clear, concise instructions! I appreciate you taking the time to explain the reasoning behind some of the steps. May I ask what fabric you are using for the lining? Thanks!
Awe thanks so much for your kind comment. The fabric is fantastic. Its water repellant and it doesnt need interfacing so it saves a fortune. I am giving you the link to the site I buy from. Then you can read up on it. poundfabrics.co.uk/products/pu-coated-water-repellent-fabric
@@DiScarrott Thanks for getting back to me, I have ordered the stapler, can't wait to try it out. Thanks also for showing me how to put in a recessed zipper going to give it a go.

Does your stapler have a brand and type name, trying to trawl though "hundreds" of them on Amazon.
When searching on Amazon I always read the reviews and pick the one with best reviews. This is my one www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B077R25DCR/po
